Personally, I know that over the yrs. he has become an Awesome actor, and he has some wonderful movies and such out there. Ones that will always be Great classics as well. I personally have been following him since he was faily young, and remember him in the TV show "Boosom Buddies", and then one of the first movies with him in it I remember is Splash.
Since then he has made many wonderful movies, and you can never go wrong in watching a Good Tom Hanks movie. Personally he is always one of the actors I would Love to personally meet and Thank as well. There have been Documentaries, Comedies, etc. and many make us who we have become today for sure.
So with all that said, do you enjoy his movies, and what are some of your favorites? My all time favorite of his has got to be "Sleepless in Seattle." Then along with that it would be "Forrest Gump" or "Philadelphia." Share some of yours as well.

I love Tom Hank movies they were pretty great. My favorites are Forest Gump and Cast away. Pretty sad but good movies. He does good acting like being mentally challenged but not fully mentally challenged. Hes a classic but new movies just dont seem great that feature Tom Hanks. I like Tom Hanks in a lot of his roles. Sleepless in Seattle and Castaway as well as Forest Gump (which is my favorite movie with him in it). I'm not, however, as rabidly devoted to him as some people. And, no, I do not wish he and Meg Ryan would star in every movie. How many times can they play star crossed lovers or people who are perfect for each other and just don't realize it. The type casting must annoy them both. Hey krause! I have also been following Tom Hanks since he first started out in Bosom Buddies! When I first saw him, and he was young then, I said to myself this guy is cute and very funny and he is going to be someone some day! And I was right! And I loved Splash too! And I loved all the movies that you mentioned and Forest Gump was one of my favorites. I actually love just about all of Tom Hanks movies. I think he is such a diverse actor. He can do comedy or drama and is just as great in either one! [Opal26]
yes Tom Hanks is wonderful and he has so much to his credit including being vice president of the academy awards if I remember correctly. He is the same age as I am. My favorite movie was philadelphia, but I did like turner and hooch so much. [winterose]
I like Ton Hanks a lot but I don't think I was too inspired by his earlier comedy movies like Splash and Big. I really became impressed with his later acting roles, Forrest Gump, Saving Private Ryan and The Green Mile being amongst some of my favourite movies. [stmech0]
I very much like Tom Hanks as an actor and he seems a decent person as well. I liked him in almost all of his roles, from Philadelphia to the Bonfire of the Vanities to Saving Private Ryan. I really enjoy Tom Hanks. He is an all around actor and I have to say I haven't watched a movie with him in it yet that I disliked. Saving Private Ryan,Big are some of my favs but my all time favorite has to be Polar Express. It's an amazing feel good movie during the holidays. I make sure and watch that film every year at Christmas time to get me into the spirit. I have a feeling his son Colin is starting to make a mark for himself as well. [super1515]

Yes I am a Tom Hanks fan. And way before Bosom Buddies. When I was 12, a made for tv movie came out. It was called Monsters and Mazes. It was supposedly based on the D&D game. Not many people even have heard of it. But you can rent it. It's available at least on Netflix. [ersmommy1]

Oh yes... I think Tom Hanks is one of the absolute best actors out there! Like you, I watched him in Boosum Buddies too. It was hilarious! I really liked his movie with the dog in it. What was it called?.... ummm, (man, for the life of me I can't remember what it is called! - do you?) and then there was "Big", that was really good too. You are right, "Splash" was great. Oh, did you ever see the one that takes place solely in an airport? "The Terminal"! It was really good too. I suggest you see that one if you haven't yet. The one where he gets stranded on an island is really good too, "Cast Away". We own several, including the last two I mentioned, as well as "Forrest Gump". That is one of my husband's favorites. Another actor whom I just love to death is Harrison Ford! Wonderful, wonderful actor! All of his Indiana Jones movies, and sooo many others too. Have you ever seen "Regarding Henry"? He is a good actor, but not my favorite. I did love him in "Sleepless in Seattle" and also in "Splash' and that one where he crashed on this island, but I forget the name of that as I only saw it once. He is able to take on any role, did not like Forrest Gump, and I did not like Philidelphia. My favorite was Sleepless in Seattle and that is because I am an incurable romantic. [suspenseful]
