what are the movies that you have seen repeatedly and still makes you cry? can you name one?
1. the chronicles of Narnia (the lion, the witch, and the wardrobe)
-> i cry on the scene when the Lion was killed in the stone table by the snow queen. it reminds me of Jesus' crucifixion.
2. the notebook
-> the part when they were in the institution where both couple having dinner and the girl who has Alzheimer's disease was able to remember a bit of their memory together for a split second and after she has forgotten everything about it due to her sickness. i really cried on that part.
3. a walk to remember
-> it is when jaimee became so weak and so sick due to her leukemia and his leading man went his way to his father who lived a bit far from their place to ask help him cure her girlfriend.
4. monster inc.
-> oh i loved this movie so much... but i just cried when the ripped door of boo, the little girl, was fixed for her to be able to come back to home. after the girl has entered back to her room from her room closet, the door was destroyed again.. i just love this movie.
how about you? are there movies that repeatedly makes you cry? hehe..

responses and comments:
If it makes you feel better the lion king makes me cry every time Muffassa dies. My hubby wont even watch it because he lost his dad when he was a kid so we usually skip that scene all together. I cry in Titanic when the lady is reading her kids the bedtime story as the ship is sinking and the older couple is holding each other in bed. Those are the two that came to mind first. [babykeka80]
oh yeah. that scene in the movie titanic is so sad. it is like they have no other choice but to die in each others arms together right? yeah i agree with you.. it is a scene worth crying for. [skbh12]
Two women.Lorenzo's oil,Children of heaven and Sophie's choice to name a few .I can go on with the classics. [balasri]
Old Yellar! I defeniatly cry during old yellar! after he is changed is when I start tearing up...about from the point where Travis walks in on him when he is first rapid, up until Travis shoots him. Such a sad movie! Let's see, I'm sure I tear up at Titanic! lol. really sad movie. I think this one is pretty much self explanitory as to why anyone would get emotional during it. Really I'll tear up at any movie where a baby or a small child is hurt. that is my weaknesses in movies. When children are hurt/killed I will get very upset! Also if a character in the movie is crying, and it is a REALLY sad scene/situation, I will probably join them! lol. [LilyoftheThorns]
oh yes.. i cant take the movie black hawk down when the helicopter was stranded in the middle of a place where all were surrounded by their opponents, they brutally hit by the soldiers of that place. i felt really sorry for the ones who were inside the chopper because they were really helpless at that moment. [skbh12]
It's a great thing that we can cry from time to time. It's like a stress reliever wherein you can release the tensions you've been having recently. Funny because just a while ago, I was crying because of this Korean Movie I was watching online. The KMovie was entitled "100 Days With Mr. Arrogant". The story encircles the life of a High School student who scratched the car of Mr. Arrogant (or shall I say Mr. Perfect?). To compensate with the $3,000 he was asking from her for the damages, she signed an Enslavement contract which involves 100 days of enslavement with the Mr. Arrogant. Then, she learns that it would only take $20 to repair a damaged car. She revenges with Mr. Arrogant. But, Mr. Arrogant fights back. He then became her tutor. Mr. Arrogant eventually falls in love with the High School student. Oh, watch it and it'll really make you cry! [cr0ssf41r13]
really? how can i watch it online for free? can you give me the link? thanks thanks! [skbh12]
No matter how many times I see these movies I still cry. Steele Magnolias and Moulin Rouge. So sad, gets me every time. [sweetcake1369]
I love the song Roxanne that the do. Gives me chills. [sweetcake1369]
I think I am easy to be touched by the movies. In fact I can have a long list about the movies which make me cry. But the most moving movies for me is Brave Heart and City of Angels. Even if I watch them again, I will still shed my tears. [youless]
wow! the same as me! Brave Heart, i watched it for 4 times, and every time i shed my tears when the hero realized that it was the headman of Scotland betrayed him! He was so disappointed, so tired, and couldn't keep being on his feet. [tandyth2008]
The Notebook...Its very wonderful! great love.... [checapricorn]
The Titanic. I couldn't help crying for those self-giving people. I can still remember the scene that I shed my tears in front of my classmates ignoring the embarrassment. But forgive me. I was still young at that time. Lol. [cheney]
haha.. wait. im thinking if i cried to any part of the story... naahh.. i didnt. well, it was really a big hit in the 90's right? [skbh12]
Ring of Bright Water. The one with the otter. [gle007]
The legend of autumn. I have seen it many times,it always move me,mind me of my father waiting me at home which is far far away from me. [sleeney]
"Brokeback Mountain" really made cry and cry. [Happy25]
I didnt cry but I felt bummed out for a minute when I watched the movie the departed. Leodicaprio put in alot of work that whole movie and his life was a roller coaster ride the whole time. he did all that work only to be shot by that b*tch when he finally caught matt damon. 300 had me bummed out as well because leonidas was awsome. [MrDanger2k8]
haha.. i liked the movie 300.. the effects were really good.. [skbh12]
Beaches is the one that I know I have to have a box of tissues ready before I even start the movie. Armagedon is the same way. If I am feeling down and just need a good cry I put in one of those two movies and cry my eyes out. It usually helps me too. [TriciaW]
armagedon is yes great movie to cry one. i cried on that movie too.. haha. but i have watched that only on tv.. [skbh12]
Braveheart is still the tear jerker of all time. sob uncontrollably at the end so badly, ive yet to even really see the end of it. The Color Purple is a steadfast second runner.. when Celies sister Nattie comes back after theyve been seperated nearly all their lives, and theyre screaming each others names across the field, chokes me up every time. Practical Magic.. when the sisers are laying on the floor in the circle, and Gilli is begging Sally to "just let him take me, its me he wants" i start tearing up. theres alot of em thatll get me weepy.. but those three are the ones that come to mind right off the bat. [tessah]
being a man (yeah...), it's not so easy for me to cry, especially during watching a movie. the only movie that made me cry is forrest gump. i cry on the scene when jenny (his girlfriend) left forrest gump. the way forrest gump (tom hank) express his sadness as a retarded man made me cry. he expressed his sadness by running around the world. of course, there are many movies i watched which touched my heart. dance with wolves (kevin costner), accidental hero (dustin hoffman), kramer vs kramer (dustin hoffman), rain man (dustin hoffman....again). [sutanhartanto]
There are countless movies that made me cry coz I'm a crybaby. LOL! I can't enumerate them all. The movie A Walk to Remember made me cry especially the part when Landon knew about Jamie's illness. And from there I kept on crying... LOL! [ademola07]
Really?! I haven't read the book but if I could find time, maybe I will (and I'll have a hanky with me.LOL!). They also said that the book is more detailed... [ademola07]
The movies that made me weep are "The Bridge on the river kwai" I just lost it when the bridge gets blown, and the train falls into the river. "The Pianist" is also a very engrossing movie. Emotional movies don't make me weep. There has to be something extraordinary to make me weep. I also got tears in my eyes watching "The perfect storm" which showcases the life of fishermen -- A brilliant movie which didn't fare well at the box-office. [Screech]
i havent seen any of the movies mentioned. wait i guess i have seen the pianist but parts of it only.. [skbh12]
There are a lot but of course I cant think of them when I am trying to. 1)The notebook 2) A walk to remember Those are the only ones that are coming to mind but there are plenty. [kimcook1985]
A Time to Kill with Matthew Mcconoghey (sp error.lol) and Sandra Bullock. I cry at the part where Matthew is standing at the jury stand giving his final statement about the little girl. A Walk to Remember also always makes me cry, when he finds out Jamie's sick and goes to his dad for help. I have a few more but I can't remember the names. They are at the tip of my tongue though! [katisaurus]
Even though it makes my heart do sommersaults of joy, I cry all the way through Napoleon Dynamite. It is a love story on so many different levels. I cannot help but be touched by this movie and I wish the people of the world would all watch it and feel the magic. [VoteforPedro]
hmmm.. i can see that it is a very well recommended movie huh.. hmmm. we'll see.. ill try looking for the movie in a video store and watch it.. [skbh12]
Titanic is the only one that makes me cry.I've seen that movie now over a dozen times, and it still makes me weep. i think that it's one of the all-time greats. [BUSSY1979]
Passion of the Christ - It hurts my heart so much to know what Christ endured for us. Most - Very short but EXTREMLY powerful movie Steele Magnolis - Sucks being diabetic and watching a movie about a diabetic - There are dozens more I am sure lol but those come to mind. [shannon76]
oh yes.. i cried on that movie too.. i hate seeing that movie too because of the cruelty they've done to Jesus during His time. it hurts me seeing the scenes.. [skbh12]
i don't really want to watch the sorrow movies. i like to watch the comedy movies and fantasy movies. [qazqwezhang]
There is so many movies can make me cry . The most unforgettable one is a Taiwang film Mother .It saies the deep sentiment from mother and her son . I cann't help crying every time . [lily3753]
There are so many that come to mind that make me cry, doesn't matter how many times I see them either. "Steele Magnolias", "Armageddon," "The Lord of The Rings" to name just a few. Actually I have a bunch of movies here that make me cry for various reasons. I'm a sucker when it comes to movies and I get so into them. It's just very easy for me to tear up. I cry with "Monsters Inc" as well. Actually most animated films get to me, you laugh, cry and then laugh again. [emeraldisle]
There was only one movie which I teared and that was in 1979 and the movie was "The Champ", starring the legendaries like Jon Voight, Faye Dunaway, Rick Shroder and Jack Warden. It is just so touching about a father fighting for the custody of his son. The love of a father willing to do everything for the well being of his son after his wife, the mother of the child walked out on them and decided to comeback for the child. It was so touching that I teared. After this movie, I just stopped tearing. I do not know why and I think I am just less emotional (maybe) nowadays. [skysuccess]
I watched Armageddon and Tanging Yaman and I cried really hard. Also, the PAssion of the Christ really made me feel a lot more than crying. [NICKY_FERDIE]
There are so many that make me cry. I'm the kind of person who can find a reason to cry at a comendy! Ones I can think of off the top of my head are The Notebook, Titanic, We are Marshall, Hotel Rwanda, The Last King of Scottland, Schindler's List, We Were Soldiers. [mom4kids]
One of the movie that made me cry is Steel Magnolias. It starred Julia Roberts, Sally Field, Dolly Parton and Shirley Mclaine. It was originally released in 1989. Actually, I was able to watched this movie by accident on HBO. There is nothing good on TV that day , so I was just browsing through channels when I encountered the movie. Luckily, it was just the beginning when I switched to it. Since I am a Julia Roberts fan, I decided to watch the movie and I found the story awesome. I cried heavily when Julia Roberts' character Shelby died in the film after gaving birth, because of complicationa from her type 1 diabetes. It is a dramatic with just a pinch of comedy in it. [bluecrystal1982]
I cry at so many movies, I can find reasons to cry watching a comedy! Movies I can think of off the top of my head that make me cry are: The Passion of the Christ, The Notebook, Schindlers List, The Last King of Scottland, Hotel Rwanda, We are Marshall, We were Soldiers. [mom4kids]
There are a lot of movies that have made me cry and still make me cry, no matter how many times I watch them. The two though that stick out in my mind are Ghost and Titanic. It doesn't matter how many times I have watched them. I start to cry even before the sad part comes. [YorkieBear]
Oh wait....Message in a Bottle too. [YorkieBear]
5. If Only this movie may teel yuo how precious someone (who you loves and do loves you) haw precious the time,, because you dont know haw many years yuo may still live in this world,, just watch that movie!!! [Kalistha]
i never heard of it. is it hollywood? tell me more about the movie, the actor and director [siZidni]
I have seen a lot of emotional movies but did not cry for single instance (OK,leave the ones when I was too young). I am from India so my first love for Cinema will be Hindi Movies. I have cried as many times as I have seen the movie Taare Zameen Par (directed by Aamir Khan). The scene where emotion touches its peak is when Ishant gets prize for his marvelous painting and runs towards his mentor(Aamir Khan). This causes thrill running through ur spine. After seeing everyone dumping him ,Ishant goes into a kind of coma in which he refuses to interact with peoples ,leaves his love of life painting... But the destiny made Ishant meet Ram(Aamir Khan)and his life takes new turn where he is going to earn his morale back, where he will be living confident life. Aamir Khan helps him to overcome learning dislexia and the artist within Ishant gets wings of fire(brushes!!indeed)to meet the world!!! [relics_aoe]
hi skbh12, how's your day? happy anyway, for me it is titanic that makes me cry. just a little info, according to Wikipedia.org, Titanic is a 1997 disaster romance film directed, written, produced and edited by James Cameron about the sinking of the RMS Titanic. It features Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet as Jack Dawson and Rose DeWitt Bukater, two members of different social classes who fall in love aboard the ill-fated 1912 maiden voyage of the ship. The main characters and the central love story are fictional, but some supporting characters (such as members of the ship's crew) are based on real historical figures. Gloria Stuart plays the elderly Rose, who narrates the film in a modern day framing device. for more info bout this... here's a link for you.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Titanic_(1997_film) thanks for posting and sharing this....rolleyes cheers and God bless... [delgar]
I cried over a lot of movies already. I'm such a baby. LOL. Here are some movies that made me cry: 1. A walk to remember - yeah, that part where shane west asked his dad to help many moore and the day of their wedding. 2. ET - when drew said goodbye to ET. 3. Armageddon - I cried my eyes out during the part where bruce and liv were talking via phone video or something. My hanky was soaked! 4. Lion King - when Mufasa died. Simba was so cute then. 5. If Only - the part where the boyfriend died and Jennifer was still on the hospital talking to her friend and the part where she sang take my heart back. These movies never fail to leave me teary-eyed and depressed after watching it for the nth time. Haha! [marababe]
Life is beautiful The notebook Titanic Before Sunrise [arjun999]
The only movie that will make me cry is Terms of enderament. I cry when the boys come to see their mother in the hospital, and I cry when the grandmother realizes it is harder than she thought it would be. [teison2]
The Notebook and A Walk to Remember. It's funny how 2 people who are so different could end up fallin in love unconditionally up to their deathbed. These two movies are really an inspiration for those who love, loving and to be love. [reejane]
Man on fire. denzel washington and dakota fanning it really made me cry...in the end.. [moon317317]
(1)Titanic - the scene when Jack dies, oh it gets me every time. (2)The Color Purple - when the sisters are reunited at the end and when Celie's son Adam and Olivia embrace her. (3)Ghost - at the end when Oda Mae and Molly get to see Sam. (4)Philadelphia. [howard96h]
My daughter and I watched the Notebook a couple of weeks ago and were both weeping, an amazing story, so touching and the love so real. I always cry at the Green Mile and the injustice of it, Michael when he starts losing his feathers and City of Angels at the unexpected sad end, just so many. My daughters have recently seen PS I Love You, I have read the book and it didn't make me cry but they say half the cinema audience is crying through it as the film. Ellie :D [ellie333]
1) Braveheart When Willian Wallace shouted out:"freedom" at the end of his life. 2) patriot when Benjamin's youngest daughter Susan cried and asked Benjamin not to leave her and she will say anything he want her to say. I like Mel Gibson's movies. 3) A.I. Monica leaved David at the forest.. [LucyZhang]
ok thats a good theme for discussion! I have cried at three movies! the first was the "Titanic" when i were 11 years old and i were really socked from the death of such a big amount of people died with that way! The second is "Politiki Kouzina", a greek movie in which a greek boy which borned at Instabul has to leave for Greece and leave all he love back. The third, ans last is "Nyfes" or "Brides" another greek movie where greece girls leave greece to go to america to marry unknown men. [knithomaria]
i cried while watching kal ho naa ho. [kanika0471]
Actually ya there are....and it takes a lot to get me to cry LOL..but these movies manage to get me every single time *in no specific order* Hotel Rwanda Boys Don't Cry Soliders Girl Powder Pay It Forward Those are just a couple that get me...There are others though.. [Ravenladyj]
The movie "Ghost" always makes me cry!!LOL [angemac23]
eh...I didn't remember the name of the movie that made me cry. When I saw the movie,I cried two times. The first time is when the elephant wanted to save the baby because a snake got into the house, but it was locked by the iron chain,so it had to struggle to free itself,at last the host beat it not knowing the fact. Another is when a poacher wanted to kill a young elephant who was her baby,so it ran over to protect her baby but it was shot...when I saw its body lying on the earth,I couldn't help crying,I felt so sad that my tears kept on flowing out of my eyes...do you know the name of the movie?or watch some of movies like it? [jacksome]
Here are a few that got me all teary eyed. The Notebook: when the woman remembers while they're having dinner, but only for a few moments and then she loses her memory again and screams for help to get this strange man (her hubby) away from her...broke my heart... and also at the very end, when they go away together. Titanic: when the old couple cuddles together, waiting to die. When the mother reads a bedtime story to her 2 children, to make them fall asleep before they die. When Rose jumps back onto Titanic, saying she cannot leave without Jack. When the rescue boats arrive and Rose is telling Jack, but then realizes that he's dead and she lets him fall down deep in the ocean. When Rose, now an old woman, dies in her sleep. Ghost: the scene with the penny I am Legend: the scene where he realizes his dog got contaminated and he has to kill it. I cried like a freakin baby LOL A walk to remember: when Jamie dies so many other movies have made me cry, but i can't remember the specific scenes: I am Sam, My best friend's wedding, Stepmom, A.I.,The pursuit of happiness [jewel76]
The one that has made me cry the most is The Passion of the Christ. From the minute they started flogging (beating) Him all the way to the end I'm bawling. The first time I saw it was in the theater and I cried the whole way home. I think that one hits me the hardest since it's true and He went through all of that (worse actually) for us. I always cry watching Old Yeller atthe part where they have to shoot him. I also get a tear in my eye at the end of The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas when Burt Reynolds picks up Dolly Parton and whisks her away. [chellekellam]
there are two shows that I can think of to make me cry and that is The Doll Maker wth Sissy Spasik the story was about a family who moved to find work and moved to a town where they found work which was by the railroad any way the mother learned to make dolls out of scrap wood and sold them they had 3 children two of which was in school and the little girl stayed home ,she had an imanginary friend and she was getting underfoot and her mother said go out and play the little girl went and played by the tracts and when the family heard the train coming they called for the little girl but she could not hear them because of the whistle of the train the train back up and cut the little girls legs off just about the time her mother came around the corner of the house and saw what happened they rushed the little girls and her legs to the hospital and the doctors told them that it would cost to have them do the surgery the father did not have the money,to pay for the operation but Sissy Spasik took the hem out of her coat and pulled out money she was saving from selling her dolls and throwed it at the doctors but the little girl died on the operating table the family packed everything they coud and moved back home where they buried the little girl. It was a very sad ending to the story and I have not seen it since.the other movie that made me cry was Pure Country at the end of the moviewhere george Stait sang Our Love Is Unconditional [sweetaspie52]
The first movie that I can remember not just crying, but sobbing, was called "The Heart is a Lonely Hunter" with Alan Arkin. He played a deaf/mute and the movie started out sad and kept getting sadder. I saw it with some friends when I was in college and when the movie ended, we ran to the car and used a whole roll of paper towels to dry our eyes. Other movies are "Born on the Fourth of July", Forrest Gump, Uncle Buck (the scene with his niece) Philadelphia and of course "Old Yellar". Any movie, even a comedy, that has an especially tender scene, will probably make me cry. [surfette]
movies that makes me cry...titanic, love actually, nothing hill, air bud, jerry macguire and many more.i often cry when watch movie... [deltagodam]
I cried at The Notebook and The Perfect Storm. Those were by far the saddest movies I have ever watched. Oh I cried at Titanic too when I was 12 years old. I did not cry at a walk to remember. I must have not been paying attention when she passed away because the next thing I knew he was a doctor and was meeting with her father. It was a very good movie tho. [vulgarlittleprincess]
oh yes the movie a walk to remember was good but in the book it says that she was able to get married in a chapel but she was riding on her wheelchair and looked so weak. thats sad but at least she gets to marry the guy she loved. i think i would cry more on the book if i had read it. [skbh12]
Well, the last movie that made me cry was an Indian movie called "Taare Zameen Par:Every Child is Special" which in English actually means; Stars on earth:every child is speacial. Directed by the most influential Mr.Aamir Khan, actor/director. it won more than 4 Filmfare awards, one of them being for best director, best debut child actor, best lyrics, best music, and on and on. Too good, and a must watch. [ProdigY47]
For me 1. Prince of Tide when the three children jump into the water holding hands; 2. Forrest Gump, multiple times - when his mother dies and then when Jenny comes back into his life and she eventually dies, when he goes to the tree where she is buried and talks to her about their son; 3. Bambi or Red Yeller when Bambi's mother dies and Red Yeller when the dog has to be put down.... [kolleenwilson]
forrest gump is a great movie full of inspiration in it. i love the movie too.. [skbh12]
there are just too many movies to remember, there was one with ricky schroeder called the champ, that was so sad, the father is a boxer and dies leaving the little boy, there was bambi, cried when she was shot, there was ole yeller, cried when they had to put the dog down. cried with the daughter is dying in terms of endearment [winterose]
ohhhhhhh my gosh, it really make me cry The Chronicles of Narnia, also The Love Story it is movie of one blind lady & one handsome guy that who care of her & get merried to another woman it so sad actually it is korean film, also the movie of india called BLACK it really toucheble. [Ohara_1983]
I have not been to any sad movies or watched any on the movie channel for a while. The ones that make me cry are Terms of Endearment, Dark Victory, Love Story, and Penny Serenade. I get really teary eyed when these women die before they had a chance to either have children, or were able to see their children grow up, or to see their grandchildren. And I felt sad when that little girl died in Penny Serenade, I think it was pneumonia, and how many children died before penicillin was discovered. So sad. They do not make movies like that nowadays and I have not mentioned movies where someone died and you were angry that that person was killed or died. [suspenseful]
Oh G-d! Losing Isaiah The Namesake Imitation of Life [fec139]
Yes ... there are movies that still make me cry even after seeing them over and over again ... most of them are the tear jerker endings that give me a lump in my throat and then the tears start flowing ... these are some of them ... Days of Wine and Roses, Madame X, Splendor in the Grass, Funny Girl, Kramer vs Kramer, Rain Man, Dr. Zhivago, An Affair to Remember, Old Yeller, Out of Africa, The Way we Were, West Side Story, East of Eden ... these are just a few of the sad movies that I can remember. sad [marilynut]
I cry easily at movies but there are 2 that come to mind immediately. The first is Pay it Forward. The first time I saw it was when we showed it to the students at school as a reward movie. I didn't really get to see the entire movie because I was the door monitor and was in and out of the room a couple of times, but I was near tears and kept myself from crying since I was in class. One of the students admitted that he had cried......and we are talking inner city, junior high, special ed. I made it a point to see it again and cried then and every other time after that. I won't tell what made me cry because I would suggest that everyone see the movie and cry themselves. The second movie that makes me cry every time is Ghost with Demi Moore and the beautiful scene where they do the close-up of her with the single tear going down her cheek. I think this is a beautiful movie even if it does have such tragedy in it. [idowrite72]
I am so flattered to be given the best response! This is only the second time it has happened and I wouldn't have thought that this response would have been thought the best........WOW and thanks!! [idowrite72]
hi guys.. let me share to you my personal choice of a romantic movies that makes my heart skips a beat and my eyes full of tears.... 1.WEST SIDE STORY. a winner of 10 academy awards, this 1961 musical remains irresistible. based on a smash Broadway play updating shakespears Romeo and Juliet, the film stars NAtalie Wood and Richard Beymer as the star crossed lovers from different neighborhood and ethnicity. i love i love i love.. one of the best movies of all time. 2. BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. Belle is unique and an avid reader which is one of the reasons why she is the best Disney Princes ever. she believes in inward beauty and finds it in the Beast. 3. THE WAY WE WERE. Staring Barbra Streisand and Robert Redford. this movie always moves me. this happens frequently in life. you love someone but your differences are too great to stay together...doesn't mean you don't love them you just can't live with them. here is the movie that understands love and relationships much more than the film "love story". and they have delightful script. if you haven't seen this be aware that the ending will leave you emotionally devastated if your a fan of a good romance. this is a sad pensive love story that will have you thinking for days. be prepared to bawl your eyes out. this is a movie of everlasting beauty. 4. AN AFFAIR TO REMEMBER. this is a superb classic with Cary Grant and DEborah KErr. a real tear jerker and holds its own after all these years. [sheralee]
the west side story seems interesting to me. oh yes beauty and the best made me cry too.. you are right. belle is the best disney princess for she has learned to love a person not by his looks but with what is inside a persons heart.. [skbh12]
Well, i think the movie that makes me cry is 'KAL HO NA HO', maybe you are not familiar with this movie but its a BOLLYWOOD movie and the more i saw this movie till now, i know it makes me cry...lol Have Fun!!!happy [mnsrwt123]

The only movie I can think of right now (and it's memorable because it was the first movie where I cried) is Tuck Everlasting. The movie was beautiful and so sad. [autumnsong]
I do not recollect so easily. But i cried while watching 'The towering inferno' years back. There is a movie in telugu 'shubaha sankalpam' which made me almost cry. The direction was so slick that we want to cry a lot but we always be on the verge of crying only. And never cry! [p_vadla]
The green mile that is the only one that comes to my mind right now [Cajunhellcat]
I dont like to cry by watching movies and dont like to watch any movies with unhappy endings. Our life is to enjoy.By seeing such movies i will get more tensed and i never like to watch such movies. [sreejithsreenivas]

yup. it hurts to see crucifying Jesus in a very brutal way right? [skbh12]
Yah one of the movies that makes me cry are: Owo Blow, Iru Esin. and lots more. [lovesam]
Armaggedon ->the part where Harry Stamper said his goodbyes to his daughter (Grace). as we all know, one of Harry Stamper's crew was the fiance of his daughter.. the two were assigned to activate the bomb so that they can destroy the asteroid that attacks their space shuttle. and when the time came that one of them should be left behind, Harry sacrifices himself and told him to take good care of Grace. [skreb2002]
taiyou no uta, 1 litre of tears, sky high(i forgot the exact title, but it's a korean movie), my sassy girl. am, well there are also some hollywood films but i forgot their title, ah yeah i remember forest gump. of course a walk to remember. Pursuit of Happiness I made a bucket of tears when i watched this movie..until now,, it was one of the best movies for me..specially the part where Will and his son had to stay in the comfort room at the train station to sleep, while the father tried comforting his son by making a story that they're being attacked and they have to find a shelter...he was crying while doing so but his son did'nt noticed it at all.. i felt the pain of a father to see his son experienced that kind of tragic situation...he loves his son very much, and i was so touched by it.. oh yes. ive seen the trailer but havent watched the movie yet and i think it really is a recommendable movie to be watched by anyone right? it is something to learn from.. [skbh12]
i think the movie kinsey is sad.. not just because the actor was great but also because it was about a true person who did so much work which benefited humanity.. he's a real genius who was unappreciated in his time.. [posham]
Well There are two movies which make me cry. 1] Swas -- it is a marathi movie about a kid with cancer of eyes who is going to lose his eyes after the operation to remove the cancer is done. So his grandfather wants to show him the world before his sight is gone so that he can remember all the colours in his mind. 2] Taare Jameen Par -- Which is about a dyslexic kid who goes through hell as his problem is not diagnosed. Till he finds a teacher who deals with him in a very different way. [anuraa30]

On Saturday night my husband and I watched a fantastic movie on Lifetime called The Memory-keeper's Daughter, about a wife and husband who had a daughter with downs syndrome, and the husband didn't want the wife to know, so he told her the baby died, but instead the baby went home with a nurse. When the baby grew up she was eventually reunited with her bio-mother. The tear-jerking point was at the end when the daughter was told about her "mother" by her other mother. The girl had a bouquet of flowers in her hand, and upon learning she had two mothers, she divided the flowers in half. [danishcanadian]

Hi. The main movie that makes me cry even after seeing it repeatedly is, The Color Purple. The parts that really tears me up, is when the character Celie, played by Whoopee Goldberg, is physically separated from her sister, when she is reunited with her sister and long lost children, and when the character played by Oprah Winfrey strikes a white man and is set to jailed, is brutally beated in jail, and when she comes home half-crazy and feeling so lost, detached, and out of place.
