Do you like to see a film on cinema or do you prefer to see confortably at your home? Me, its depend. See a movie on a big screen and with a good audio system could be fun. but, also like at home, u can stop the film when u want, go eat when u want etc.. u are free lol.. For a first of movie i like go see in cinema. Its great and permit me to exit little away for the home.

I like to watch movies in the comfort of my own home. I can put on my jammies and cuddle up with a blanket my snacks and drinks are alot cheaper and I can pause the movei if I need to plus going to the cinema is to expensive now. [luvstochat]
Well I've only gone to seen a movie in a cinema like once. I see most of the movies at home. But when I did go to the cinema I liked it because of the audio and the cool food. But most of the time I stay home. But this summer I think I might go a few times to the cinema to watch a movie with two of my siblings. [ayumitakashi]
It depends on teh movie...If it is a movie I want to see very bad I will go ahead and go to the cinema...Going to the movies to me is a extra magical experience..I guess though in most cases watching a movie at home is cheaper and better...Like you said you can hit the stop botton for those sudden bathroom brakes or hunger stops...lol [Breath]
For me, It depends on the movie. I like watching thrillers on the big screen. Anything other than that can be watched at home. But, I like the idea of stopping the movie to get up and use the bathroom or grab something to eat. [Xdrowninghavocx]
yes, although we dont go to the movie theatre often because it is so expensive, i do like it. (i love their popcorn!) we recently traded in our air miles points and got 4 free tickets as well as popcorn and a drink. [cher913]
I very rarely go to the movie theaters anymore. First off they are way too exspensive & secondly they hardly have anything out I want to see. I usually wait till it comes on DVD & then I watch it in the comfort of my own home, cuddled on the sofa with my husband. [robsbrooklyngirl]

i don't usually go to cinema.i always download some movies and then watch it at home.i can do things which i want to do when i watch movies,such as chating with friends,eating some cookies and so on.It's very convenient.But going in cinema also has advantages like u says.In china,the movie ticket will cost 35---50 RMB.So i will go to cinema with my family in holidays. I useally wait til they come out on dvd. Going to see a movie in theaters would be nice but it's getting to expensive now a days. Watching them at home I can pause it if I need to and continue when I want. It's been a while since I've been to a theater. [Remembering1996]

It depends on my mood. Sometimes I am in a more sociable mood where I want to get out of the house and go do something with my friends. We have a place in our area which is like a restaurant and a movie theatre combined - so they serve you lunch or dinner while a movie is playing. My friends and I do that a fair amount. Sometimes we go to the movies in the evenings. Other times, I just feel like staying home and choosing one of my videos or DVD's and get on the floor and do some of my dance stretches while I am watching... I do it right before bed a lot when I am in my pj's. It feels very comfortable to me. Plus it is at no cost to me! So it all depends on how sociable I am feeling on a given day... and whether I feel I have time and money to spare. [skydancer]
hello julie85, like you, IT DEPENDS haha! if it is like a cheezy movie then id rather watched it at home with my man so we can just lay in the sofa and cuddle while we are enjoying the cheeziness LOL but if it's an action one, then we are heading to the cinema and watched it full blast. we watched the opening of the "iron man" last night and it was pretty awesome and that's the best time to watch it coz the sound is great. we dont have others at home so we dont need it to exit away but since we are always at home, watching cinema is our other way of dating, haha! takecare and good night! It really depends on what kind of movie it is. If it's anything related to horror or action movies, I like going to the cinema to see it because the effect is better. But if it's some regular love story or something like that, I prefer to watch at home. [wondericequeen]

I have lived in the States now for 31 years and I have only been to the cinema about 5 times and that was many years ago. For me there is no comparison between the comfort of watching a movie at home or going to the cinema. Home wins by a mile. [whiteheather39]

i do enjoy going to the cinema if its a firstvshowing or the movie is yet on DVD,but if its already on disc i just sit at home and enjoy watching it as many times as i can,sometimes it can be nice to watch a movie with a group but then my most enjoyable moment is to watch at home with my cup, of coffee if its cold or with my uce cream if its hot [BYOLA2871]

I love watching movies at home but nothing can compare to seeing them on the big screen. We are fortunate to have Drive-Ins still and that brings out the nastalgic part of the movies. But the theatres, you get better digital quality and surround sound. Although I have a big screen tv with surround sound at home it just doesn't compare. But there are some good things about being at home. I can drink, use the bathroom, pause, get my food etc all in the comforts of home. But then you would have to wait for the new released to come out on video also. [maliki2]
Yes i like going to the cinema,especially for films with special sound effects etc.The atmosphere is far better in the cinema,and the large screen gives you the true feel of the film.Its good to sit and really concentrate,because at home there are so many distractions,and that is such a pain in the rear..you sit down and hubby says..Oh shall we have a cuppa?..or he wants to put the teletext on..to check the footy scores,,well if you are in the cinema,none of this can happen!!!You can have a huge bag of popcorn and munch it all to yourself... I love going to the cinema and the do the whole thing - popcorn, choccies, cold drinks but we don't have movies where we currently live....a small island....so when I get the chance to go off island and go to the big city lights then I am off to the cinema with a dash of speed. Definitely a "stay at home" movie watcher. Most of the time I watch a movie on DVD almost every day but when I just don't have the time to sit that long, (because watching a movie at home always takes longer with all of the pauses!), I will watch a movie online for a while to de stress and relax a while and go back to work and maybe it takes me a couple of days watching a few minutes here and there. But I do so love the comfort of my own home and I don't have to worry about getting to the theater on time or missing pieces of the movie when I run out for a few minutes. Would you believe that I have not been to a theater for more than 25 years????? I don't even know what they look like now a days! [sagesunicorn]
i dont go much at the cinema...i have netflix so i just rent the dvd and watch it at home....but if theres a good movie which is worth the money and worth my gas....i watch it on the big screen....like iron man...my boyfriend and i enjoyed it so much that we wanna watch it again...maybe in a 3d cinema. I like both, at the cinema I can go see a movie right away and not wait until it comes out on video, not to mention the great sound, and the size of the screen. Plus some of the nicer cinemas have the more comfortable seats, and the junk food everyone loves so much, also I like to see the previews. The downsides are, people who forget to turn off cell phones, screaming children, people who talk too loud, sticky floors, and people with really loud and strange laughs, and the occasional person who yells at the screen (I have been in a theater where this has happened). The nice thing about home is the fact you can pause it when you want, you can sit in comfort and not having to worry about annoying people and get that loud "SHHH!!" noise. Plus if you want to sit in quiet you can, or if you want friends to watch you can have them over. I like to order a pizza, and have friends over. So there are advantages and disadvantages to both. At home you don't have the great sound and screen (at least not usually), and you don't see the great previews, plus the junk food isn't as good. Also you are watching movies that have already been in theaters so tons of people have seen it before you, and sometimes I hate the wait. [sissy15]
Well, I do not have a television that works well and my VCR does not work on it. My computer has a DVD player but the monitor has a screen that is a little dark and is only 17 inches... I sometimes watch DVDs at home but frankly when I can see a movie that has been out for awhile at a local discount movie theatre, Mainplace Mall, for those in my area, and only have to pay $1 on Tuesdays and $1.75 every other day of the week, there does not seem to be a reason to skimp and to refrain from seeing a movie on the big screen with the better visual and audio effects. If I though had to pay full price for the movies I saw, I would not think that they were worth the cost as many are not made well, have subject matter that I do not like or bad endings that leave me unhappy that I saw them. As it is now, I see a movie close to me, and spend less money to travel to it than I would if I were to go to the video/DVD store. And, even better, I have the sound and visual benefits that I would not have at home and spend less money to do it. [whiteheron]

I like going in cinema, for movies can only be enjoyed by that way. The sound and the effects od a movie can only be clearly known by that. But as the fee of enjoying a movie is too high here, I have to give up the hobby. Now I see most of the movies on the computer. No matter how hard I have tried, I still can not get as deep feeling as in cinema. If I have the chance to see a movie in the cinema, I think I will never give up the opportunate. I haven't been to the show since the movie the day after tomorrow was at the show lol. I know thats bad. I rather watch movies at home. We have a 55' flat screen tv that is on the wall with surround sound so its nice and to be able to stop the movie whenever we need to is really nice. With a family of four just buying the dvd is cheaper then going to the show and having to worry about finding seats together and buying $5 candy. [mflower2053]

When it comes to me i prefer to see the famous films in cinema.The big and famous films especially action moive need the bg screen to show the effect.And see a film with many people who also have great interest in the film are good atmosphere.Now i don't have so many money to see the film often.If i have find a job and can afford the money i will love the see the films in the cinema. i usually prefer to watch a movie in the cinema. but just like you said, it depends on what kind of movie it is. if its action, adventure, or anything along that genre, i would watch it on the big screen. it would be more enjoyable to watch films like that, like Harry Potter, Chronicles of Narnia, Iron Man and other superhero themed movies, etc. if its a romantic movie, i'd rather watch it at home. or if its a scary movie that needs total silence to feel the effects, i would watch it at home at night when no one is awake. happy [secretbear]
