I think Rowan Atkinson is a great actor. He is one of those hyper dry British actors. He acts so innocent you can not help but laugh at him. lol [SketcherD]
I like Mr. Bean as a comedian because of his antics and they way he innocently pull his jokes. However, I am sometimes concern with how he become stupid on TV, I mean the way he does things. For example, in turning off the lights before going to sleep, he uses a long stick so that he will not stand up and manually turn it off. And it bothers me that kids can imitate some of his acts. My 7 year old son sometimes imitates him and I always tell him that what he is just an actor performing some stunts and making people laugh. [sweetmafia]
i prefer him as good show performer i like to see his shows only movies will also be nice but it is based only on one concept and we have watch it for nearly two hours in some areas we may get bored as other characters are also involved in the story where as in comedy shows, lasts for for only half-hour and maximum role will be played by him and we can have a lot of fun watching him [onlinejalsa4u]

I like Mr bean because he is really very funny.. haha ^_^ I like the way he talks occasionally, and actually he need not talk much.. ALl the funny things that happened are shown thru his acting, and i must say it's superb.. NObody can beat him in that.. lol =D As for being a film actor, i only know that he has starred in his own movie, Mr bean's holiday, and, Johnny english.. I was definately a Mr. Bean fan in the past. His comedy is great. It is more like silent comedy but is extremely funny. I recently watched Mr. Bean's Holiday or something like that and it came out a couple of years ago and it was good but not as good as his shows and movies in the 90's. [jakeb1]

I love teh acter, but hate the mr.bean character I may get flammed but this is what i think mr. bean is the meanest most carless unthoughfull person on the entire planet, just watch his shows and think, he steals stuff. Like candy from babies, once he was at this fair for charity adn he tricked a nooth run by an old man and women so he won teh big prize, what if that booth had been those old guys only livelyhood!!! he does so many bad things its undiscribable. once in a hospital he cut everyone so he could go next in line, by stealing a sick old mans ticket!! funny! i think not!!! Hello sivanj, I love Mr. Bean. I first saw Rowan Atkinson on the BBC in the 1980s, when he was part of the new wave of comedians, appearing as part of the team of the Not The Nine O'Clock News. All these comedians went on to produce other things, so they were all talented. He also did the Black Adder comedy series, which allowed him to act more. It was again with other new comedians like Rik Mayall and Nigel Edmonson. Then he went out on his own and produced Mr. Bean, which has been phenomenal. There have been great mime comedians before - notably English comedy genius Eric Sykes (see You Tube for "The Plank" sketch with Tommy Cooper), but Bean has his own character and his own way of looking at the world. I think Atkinson is like all great comedians - He works very hard at what he does and deserves his success... All the best. Umart [umart13]

he is at his best when he doesn't speak lines... just the reactions you could almost see the turning of the wheels inside his head it is so hilarious... i tried predicting what he will do next... but he always do something funnier than what i imagined... do you have a favorite scene which you can see bean and just laugh about it i have two, the one when he was doing laundry and the one when he visited a dentist [Mathurin]
Well, he's an old favorite of mine, and my father's, because I remember when I was a kid, we would watch it together, and just LAUGH and laugh and laugh ha ha. And one year, I saw on tv, of him doing an on stage performance, and was shocked, because I thought he only did the Mr. Bean character. The stage performance was hilarious! Even funnier in fact. I like him as both, Mr. Bean, himself, and making various cameos on various British movies. I do however also want to see his Black Adder series. [candymarie]

Yup, he sure is one of my favorites. He is simply disgusting, cheap, but terribly entertaining! I've not seen him in any serious roles, but he's certainly good as a comedian. I even like his cartoons!happy [lazeebee]

The original Mr. Bean television series were hilarious and well written. However the following movies were long drawn out unfunny contrived affairs that belong only on really late night television when all they have to compete against are the infomercials. Rowan Atkinson is a talented actor and comedian and I wish there were more episodes of the original television series. I still have to stop and re-watch some of the episodes when I accidentally stumble across them when channel surfing. [mariposaman]
Hi! I like Mr. Bean whether he's a comedian (as Mr. Bean) or as a film actor. I have seen him in a less funny movie entitled, "Keeping Mum" and I really enjoyed his performance as a serious Reverend. I believe he can act very well and can easily step out of his Mr. Bean character to do more serious roles. Actually, I heard that Rowan Atkinson made "Mr. Bean" himself and writes the scripts.
