Well, if you are given a chance, why not? I know it is everybody dream to appear in movies. If given a chance, I would like to be an actress in an action, suspense or flick movies. Besides I heard that to be an actor or actresses is highly compensated.

If given a chance I could appear in a movie, I would choose to be on a medical thriller theme. I'm a very avide fan of CSI series and I find it very interesting to work with them. Speaking of medical thriller themes, I would like to create a movie out of Robin Cooks's books because they are very good. I think if I had my choice I would fit into the comedy world pretty easily. Movies like Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and Road Trip. These are definite roles that I could portray. The main reason that I have never pursued an acting career is basically the fear of rejection. I hate being rejected. I know that it only makes you stronger, but I am a big guy. I dont even like public speaking, so I doubt I would make it acting. I am interested in the entertainment business but if I were to persue it, it would be in the cinematography or director aspects of it, or maybe screen writer, or special effects. I would much rather be behind the camera rather than in front of it. Acting is hard to get into, and even harder to be successful at. There are thousands of people who get small parts in commercials every year that only make a few thousand dollars a year at it, and need other jobs to make ends meet. I worked as an extra on two different TV series, that is my claim to fame! lol It was very poor money being an extra and you have to be there all day, just sitting and waiting, but it was interesting watching how they do the filming of the scenes. I worked very briefly alongside some of Australia's well known actors and many unknown ones. One unknown actor at the time that I was talking to at lunch while I was working on one of them, ended up going onto bigger things after being "discovered" in this particular TV series which was called "Roar". His name was Heath Ledger, you may know of him as he went on to make some Australian films, but then went on to be huge in Hollywood before dying over there a couple of years ago. sad [RawBill1]

Of course no one will be a lead star in an instant, or maybe if i will be the one who be starring in an indi film. But those stars in Indi Films are professional actors and actresses from theatre. Of course I want to be a lead star, but it requires a very deep challenge and a big responsibility. Because the story revolves on you, you have to make it great in order to avoid the movie to be boring. If you will be the lead you must be very very good. If I will be star in a movie, I want to be an extra. Like a play a role, a very important role but i don't have to be always on the scene. Yeah, I really like it too especially if i have the beauty, natural skills and inborn talents. Nope, not everybody neelia.rasp I dont have the desire to appear in any movie. I would love to work on it as part of the crew or someone behind the scenes, that would be fun, at least that way I would be in the movie without exactly appearing in it because my name would be part of the credits at the end.lol Celebrities do get compensated very well but that also would depend on his/her popularity. Someone who's just starting out might not have as big as someone who is even remotely famous. It does pay the bills but the income flow isnt stable. There might be times when he/she has work but there are also times when he/she doesnt have cameo/extras appearance. If I would have the opportunity to work on a movie behind the scenes, I would love to be part of a creative funny movie. I was once in the stands at a movie shot around the area called Varsity Blue - if you see some of the game scenes in the crowd - well, I'm part of that crowd! So is my mom and a few of her friends! Now, I wasn't in the filming of it, but I was at a con that was held at the hotel when they were filming the Elvis movie (not with Elvis, but about Elvis) Heartbreak Hotel. The catering truck offered me some food - but I took a pass - because mostly of my food allergies. I did almost run into the actor playing Elvis - I'm sure he was wondering who the chick in the black cape was and why she was wandering around his set (mind you, his "set" was a street in downtown Austin TEXAS!) I am not one of the people you assume to want to be in movies. Many years ago (1959) for fun I had a screen test to appear in a movie named "The Hypnotic Eye" but my father had a fit when I got the part of a young woman who was supposed to wash her hair over the flame from a gas stove while under hypnosis. I thought it was pretty cool to get the part however as I was not really interested and to keep my father happy I declined the part. [whiteheather39]

Nah, I would not like to work in a movie. Actors study for years to learn about and perfect their craft, then they struggle to be given a chance to gain some experience. I have acted in several amateur plays usually with the lead role or, as in the last one, one of the lead roles. Hi, neelianoscet. Yes, I would love to appear in an movie. I would like to be in an suspense movie. I have always been quite fascinated with an horror movie.. I would like to be in an horror movie, where I am not the one killed. Maybe one that battles the demon. I would like to have magical special powers that will attack the demon and send it back to Hades. I think it would be kind of cool. I may be a little nervous about it though, but it would be pretty cool to see yourself in a movie somewhere and to tell people you were in one.
