Movies are for everyone to watch.. There are horror movies, romantic movies, action flicks and a whole lotta more.. But it depends on person to person, whether he/ she likes watching movies alone or with someone...
So, tell me guys and gals, how do you prefer watching movies?? Alone by yourself or in the company of someone?? And here someone can be anybody from your friends, spouse, or family...
I always like watching movies in the company of someone.. Sometimes I go out with my family, sometimes with my friends when going out for some comedy or action flick, but most of the time with my girlfriend for watching romantic movies or even family movies...

Depends. If it's what my husband calls "Chick Flicks" then yes I like watching them by myself. If I were to watch it with him I just know he would make comments throughout the whole movie. Aside from that then no I don't mind watching movies with other people. [photographygirl73]
If watching movies at the movie house, i prefer to be with the company of my friends. It's good to share your laughter, thrill or tears with them especially share a bucket of popcorn with them while enjoying the movie. lol If watching movies at home like on the movie channels or dvd players, i can watch it alone. happy [rrowenaa]
When I am watching movies in my own house I prefer to watch them alone. Because beeing at home can be full of distractions and people tend to talk and try to make conversation and they distracts me from the movie. I like to be by myself at home so I can turn off the lights, eat some popcorn, and focus all of my attention on the movie. On the other hand, when I go to the movie theater I think that it is more fun to bring someone with you. There you can enjoy the movie and buy really good popcorn to share. And you can also split the cost because movies can be really expensive at the theater, especially at night. Also, some people might think that you are a dork if you go to the movies by yourself, but I guess after they turn the lights down then it doesn't really matter. [kkthom3]

At the theator, I like to be in the company of others. I have never gone alone before. I'd rather go with someone I dont like than by myself. At home I also like to watch movies with others, especially if it is one I've never seen before. Cuz then I have noone to share the interesting parts with. Depends on the type of film, and the type of people who are interested in the particular film. I would bring some one who arent a fan of the film, just to accompany me . Ever since DVD players have become too popular, I've refrained from going to the movies. But when I was still in college and went to the movies to kill time, I usually convince some friends to go with me. This reminds me of my friend Keziah Reje. I love movies especially the horror flicks! I tend to watch movies alone, I guess I like to enter my own world and escape for a short period of time! Horror movies do that for me! I would want to watch in a company of a friend only if i am watching it in a movie hall. otherwise if i am watching it at home, i would prefer to watch alne. There should be no one interrupting in between the movie otherwise my mood gets off and i dont enjoy the movie to the fullest I love to watch horror and suspense movies at home alone. I dont get too scared though but i love to watch them. Some movies which have alot of suspense in it. I saw Quarentine last time in a movie hall and the suspense in it was amazing. It depends. If I'm just watching it for fun, I might take someone along, but when I'm watching a movie for the sake of writing a review later on, I always make it a point to go alone so I can objectively look at the merits of the movie for my review. [SeishiroX]

I prefer to watch movies alone. Because it is hard to focus on the movie when there are lot of other people around me, making some comments about movie, standing up and going out of the room, asking: "Hey, who is thirsty? Mostly i like to watch movies on historical personalities and facts and off beat movies. For the first my kids remain with me and for the other type my wife gives me company. I world like to watch movie in my own even if its horror. I like horror movies but i would prefer action and comedy movies. Like the Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker's Rush Hour(all movies) which has comedy and action. I like watching movies with someone else but alot of times i'll watch them myself. Mainly because I don't have someone interrupting me in between the movie if its one I really want to watch. Well, for the most part I really would rather watch a movie with someone else. Especially when it is a Scary movie for sure. Well ... I do like to watch movies with hubby and kids, but the thing is I also like to watch them alone. Usually we watch movies together, but often after everyone is asleep and I know that there is a good movie I enjoy watching it by myself. I don't go out to the movies. I always come out of the movie theater with a headache, so basically we just rent or watch movies that are aired on tv. It's not to hard to wait for them to come out on DVD and I don't get a headache if I watch them at home. Maybe the big screen doesn't work with me, or maybe the ac that is always on doesn't.
