Good day friends, it is really nice to watch movies in a big screen in our favorite movie house. But before going in, would you prefer to buy something to eat first or have it at the middle of the show or let's say after viewing the whole program?

Off course, its the snacks first. mostly its popcorn with cheese flavor (the biggest size) enough for 4 to 5 persons. And usually coke will have to do for the drinks. After the movie, our spot will surely becomes a mess.lol [Fulltank]
We ALWAYS get out snacks and drinks before the movie (why leave in the middle of it and miss something??). If we are worried the movie is going to be crowded a couple of us will go get seats, and someone will stay behind to get the snacks. [LilyoftheThorns]
Hi Mobhomeir, Frankly speaking, I seldom buy a snack to the cinema. Only once a while, I will get a popcorn and coke as my appetizer. I used to be a movie maniac when I was single. Most of the time when I was out for dating, cinema is the place that we were visited.I watched any kind of movies. Having a snack in the cinema is not really compulsory. I prefer to concentrate on the story when I was in cinema. Noawadays, I never been to cinema after I have given birth to my son. Since I am taking of him full-time,I just can' t find any free time to visit a cinema again and slowly, I am not addicted to cinema anymore. [shia88]

We try to get there before it starts to get good seats, and I save the seats while my husband gets snacks, we usually get popcorn, and sodas. We would get nachos if the theater had good ones, but it doesn't. [Rwrathall]

When I go to the movies I usually will bring my own candy in my pocketbook to munch on during the movie. The movies are expensive as it is then they want you to spend another 10.00 for popcorn and a drink. It's ridiulous. If I don't bring anything to the movie then I wait till after the movie to go out and eat. When they bring down the prices maybe I would consider buying something at the theater. I don't think though that will ever happen. Everything goes up in price and nothing comes down. [lelin1123]

We always buy snacks at the theater, because if we buy them before, the theater managers somehow always discover them, and will conficate them. Around here one is not allowed to bring in outside snacks. They have to pay for the overpriced ones they sell there, if they want to eat at a movie. [danishcanadian]

I like having snacks while watching movies, we always bring in food whether it's hotdog sandwich, popcorn or chips. We don't buy snack in the middle of the movie and we only buy food after the movies only if we still feel hungry after watching. [silverglint]

hello, when i was younger, we have a habit of buying our snacks before we enter the cinema...we bring the foods there, basically its just potato chips, or popcorns and softdrinks! then we are eating while watching the film...hehe its like having a picnic inside...hehe but that was before.... and that was when i am with my mom...hehe coz my just just loves eating while watching any movie, whether at home or at cinema...lol but now, when i go watch a movie with my husband, usually, we just eat first outside before going to the cinema...you know, he's a type who watch a movie seriously..hehe meaning he don't like to do other things while he' watching....but sometimes i can't take it, i still buy some snacks even if we already have our snack outside...hehelol [ckyera]

watching a movie is a big treat for me and i don't want to be disturbed or get distracted of getting up and buying anything for snacks. So before entering the movie house, i already have some snacks for myself. most of the time it's popcorn, fries and juice. [msfrancisco9369]

I love watching movies in theaters. Before watching I already buy some snacks and drinks so that I will not be disturb while watching. I hate it when I have to miss a scene because I need to buy food because I'm hungry and drinks because I'm thirsty. happyhello mobhomeir, I don'tlol watch movies in the theater anymore because it has become very expensive and i had a bad experience being on a theater. but regards to that discussion, before i usually buy cheese popcorn and soft drinks but the last time i just bought my own snack since buying snacks at the mall are too expensive for me..lol [LetranKnight25]

we buy snacks before going into the theater. we would be missing something if we buy it in the middle of the movie. and besides, snacks sold in the restaurants and fast food stores are cheaper than those sold in the theater gates. there is a lot of food choices in other stores outside the theater, too. Hi mob, I always make it a point to buy something to eat and drink before going inside a moviehouse as I enjoy nibbling while watching. I don't want to miss any of scenes or dialog especially when the movie is casted by my favorite artists. And so, I would bring all I want to eat and go to the bathroom before the movie starts. I have to buy snacks before my daughter, niece, and i would enter the movie house... and it would consist mostly of candies, popcorn, and juice... because eating would keep them preoccupied and less bored... The last time i watched a movie alone... i bought a large hot chocolate and bagel from starbucks... that was already my lunch during that time... and i actually ate everything before the movie even started... I prefer that I buy snacks before going to the movie house. My favorite by the way is popcorn or French fries. As I was saying, I prefer it that I have everything I need before I enter the cinema since I don't like the idea of skipping any scene on the movie. But if we like that movie and don't want to miss any single clip then we can stay with out snacks... & coming to me its not a big deal but for my girl friend it is must & should that i have to buy her other wise there is no permission of romance in the theater.... I rather buy snacks and eat it after watching the movie. Because I really don't want to be bother eating while watching a movie. Depends. We often go to the movies right after a meal, so we don't want any snacks then. But if we go in the middle of the afternoon, we often get snacks before the movie starts. Never in the middle - wouldn't want to miss anything. Sometimes we go out for ice cream afterward also. [dawnald]

I prefer to buy snacks during the intermission.When it comes to watching a movie in big screen,i always choose to get tickets for the evening shows.It is because after watching a movie,one can always have an option of having dinner outside.Offcourse,if watching a movie in a multiplex i do have snacks in between if they serve,but never i go at the middle of the show. it depends, one thing that i try and not get is a drink because most of the time i end up having to go to the bathroom half way through, so what i will do is get like some gummy bears or something and i will stal like one sip of my boyfriends drink when im finished them, so this way im not drinking a lot and having to go to the washroom and i am not thirsty either. and i always buy them before i dont like having to get them at any other time. Well, I don't want something to interrupt me while I am watching a movie. So, if I need to buy something I will definitely do that before getting inside the theater. I will never go out in the middle of the movie. Because I believe missing a part of a movie just result in missunderstanding while you interpret it later on. I haven't gone to a theater in awhile, but when I did we would usually either take something in or not have anything at all. You usually aren't allowed to take something in so we would sneak it in sometimes. The cost of the show is high enough, but the concession stand prices are worse. You could go broke if you had a large family, and kids can't understand that the prices are just too high. [cerebellum]

I haven't had popcorn at the movies in 25 years. But back when I did, we always got to the theater early. Got our tickets and got out popcorn and drinks and were the first people in our seats . I do not snack in the cinema. In fact I detest the crunchy noises coming from all around as the movie goes on.
