its been a long time i havent watched a movie, i think it was about three months back i could watch one movie and before that may be around two months back. really i everytime watch a movie along with my husband and now he is so busy with his job and he comes late home but we usually watch movies at the weekend but as we have come after a long vacation we have much pending works to do with and we are just trying to complete those.
do you all find time to watch movies and how frequently do you watch movies ? and what kind of movies do you like to watch and also which language. share your likes and dislikes about the movies and thanks to stop over my discussion and response.

Wow, you have a lot of questions there. I try to watch one or two movies a week, although I keep up with a lot of TV shows too. I like all kinds of films except for comedy. I watch most of my films in English, but have been known to take in a foreign film or too, especially like Japanese film. I have been watching the Oscar nominated films lately and liked Slumdog Millionaire and Milk, but didn't care for Vicky Cristina Barcelona. I am going to watch the Duchess next. And on the recommendation of my younger brother I might head off to the theater and see Watchman. [Aurone]
it is good to watch movies as we all need entertainment and movies are one of the way to get entertained and it also acts as a stress relief. even i have a list of movies which i would like to watch but there is no time and i am jjust waiting to finish it up with all my pending works and then enjoy the movies along with my husband. I used to have Netflix and would watch several movies a week. Now I have a roommate that is manager of a video store and can bring home any video that is out. Some that aren't supposed to be yet. We usually watch movies several nights aweek after she gets home and we have had dinner. They range from the newest The Boy In The Striped Pajamas to Astralia. And some oldies but goodies that she has introduced me to as well. I can't think of many that I don't like. We are pretty good about choicing good ones so far. [celticeagle]
I like to get a feel for other culture. I usually watch japanese cartoons known as anime. Atleast those are my favorites. However when it comes to genre I like religous, action, philosophy, inspirational, comedy, fantasy, and sci-fi. [AeosWrathOfGod]

I will pretty much watch anything, with the exception of art house movies. It all depends what mood I'm in, some days it may be an unkown black and white flick, the next it sould be something from the 80's and then the next it could be a movie like the Godfather, which I have seen more times than I care to remember. Generally I watch at least one film a day, usually either one showing on tv or on dvd. I tend not to bother with cinema releases as the price in the UK for going to the cinema is too high for my liking. [thedailyclick]
We actually watch quite a few movies. We watch movies and TV shows on DVD rather then regular TV. We don't get any TV shows on our TV and aren't big fans of commercials anyhow. We have Netflix and seem to go through seasons of watching tons to watching a few. [aidenofthetower]
I haven't rented a movie in ages and I haven't been to a movie theater in even longer than that. I do however watch plenty of movies on the movie channels on my dish network. That's mostly all I watch is the movie channels and if there isn't any thing on there then I surf the regular channels for something to watch. I've seen a lot of movies on there that I probably wouldn't have seen otherwise by say renting or picking them out in the cinema to watch. I don't watch movies too often. Normally, I just watch one or two movies in a month in the cinema and about 4-5 times in my room whether through the internet (video streaming) or by renting/buying video DVDs. Watching movies is so relaxing and it takes me away from all the worries, hassles, and responsibilities for about an hour or two and recharges me after watching. I normally watch comedy and action movies. I'm a martial arts film freak and I watch a lot about it. I also watch a lot of sports flicks or movies that focuses on a team or an individual in a particular sport. Some of my favorites of this genre are the Rocky series by Sylvester Stallone, Cinderella Man by Russell Crowe, and Coach Carter by Samuel L. Jackson. Sports movies have a lot of moral lessons in them which are applicable not only in sports itself but life in general. [boy_bato]
I usually go out to watch movies with my brothers. We also keep a list of movies that are coming out soon. Did you mean watching movies in the theater? Because if so, I'd say that the last thing I watched on the silver screen was Bedtime Stories. But if cable and DVDs are included, then I'd say we do that frequently, though it's not everyday that there something good on the cable, plus we don't really buy DVDs on a daily basis, hehehe.. But more or less it's like 3-4 movies a week for us here at our home, as for theaters, it's like 1-2 average in a month - three months statistically speaking. happy [laydee]

Hi, icegermany! Yes, I do watch movies very frequently. I just watched, Devil's Diary last night on LMN. It was a great movie! I must have fallen asleep on it, because I did not catch the last part of what happened in the movie. That makes me so eager and curious to know what happened.. yes i can understand when we watch thrillers specially, we get this kind of eagerness and we always be eager to know whats going to happen next. i too always enjoy watching movies and comedy movies are my first option as it is a good entertainment and fun and for the moment we just forget the wories we have. The kids watch more movies than I do...so does the hubby. They usually watch while I am running around the house doing everyday housework. I watch maybe 1 per week which I guess is alot. We have all the channels here for cable, HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, Encore, etc so we have a wide variety of moives to choose from on a daily basis and then there are the Movies on Demand which we can pay to watch. We attempt to go out to a movie at least once a month. The older kids sometimes get to go more often because their gramma takes them. [callahanb78]

I do watch movies, in general with my girlfriend, and sometimes alone and i must say that at the moment we are a little behind on the movies, because we have some original movies just received, and we still have some of the older ones received that we have not yet seen - this happens because we are both at the end of our college, and we have a lot to learn. Yes i do watch movies from time to time but havent been to a cinema hall in years. In last 10 years i have been to a cinema hall only once. I usually buy or rent DVD of indian movies and watch when ever i have time. I watch may be once a week or so but not necessary that i would watch a movie every week, sometimes it is 3 or 4 in a week and sometimes may not watch for a month too. [agrim94]
yes there are posibilities that we arent free for a long time or have time frequently and depending on that we can decide to watch a movie or not. some like to watch movies on a big screen and some at home and hence it purely depends on individuals choice. i like watching movies in theatre but now there are very possibilities i watch movie in a theatre. yeah i always love to watch movies, either at home in the living room, at my friends house, or the cinemas, i love watching movies with my loved ones such as my friends and family, and its alot of fun aswell. I try go to the cinema atleast every few weeks, and i love seeing new films before they bring them out. movies are really entertaining and it relieves all ou worries for a short time and we can enjoy comedy movies and laugh for sometime and hence most people prefer to watch comedies and i also prefer that but now a days i find there are more good movies coming up and with new concept which is really a good change and we get something new to watch and know. yes it i always nice to watch movies when we are free and specially when exams are over as there we can enjoy the movie without any tension of studies, and there is no one to tell us or stop us from doing it and we can enjoy the holidays well and also the movies, so have a nice vacation and also happy mylotting. It has been a good enough time for me too because I used to watch one or two movies daily but since the day I have joined mylot I am working hard over here. The main reason for not movies is also my sister's examination due to which my parents requested me not to watch movies. I used to watch movies in three different languages English, Hindi and Marathi. I have a good collection to watch hope I will manage to watch some movies. But now I am also busy watching IPL also (Cricket from South Africa) Well I am watching movies on my PC mostly don't afford to go to theater's in this recession. lol [rakesh284]
