Harrison Ford has been in a lot of movies over the years. Starting with American Graffitti and moving on up from there doing some excellent movies. He's well known as Han Solo, Indianna Jones, or even as Dr. Richard Kimble. Are there any fans of his on here besides me that is? If so what are your favorite movies with him? Are there any of his that you don't like?
Almost all the movies I've seen him in I've enjoyed. Besides the ones listed above one of my favorites with him is Air Force One. I thought he did a fantastic job at playing the President in that movie. I liked the character he played in there as well. One movie I thought that could have been done better with him was Six days Seven Nights. It wasn't the actors so much in that but the story line itself.
For more information on what movies he has done you can check here: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000148/

You didn't mention my favorite - the one with Anne Hesche......I can't remember stuff....you know the one....the one where they are on an island.....maybe you did mention it! Is is Six Days and Seven Nights? I really love that movie if that's the one, if not, oh well, I will forget about the whole conversation in just a little bit anyway! Have a great weekend!~Donna [kitchenwitchoftupper]
Heheh yes that is Six Days and Seven Nights. I know many people loved it. For me it just seemed to be missing something. He's done a lot of movies though. It really amazes me how many at times. I also loved the ones where he played Jack Ryan, Patriot Games and Clear and Present Danger. Both were very good. [emeraldisle]
yeah, I'm a Harrison Ford fan. To me he is one of those actors that has aged gracefully. the older he got, the sexy and more distinguished he became. I'll always like him best for his Star Wars and Indiana Jones series because those were his bad boy, rough and tumble, roles. alright, can you tell I think he's sexy? [nicolec]
Just a little but then I think he is too. He has gotten better looking as he got older. Not many can do that but he has. [emeraldisle]
I like him on action/suspense/thriller pics. Patriot games, The fugitive, clear and present danger & i forgot the title of the movie he's with michelle pfeifer the horror? [stefan_diego]
What Lies Beneath. I haven't seen that one yet but I was told it was very good. I loved him in Patriot Games and Clear and Present Danger it's too bad he didn't do the original as well, Hunt For Red October. I think he does a far better job as Jack Ryan then Alec Baldwin did. [emeraldisle]
OH yeh,Six Days Seven Nights was awful. I was so disappointed in that because I'm a big fan of both Harrison Ford and Anne Heche. It was the writing -- it was just boring. My favorite two of his movies were The Fugitive and Raiders of the Lost Ark. They were just so nonstop exciting! I'm also a big fan of Tommy Lee Jones, so that added appeal to the Fugitive for me, also. I'm glad you mentioned Air Force One because that was a favorite of mine as well and I had forgotten the title. Duh. My memory really slips these days. [cremechese]
I loved the Fugitive. He was great in that. I'm so glad Alec Baldwin turned it down and he took it. He's done that with a few of Baldwin's movies :) Ford and Jones were great in that. I also liked US Marshels with Tommy Lee Jones even if Ford wasn't in it. It was a good sequel. [emeraldisle]
I love Harrison Ford!!! I have always thought he was a wonderful actor!!! Of course, I loved him in Indiana Jones. LOL But I also absolutely loved him in the movie Sabrina. He was very seductive. :) Have you seen that movie? I would love to see it released on DVD to add to my movie collection. [brokentia]
Sabrina is out on DVD. In fact I think I saw it at Wal-Mart in their sale area for $4.88. It was either there or over in the $5.50 bin but can't remember for sure. I just remember seeing it and that was the two areas I was looking in. [emeraldisle]
I adore Harrison Ford! I think he is great in any thing he stars in. He was wonderful in Firewall. I still chuckle when I think of him as Han Solo when he said "laugh it up Fuzzball" to Chewbacca. He was just so cute and young. He has grown more distinguished with the years. I heard a rumor that he was going to do another Indiana Jones movie soon. I can't wait to see his next offering. [Trace86]

Harrison Ford is one of my favorite actors too. I love the Indiana Hones trilogy! I had such a blast with it. The one where he looses his memory... hmmm, something like Regarding Henry or something, at the beginning I was a little disappointed, but later I liked it better. Has he been in any movie with Julia Roberts yet? I can't remember. I liked him also with the character of the CIA, Jack Ryan. And his romantic stuff, like Sabrina or Working girl... definetly a great actor! [berlinlife]
He is a good actor and I like his movies, including a rarely mentioned Mosquito Coast, though he did a good job the only thing I didn't feel fit was his doing the character of of Jack Ryan in the Patriot Games, and Clear and Present Danger, while he did a good job, I was still kind of stuck because I read the books, with thinking that they needed to keep using Alec Baldwin. Though he did a great job in those movies, and the problems with Patriot Games were due to the script changes not the actors. [nowment]
I liked many of his movies, including 6 Days, 7 Nights. I remember seeing American Graffitti in the theater. I loved it at the time and still watch it once in a while. I had no idea that he would go on to be such a huge star. He certainly has made his mark. I like K-19 and the Indiana Jones series better than Star Wars. I can even recall seeing his very first movie, Dead Heat on a Merry-Go-Round at the theater. He was uncredited, an I can't recall to much about the movie. For all the success he has had, I would have thought he would made a few more movies over the years. [sigma77]
i don't know him but it sounds good. [akiraz]
I am another Harrison fan.I just bought "Firewall" and it's pretty good.My favorite of his though is "The Devil's Own".How can you go wrong with him and Brad Pitt in the same movie?!There's been a lot of his movies I haven't seen, but I'm sure they are good because all of them I have seen I liked. Stephanie [dragonryder]
I want to see The Devil's Own. I've just missed it. I'm going to have to check into it though. You're right, how can you go wrong with those two? [emeraldisle]
air force one is where i really find him great. ofcourse he's great in indiana jones but i am not an indiana jones fan. i can also remember him in han solo. but too old a film. so, it was wheni saw him in airforce one, i got really to like his act there. and isn't he also in starwars? correct me if i am wrong. but i do think he is there, too. harrison ford did lots of nice films. and i do have a collection of his films. i also like his hollywood homicide film. it's so funny! [maryannemax]
Han Solo was who he played in Star Wars, he played in the original triology. [emeraldisle]
I dont know if I have a FAVORITE! I think he is really funny. I think I love him best tie between indiana jones & star wars! I love him as Indiana its hilrious cause he is really funny and sarcastic. I seem to like those who are like me (sarcastic!). All the movies, except I think I didnt like Firewall. All the others he was a great actor in them. I think he is a wonderful actor to watch. I hope he keeps making movies cause he is really great! I am a fan as well :)) [monkeywriter]
I will be Han Solo's Princess Leia anytime. [rogue13xmen13]
I'm a Harrison Ford fan too. I loved him as Indiana Jones and Jack Ryan. Even at his age i still think he's one of the sexiest men in hollywood. [lvap0628]
He'll always be Han Solo to me!! *grins big* I love Harrison Ford! It's amazing that there are those actors who can still mesmerize you, even when they're getting old. =p I've liked a lot of his movies, though of course as a nerd I have to say Star Wars is the best. Or something like that. Actually I really loved "The Devil's Own", which I often hear accused of being really bad. Guess I have strange taste. [lecanis]
He was prefect as Han Solo. I cannot imagine another actor playing him and to think Lucas didn't want him in the role. Of course he didn't want him in the role as Indianna either but he did both and really made them special. I haven't seen the Devil's Own but I'd like to. [emeraldisle]
Yes he is one of my favourite actor too. I heard that Steven is getting him to involved in the Indiana Jones movies Part 4. Anyone hear about this too? [chuat8]
I have to agree Harrison Ford has done a lot of really good movies. I also agree about 6 days 7 nights. It left a lot to be desired. I'm really looking forward to the next Indiana Jones movies that is in the near future. [renonanapam]
Harrison Ford is also on the list of my favorite actors. I find him always giving justice to the role he is playing. The ones i liked most are The Fugitive, Air Force One and Clear & Present Danger. The last one i watched was Firewall. Of all his movies that i've watched, it's also Six Days Seven Nights that i liked the least but the factor there is not his acting but the plot. [dunetrekker]
Harrison Ford was my idol from the childhood with it's amazing Indiana Jones for this it will remain in my heart forever as being the hero of my childhood [cr1st1nel]
I love this man...in fact, he's my one and only favorite actor. I will constantly watched some of his previous movies like The Fugitive and Air Force One. No matter how many times I watched, I will keep watching it over and over again. He acted with such intensity and passion that moviegoers come to know him. He's terrific. [charms88]
Harrison Ford (born July 13, 1942) is an Academy Award-nominated American actor. He is best known for his performances as the tough, wisecracking space pilot Han Solo in the Star Wars film series, and the adventurous, tenacious archaeologist/action hero Indiana Jones of Raiders of the Lost Ark and its sequels. Ford has also been the star of many high-grossing hit Hollywood blockbusters such as Air Force One and The Fugitive, which have distanced him from his famous Star Wars and Indiana Jones roles. At one point Ford had roles in the top five box-office hits of all time. Five of his films have been inducted into the National Film Registry. As of September 2006, the combined domestic box office grosses of Ford's films total approximately US$3.10 billion [1], with worldwide grosses approaching the US$6 billion mark, making Ford the #2 all-time box-office star behind Tom Hanks. [benedict1023]
I too like Harrison Ford, I loved the Star wars and Indiana Jones Trilogies when I was a kid and now the Jack Ryan movies. He is an actor you can definiately grow old with! [nglanfield]
I prefer him in American Grafitti, Star Wars and the Indiana Jones series. I'm not into the drama so much, but I am sure he is excellent in them. His rugged good looks are lovely to watch. [Bee1955]
I loved AirForce One and Sabrina. But I didn't like Firewall that much because I kinda felt so much was lacking in that film. [vianneivanne]

Always one of my favourites, especially in starwars when I was kid. Raiders of the ark was an absolutely great series too and I liked his humour in these the best. After that, the movies I saw were more serious and he became a very serious sensitive character in his movies... like in 'the fugitive' and 'presumed innocent' I know I have seen such great movies of his and over and over on the movie channel but cannot remember the names. Let me just say that if it has Harrison Ford in it, it will get my attention! [fjaril]
great tip!! thankyou!! [fjaril]
I like Harrison Ford and I think he is a terrific actor, I liked his Star War's movies the best, I have not seen Six Days and Seven night but he was great to in his Indiana Jones movies. [Celanith]
My favourite Harrison Ford movie will always be Witness. The storyline, the music, his co-actors and his acting make the film a classic. [mobyfriend]
He is a really great actor. He's one of my hubby's favorites. I really like Air Force One and Firewall. Those I suppose are my favorites of his. Other than Star Wars of course. I agree that he played a very convincing President. My husband would say his favorite Ford movies would be Star Wars and Indiana Jones. As far as dislikes I don't think that I've seen one that I just didn't like. All the ones I've seen have been good. I have to admit I haven't seen all that many (looking at his list). Thanks for the link - it made it alot easier just to click it :) [GnosticGoddess]
I love imdb.com for information on people and movies. It makes it a lot easier to find something about them and to share the information. I agree I haven't seen all of his movies but the majority of them I have liked. Even the couple where the storylines weren't the best he was always good. [emeraldisle]
