I have done that once as the movie I was watching was way disgusting, I was happy to get out of the theatre.Have anyone done like that before,if so which movie was that.I really felt bad for wasting my money for watching that worthless movie.Thats why I feel its best to watch the movie after going through its rating. If you rush to watch it on the first day,you may have to get out of the hall in the middle of the movie itself.Give your experience.

no i never did that i try to check the rating and see what it is about before i go now i been too a movie that sucks but i say to myself annjilena just get throgh it and i don,t watch it again. [annjilena]
Thanks annjilena! That was really a bad experience for you.I wonder how come you sat there for the 90minutes until the movie was over.Do you remember the movie name?If so share it.Happy mylotting. [divinchris]
The only movie I recall walking out on was Godfather part two. It was incredibly boring! Maybe it was my age or mentality at the time, but the beginning just seemed like it would never end, so i left happy [fwidman]
Thanks fwidman!I have not seen that movie was it that boring. It really feel at times that the movie wont end at all.Cheers.Happy mylotting [divinchris]
hi.. i never went to any movie which is not good. i always ask other or see reviews before i go to movies. so i never came out of the theatre while watching or in the middle of movie. once i came of the movie show before intermission itself, not because of the movie but i got a emergency call from my home while watching movie with my friends! that was the first and last time! cheers:) [meenunapa]
Thanks meenunapa! Its best to watch the movie reviews before stepping in to the movie theatre. Then there will be no need for you us to get out of the movie hall.Cheers to you.Happy mylotting [divinchris]
I did only once and never will I do it again. It was during the movie "Phantom Of The Opera". My husband and I went to watch the movie with a bunch of youths. But halfway we walked out and some of the youths followed us. In my opinion its a bad movie, the songs the storyline. But nowadays we hardly go to movie anymore anyway because the price of one ticket has gone up. So we just settke with television and dvds. [eagle_f15]
Thanks eagle_f15!Its true that the tickets have gone up,but watching movies in theatre can not be compared with those seen in television and dvds.Cheers to you.happy mylotting. [divinchris]
Yes I have. It was on board ship and they were showing the first James Bond. I had never seen one before. I think I stuck it for about 10 minutes. I was bored to tears. It was easy to leave and go back to our cabin. My husband stayed on and thoroughly enjoyed the film. I have never watched a James Bond film to this day. [Anomalie]
To Each His Own manishgolcha! [Anomalie]
Nope. But I wish I had. Hehe. You know. I felt the same when I was watching "Subramaniyapuram". I just felt like coming out. But unfortunately couldn't do that. Hehe. Because my brother liked the movie. And he was watching. Hehe. And for many other movies also I have felt that. I will feel like that if the film is full of fights. I just hate films like that. [vidhyavini]
Hehe. Good boy. [vidhyavini]
I did, just because it was super boring and felt I was wasting my time. Strangely, this was a highly acclaimed movie that was rated very well. It was "Catch me if you can." I think it even won a few rewards. But I could not stay during the entire thing! Waste of my money. Usually I will stay no matter what because I paid so much for the movie anyways. [TheHawkBat]
Thanks everyone!Catch me If you can is really a good movie. But there are a few movies which are really waste to watch in a movie theatre. [divinchris]
no never. actually before going for a movie i prefer to read reviews from various websites and if review is good then i go for a movie otherwise i prefer to skip that movie. [manishgolcha]
the movie name is ?? [manishgolcha]
Back when I was a teen, my best friend and I went every week to what we called the "cheapie movies". A local theater had 2nd run movies for $1. Sometimes it was a movie that was successful but was ending at the regular theaters and sometimes they were the short-lived kinds of movies. Some were "hits" and some were "misses". We always stayed for the whole movie except one time. It was a British horror flick which I cannot remember the title of. It was WAY too gross for me. Hey, for a dollar, who cares? I was fun sitting through even the bad movies because the best part of these excursions was sitting and having pop afterwards and dissecting the films. Or in the case of a really bad one, tearing it apart! [rocketj1]
Thanks rocketj1!Nice comments.Cheers to all movie lovers.Happy mylotting [divinchris]
Yes, Many movies that I saw with my parents! When we went to an R, we never expected so much sex scenes or violence. A couple times is reasonable but non-stop throughout the movies. R should be an R, not a soft porno! Don't embarrass the patrons who paid to get in an R movie. I also do not appreciate all the booty and breasts when I am at a movie with my boyfriend. If I wanted all that I would take him to the damn strip club! I go to an action R movie, expect blood or violence then end up gettin a damn strip show I did not ask for. Great, now I have to live with those images in my man's mind. No wonder us average real breasted size 7 women become insecure. [janellebello]
I've never walked out but there have been a few where I couldn't wait to leave. I couldn't because I was with other people. So I either zoned out or fell asleep. At the top of the list is As Good As It Gets. We weren't originally going to see it but all the other movies we wanted to see were sold out or had already started. I wish we had just left instead. I know a lot of people love that movie and it won Oscars but I absolutely hated it. There were a couple of funny bits but for the most part, it was boring and dragged on. The seats are the kind where you can lift the armrests out of the way, so I pushed those back and laid down a bit to get comfortable. The purpose was to take a nap but unfortunately I couldn't fall asleep. [Reesers]
Thanks Reesers!Nice commments.Sometimes that happen my mistake, that we would be forced to see some other movies. That may have some tragic end s like that too.Cheers to all.happy mylotting [divinchris]
Yes. I did this once because the movie was basically making fun of people with apparently low intelligence and socail skill. Since I work with developmentally disabled adults this offended me. [HappyFeats1]
Nice to hear your experience Happyfeats1!A few movies were of that origin, the best way is to watch out for the movie review before stepping in there. [divinchris]
oh, i don't do this before, and i think i will not do that. the ticket is more and more dear, and i will choose a good movie before i go to the cinema, and in my hometown, they play a few movie everyday, and all the movies are good. [yyfrancine]
Thanks yyfrancine for your comment.Yup always the ticket is more dear.Cheers to all movie lovers.Happy mylotting [divinchris]
I really done this many times. The first time was when I was watching a suspense thriller movie, when I see the crap spitting out of the eye a person, I left my sit and went outside as I'm craving to eat my dinner when I see that nasty crap coming out of the eye when he cuts the veins. The other time when I got an urgent call from the office that require immediate attention during the holiday, I ran my way out of the theatre. [iceblizzard]
Thanks iceblizzard!Nice to hear your worst experience inside the theatre.Cheers to all movie fans.Happy mylotting [divinchris]
I have walked out once before. It was an extemely irratating movie and every other word was a curse word. I, being raised extremely baptist, am shocked to even hear one curse word a year. I was insulted by not only the language, but also the nudity. I'm sorry but last I new, nudity in movies was rated xxx. That I am NOT okay with. I left in the middle of the movie so insulted and upset. It felt like a waste of money and the manager said he had actually walked out of the movie with his wife a day earlier. He GAVE MY MONEY BACK!! I was shocked because they don't do anything like that anymore. I will be sure to read about every movie before I see it from now on. [txcheerleadr90]
Oh!That was really a bad experience for you.Hope you won't ever watch some nasty movie like that again.Cheers to all!Happy mylotting [divinchris]
i havent tried yet. i mean what's the point? if you dont finish a movie, for me, its like never ever to have watched a part of it. so as long as i could, i would try my best to finish it :) [nicecedron]
Thanks nicecedron for your comment.Sometimes its not worthy to see that movie, then I feel its nothing wrong in getting out of the hall. [divinchris]
I have done that only once too. I left the theater partly because I was in a rush to somewhere else (the movie was unexpectedly long) and partly because I didn't enjoy the movie as much as my friends. The movie is called Sex and the City. I know many people enjoy it but I somehow do not like it that much. [poohgal]
Apparently I did though I don't recall. When I was a young child my parents took me to see "Song of the South". I hated is so much and complained so bitterly about it, that my parents got up and left with me. I don't remember this at all. I went to see a movie once with a girlfriend that I would have left had I been a lone. It was "Natural Born Killers". I hated that movie. I knew with in 10 minutes that I was not going to like it and I wanted to leave, but the girlfriend seemed to be enjoying it, so I stayed and suffered. [DarkDancer]
Thanks DarkDancer!Happy to see your response.God Bless all [divinchris]
hi there. i usually wait till the review about the movie is out and if i feel it's really good, i go to the movie. even if it's going to be my favorite star's movie i would rather wait for the rating. after all we do wait patiently till the movie gets released. what's it going to take to wait a little longer. i have seen some people who just like to go to the first show of their favorite star's movie. they just don't care how the movie is. happy mylotting. [chinniR]
Thanks chinniR!I go agree with you.Happy mylotting [divinchris]
I normally don't do that. That is because I, normally, go to any movie, only after doing some research about it. However, sometimes we are forced to do the same as you have done. As far as I remember, I did this once for some rally bad movie. It is very old incident and I am not able to recall the name of movie. [suruchi86]
Thanks suruchi86!Happy to hear from you.Its true that some times we are forced to move out of the theatre if the movie is bad. [divinchris]
Yeah you got that one head on right. If you don't think the movie is worth it, walk out. Why would you force yourself to agonize on a movie that didn't meet your expectations. In my experience, I don't rush to watch the next new movie in town, I wait till I get to see the reviews first. But things happen all the time you know, it's not just how bad the movie was, maybe you walked out from it because you left the house without locking it, or you had an emergency call, or you left the kettle boiling in the kitchen or left the water running in the tub. And yes it maybe a bit awkward for some to have to go thru the row of seats and thru the hall, but hey it's your right to walk out. The only time I walked out on a movie was when my girlfriend got horny and dragged me out to her house. Happy MyLotting! [wolveren]
It's my pleasure divinchris! Happy MyLotting! Cheerios! [wolveren]
No, I never walked out in the middle of the movie, but yes 2-3 times I did had a nap during movie as I was getting too bored. My husband was with me and he was enjoying the movie, but since I was not liking, I dozed off. After a while my hubby woke me up as he was getting embarassed seeing people around looking at me. [comfort55]
Thanks for your valuable response.Nice to hear from you that you slept while watching that movie.Happy mylotting [divinchris]
Actually yes I have walked out on a movie before. When I was a child my parents were very protective over what my sister and I saw in movies and on TV. We rarely went to the theater, and when we did it was always a G movies or PG movie. When I was ten my parents took me to see a PG movie, and it seemed like a harmless one. But then the cursing started, and one inappropriate gesture later and my parents stood up and walked out with my sister and I in tow. I respect them for that. [AmbiePam]
Wow, that's very protective! w00t rasp [lordwarwizard]
Hi divinchris, Sure I have. But only once that I recall... movie tickets are expensive these days so no playing "tantrums" anymore lol. rasp Once, long ago, I went for a movie that is supposed to be about martial arts. I was anticipating actions and a nice plot... but in the end, I was appalled that it was actually a documentary show. I honestly can't believe a documentary was shown in the cinemas. But oh well, that was many years back. I walked out of that movie half way and so did many people - and there was just a small handful to start with. rasp [lordwarwizard]
Thanks lordwizard!I see a handful of people have walked out of the movie theatres in the half way mark.Happy mylotting. [divinchris]
I have only went to the theatre once and didn't care for the experience so have never gone back . I found the prices terribly high , found the seats were so close togehter that my husband spent the entire movie complaining that he couldn't get comfortable and because both my husband and I smoke , I couldn't wait to get out for a cigarette . I would never waste my money to go again . I would rather wait til it comes out on dvd and watch it at home . Whole lot cheaper and much more comfortable :) [samtaylorskykierajen]
Thanks for your response.Happy mylotting [divinchris]
We did have to walk out during kung fu panda b/c my daughter was making alot of noise asking questions and stuff so everyone else wouldn't of enjoyed the movie so we walked out before we got asked to leave lol. [mflower2053]
That was really cool!So you missed that movie.Nice to hear your experience, happy mylotting. [divinchris]
Hmmm I haven't done that but there are a lot movies that disgusted me before. What I usually do is I just sleep until it finishes or I just continue watching it so that at least I know what to tell everybody when they asked me what happened. [yuna15]
Thats true Yuna15.Happy to hear that you still watch the movie in order to respond to your friends.Thats good.Happy mylotting. [divinchris]
I didnt walk out of the watching movie. I alwys go for the moviewhich has high ratings. Otherwise it is a waste of money and time. I always watch movies knowing its titles or little bit of its story or after seeing its advertisement. blindly going and watching a movie is worthless. I do take care of this things. But now mostly i dont go to theatre i watch at home on TV. happy posting and take care. [nini89]
Thanks nini89!Happy to hear your response.Happy mylotting [divinchris]
