Have You Ever Watched A Movie That Made You Cry

I'm watching the movie Deep Impact, and it's making me want to cry towards the end. It's at the part where the astranuts are telling their loved ones goodbye. They were sacrificing their lives for the good of Earth by using their shuttle to blow up the comet. THe part that makes me want to cry is the part where Oren, the guy who goes blind, is telling his wife and newborn son, goodbye. His wife was pregnant when he left for space. This means that the son would never know his father, and vice versus. I guess it hits me hard because it makes me think of my son. He has his father and everything, but it's still hits you hard.

I have couple of them... Ill start with "Braveheart". First time I watched that movie I cried because it reminds on my dad. Also that is one of my favorite movies. Every time I watch it my eyes are full of tears. Another one is "Hotel Rwanda", because it is based on a true story. I have a friend how is from Liberia and the same thing happened to his family. Only after I met him I realized what was happening and what is still happening in Africa. "Armageddon" is similar to "Deep Impact" when Bruce Willis stays instead of Ben Affleck telling him that he has to take care of his daughter. [lucas10odak]

Well, I am a person who easily cry when I read any articles or watch any movies that are touching. I still remember the first movie that made me cry, is a Chinese movie. It's about a poor kid, he is really talented in drawing, but the drawings are not accepted by most teachers, as they think it's nonsense. If I'm not mistaken, he colored the sun blue color, where the teachers thought it doesn't make sense. Only one teacher thinks, this is the kid's world, and he is being creative and he has his own reason to make that drawing. He submitted the drawing to a contest, and finally the drawing has won him the best reward, in the whole country. But, too bad, the kid is dead. I really felt sad and cried sadly while I was watching the movie. And I remember since then, I always cry easily when I'm watching any movies. lol [kaka135]

I have watched this movie a few times ago. It's very moving and I also dropped my tears to it. In fact many movies have made me cried, I am very emotional when I am watching the movie. I love China [youless]

I am a very emotional type of a person and I always cry when I watch any good emotional scene. The movies I do remember when I cried will be Titanic and Braveheart. Those two movies really made me very emotional and wasn't able to sleep at night for a few days after watching these two movies. [coolcat123]

Yes I do. The romantic movie TITANIC. I love the film and I almost melted during the climax... Thanks for posting... [mailtoramesh]

Oh there's a loads i have watched. There is one i am really touched in titled "If Only" ...i tell you it is really touching and it really made me cry. Its like a de javu thing and it really thought people a lesson that life is too short and that in life while you have the chance you have to show your love and let the people around you especially your love one feel that they are really important. I remember i had made a discussion about that couple of years ago. [cheenlly]

Hi There! Yes, there are lots of movies that I watched that brought tears to my eyes… One movie that I like until now is My Best Friend's wedding. It was very simple movie but enticing and entertaining at the same time, it gives realization to other people who are in that situation… of being a best friend then loving them more than just a friend. It was really sweet… Yep… I moved on after watching that movie… Happy Mylotting and Merry Christmas! Cheers! [jesbellaine]

yes, when i watched a movie ,i cried many times.i impressed many times by the movies.though many movies arenot true, but i still moved by the circumstances and the performers. [septemberxue]

I must admit that there are a few movies that i have watched that have made me cry but the latest one was the bucket list. It really brought a whole bundle of emotions into my mind. Just the thought of how short life is and not just that but how sometimes acquiring money isn't the most important thing in life. I personally am a rather spiritual person but i have a hard time focusing on the right things and keeping it in my mind that a life used for nothing else but the acquisition of earthly wealth is no real life at all. Great story and the end was so well done when morgan freeman dies i couldn't help but cry when nicholson spoke in church. Great movie!!! [sqyntz2008]

I've cried in movies lots of times. I got the DVD of Mamma Mia for Christmas. It's a film that makes you both laugh and cry. I cried at the part where mother and daughter are together getting ready for the wedding (of the daughter) and looking back over the years, singing a beautiful song about when a daughter moves on. My husband did too. It reminded me of when we were both newly single and dating, and we took our young children to see ET. When he cried at the end along with the rest of us was the point when I knew he was the man for me. [jakill]

yes in my life once i cried from my heart and eyes, some months back i saw a movie, bollywood movie "tare zameen par", really a great movie , its actually about a child who doesnt know how to study, till his 5th class, after a long time one hero comes as a teacher and teaches him......his parents always punishes him , without knowing the reason , but this teacher undstnd the prob and teaches him.....great movie ...got many awards.......thank you Aamir khan, the actor and director of the film...... [shaiksultan]

hello CRSunrise, there were a lot of movies that made me cry while watching on it. I think i even cried while watching an animated film. i an very soft hearted when it comes to sad movies and my heart is easily touched. It would be to long to mention each of these movies but definitely it has touched my heart. Happy Mylotting!!! [kenchiprincess]

yea, and it was passion of the christ. i dont necessarily agree with subject of matter, but the way they believe jesus was beaten was quite moving. but that was four year ago. the only one time i truly cried in a movie [ahmadia]

one movie that made me cry is A WALK TO REMEMBER!...because it kinda remember me of my ex. and the time that it was showed in theaters, that;s the time that she broke up with me. i really cried...and the movie ended up not a typical love story also you know, so that adds up my loneliness. =( [manixxx]

I think many times, I get carried away easily on movies. but there's this one comedy movie that made me cry. do you know Click? It's Adam SAndler's. It's a good one. [ivygrey]

A walk to remember - never fails to make me cry. yeah, i liked deep impact too, especially the part where tea leoni is hugging her dad by the beach, while a huge wave comes right at them. [hey_baby]

I cry at movies all the time. Heck I can cry at a mushy commercial. LOL I was watching a movie a couple of weeks ago called "Dear Zachary" based upon the true story of an infant and his father, who were murdered by the infant's mother. I haven't cried that much watching a movie in a long long time. [TessWhite]

All of the time. lol I watched The Guardian not long ago and it made me bawl at the end. My husband thinks I'm nuts ("It's just a movie") but I can't help it. I cried when they shot Old Yeller and I bawl at other movies like that, as well. I'm a softie, what can I say? lol [lisado]

yeah it was the movie kite runner and the movie savin private ryan it was mostly cuz of all my cousin with tears in teh eyes happy lotting and have a nice day [thecrazyjogger]

I can remember one movie that makes me cry everytime I watch it. Tearms of Endearment with a couple leading ladies Shirley MacLaine and Julia Roberts. This movie is so funny I cried and this movie is so real I cried. If you ever had someone close to you suffering an illness, that if jeopardized could kill them, you would know part of why this movie made me cry. Yes, Julia Roberts had one kidney and a bad at that, she still wanted to become pregnant. Everyone advising her not to, her father giving her a kidney this all made me sob. The ending made me sob the hardest. If you like a tear jerker this is number one on my list. wahshe [she972]

I guess I have seen a few of those so called tearjerkers! Here's me a quiet chap admitting that I shed a tear or two when I watch those melodramas, what's going on? Well, I guess it's perfectly acceptable to shed a tear or two. Some of these movies really touch on real life events! When you have been affected in anyway and a movie shows similar things then it can become quite difficult to remain composed! I remember Deep Impact and I suppose I was a little emotional for that one! Andrew [AndrewFreyne]

There are many movies that make me cry. With some of them, it seems silly that they would make me cry, but they do. The movie "Ghost" makes me cry every time, even if I only watch the last scene. "Sleepless in Seattle" also makes me cry every time. There are many others, but I think the list is too long to atttempt to list them all here. [lynnemg]

Watching the movie/play Rent makes me cry everytime I watch it. and the 3rd high school musical movie makes me cry. [jiffys_frog_woman]

yes i also can't help to cry when watching some moving movies. it really makes me cry , but i don't remember their names anymore..does the movie you named is "deep impact"? i will search and watch it somedays... [celebratelifeh]

I don't normally cry while watching movie. But it hits me hard when watching one scene of Forrest Gump. The scene that his son gave a letter to the his demised wife. He just put the letter on the grave. It is so sad. Forrest still acts dumb even in his most difficult time of his life. But through the movie, I was laughing. [azlimuna]

Yes, I had watched a movie that made me cry from beginning to end. The story is about a guy with special needs who worked hard, had a kid and the girlfriend who was normal left her with their baby. It wasn't easy letting the baby grow up but he really did his best in rearing the baby. The kid grew up and she accepted him of he was. It was a blessing she grow up as a normal child. The welfare tried their to take her away from him because of his being special but his being a good father had pushed him to follow wherever she was. It was so touching! My eyes were swelling.
