If you watched the Mummy 3 already, how do you think about it? In my opinion, at the beginning it's good, but then it's so so. There is no more big surprise. Although the technology is good, but somewhat the storyline is a little bit old. In some parts it doesn't make a sense anyway.
In 1989 there is a Chinese movie called Qin Yong and I think it's better than the Mummy 3. They are similar but Qin Yong is much more moving. It has some sad, humor, happy parts. The ending is very meaningful and it's hard to judge whether it's a sad or happy ending.

Yes i have watched the muumy 3 and its quite good and you said the story is predictable and there are no twist and turns in the story but special effects was really great including the one when the dragon emperor changed into a real dragon and the battle scenes of the imperial army and the army of the general that opposed the dragon emperor.i hope your satisfied with my response.have anice day. Well it was no where near the legue of the previous mummy movies. Well i can say that they could have kept someone much better than jet li to be the mummy becasue no matter how amazing actor jet li can be , i can say that , He couldnt act like a mummy and he has a smiling face and mummies dont smile at all. Hehehe. Well that was the main thing about that movie. Ther fight scene between jet li and that immortal chinease aunty was damm kool. That wa a nice scence. Well the movie had humour and all but i thik the mummmy movies should be kept till egypt and all.It shouldnt have been brought to china. I am very much looking forward in going to see it my friend! I loved the first two films, there's something about Brendan Fraser that I find appealing in more ways than one, I am so glad that John Hannah isn't in the film, he was so annoying in the other films! This one certainly looks good judging by the trailers, just have to find someone to go with, I don't like going to the cinema on my own, weird isn't it! I think it's quite common that people don't want to go to the cinema alone. In fact it's somewhat embarrassing because usually they will be family, lovers and couples in the cinema. [youless]

I myself haven't watched the 3rd one yet but my son has and he said that it was really good so I am going to sit down and watch it when I get the time because I couldn't wait to watch the 1st movie because I had already read the book and I loved it so I really loved forward to the movies when they came out, I haven't heard of the movie Qin Yong but you have got me interested now and so I am going to google it now and see what I can find out about and yeah if it looks good too will have to get a copy of that one as well and watch it too... I agree that the first part was good. But, I find the story a bit chummy especially when the face of Michelle Yeo and the General appeared on the sand blown by the wind. Hehehe It was so so compared to the first two Mummy movies. Come to think of it, so the term "Mummy" refers to any preserved body eh? I wonder if they'd make a Mummy movie from the preserved bodies here in Benguet Province, Philippines. [mimingsi]

Yes. I saw Mummy 3 a while back. Honestly, I was not that much impressed with it. I liked the first Mummy series way better. This 3rd sequel did not have anything new and great to offer. It was just typical. Even the punchline jokes weren't that funny. Overall, it was just an a-okay movie. It was not that bad, but not great either. [MariaD]

Mummy 3 is nothing compared to its predecessors. Without Jet Li and Michelle Yeo it will be a boring movie. Especially when they focus on the son of Brendan Frasier in the movie who is so arrogant yet stupid looking. What happened to that cute boy in the mummy returned movie and Rachelle Weisz? I read that Rachelle didn't like the script or was it because of her child. Whatever her reasons is I think the movie would be quite better if she was there and the little boy too. I think they should stick on the Egypt thing where I could see Ardeth Bay. [rhyannefranz]

Hi youless, I haven't watched the Mummy 3 yet as I'm still waiting my son back to pass me the DVD. I always watch movies that my son passes to me lol. My son is a big fan of movie and always likes to buy new DVD movies. Yeah, I had watched the Chinese movie, Qin Yong before and it's really a wonderful and attractive movie. I like the popular director Zhang Yimou and he is also famous in directing part of the summer Beijing Olympic opening ceremony program. I did, youless. It's a good idea to introduce Chinese culture into the moives, such as Kung Fu Panda and Mission: Impossible III. But this time, it was not succeed apparently. It's not the Chinese elements but the stale storyline spoiled this movie. And calling the Qin Yong as mummy is also unbefitting. [Boatter]

Hello there youless, I've watched Mummy 3 in cinemas around last month, I think and personally, I would go for Mummy 1 and 2. The part 3 is alright, but the mysteriousness is not there like in parts 1 and 2. Another thing would be that I wish for a more awesome ending. The mom died in the end and that's a real bummer. Wish she could have lived or something. And the gorgeous Chinese girl died too, right..? I give it around 7 upon 10. Pretty alright, but could have been better. That's what I think. [zed_k4]

Yes. I just watched it 2 days ago. The movie was okay. I have never watch any of the Mummy one and two before. Mummy 3 was my first. Not bad the movie and now I am going to watch Mummy 1 and 2 and soon as the downloading finishes. It's a bit lie Indian Jones - boobytraps and archeology. [eagle_f15]

Well, i watch it with my family at home. The story line in the beginning is very exciting but throughout the end, it's a bit too rush to end the story. And they're parts that i think quite ridiculous. Like why Michelle Yeoh read the curse in English when she trying to wake the "chinese" dead people? And why eternal life means "changing shape" too? I think MUMMY 3 is the dumbest movie i have seen from Hollywood.. The best Chinese action hero is doing a nuisance sort of fight in the movie... Also replacing the old actress was a bad part on the movie.. Watch Troy,Armageddon,Mindhunter and u will feel the change. [mindhunterpk]

What is new. The only thing I like about this movie is the new take on the Great wall of China and the Terracotta Soldiers.
