Do you watch movies only on television or do you like to go to theatres to see the moveis. My husband and I would go for a move every fortnight to a theatre. After he expired I did not step into a theatre for over 8 years. A couple of months back my kids took me to a theatre for a movie TAARE ZAMEEN PAR. It was a hindi movie about a dsylexic child. Enjoyed watching this movie and now my daughter is planning another movie this month. In eight years all the theatres have turned into multiplexes and will be going to a multiplex this month. Where do you watch your movies? What kind of movies do you like watching?

Me and my husband hardly ever get to go out to a theater to see a movie.Due to having to find a babysitter for our to young kids(4years old and 3 years old).We do most of the time find someone to watch them but i would rather watch movies at home.As I can watch the movies in my pajamas if I want to and be comfortablenot ot mention the popcorn, snacks and pop is cheaper when you watch a movie at home.Although I love the movie popcorn. [Carrie26]
I too am not in favour of watching movie from the computer. The theatre is much more fun. [mayka123]
Hi dear well i never went to theatre or cinerma to watch the movies as i dont like too much crowd, and cinema are too loud as well I am not much into watcing movies, before we had VCR at hme now have CP Players, Computer and cable available so i watch it at TV, i have watched the Movie Tare Zameen per after lof of insistance from friend and sure it was good movie. other than that i dont think so i have watched any movie in one stretchhappy i like see see HBO and Star Movies as u can enjoy movie in 100 mins Take care and wish u all the best for next trip to Multiplex [cupid74]
I usually watch movies in the cinemas. My last movie in the theater was yesterday evening. happy It's a Japanese movie called '10 Promises to my Dog'. It's a nice but sad movie. Anyway, on the average I watch around 2 movies per month. That works out to be 24 movies per year in the theater. I'll sometimes watch movies online. I prefer watching animes online. lol [poohgal]
I love cartoons.. especially Japanese animes. I love sad movies too. I enjoy comedies. I enjoy war movies too. Actually, I like all types of movies except romance. [poohgal]
I think some 100... I too saw TZP I liked it... [blackhole]
not all in theatres some in home and nearly 50 in theatres.... I too like tat kid a lot... [blackhole]
Up to the point when we still didn't have a child, my hubby and I used to watch every week. Sometimes even twice if there were more than 1 good movie to watch. When I gave birth, we abruptly stopped and literally switched to DVDs. Nowadays we still try to watch a movie once every 2 months, I think. if there's really something good to watch, we make it a point to see it. We love comedy action and sci-fi films. [jammyt]
Thanks for your reply. I agree once the kids come out outings decrease. Have a nice time and happy mylotting. [mayka123]
hi dear i watch atleast two movies a week if anything good and worthwhile latest that i saw was Thoda Pyar Thoda Magic Saif is hoooottt and Rani is so very cute and The Incredible hulk..i liked both ..i wish in Indian animation we could do as well as the english animation..we have a long way to go as far as animation movies are concerned..we go to multiplexes only bcoz my son does not sit in one place so there is enough space for him and it is less crowded.. [nupats]
Since you say its not that great I think I will avoid seeing this one [mayka123]
Me and my partner hardly ever go out to the cinema we may go once or twice a year if we are lucky. We prefer to watch dvds at home we like nothing more to cuddle up on the sofa and watch a good film. We enjoy watching a good horror or thriller. We also enjoy sitting down as a family and watching family film. [littleone3]
Thanks for your reply. Everyone is complaining of theatres being too expensive nowadays. Enjoy yourself and have fun. Happy mylotting. [mayka123]
I like to watch action movies, one of my favorite is The last castle. I am much comfortable purchasing movies in retailers (odessey). My wife and I enjoys love stories, horror, drama, comedy and action. [quicksilver_shoti19]
Welcome to mylot. Hope you enjoy your stay here as much as I am enjoying myself here. I do not watch much of action but prefer love stories and drama and comedy. Thanks for your reply. [mayka123]
Not exactly a lover of films. My daughter and I go to the theatre about once a year if there is something that appeals to us. Very rare now because there is so much blood and gore and bad language. I don't watch any films on television, so I suppose I might see one film per year. I really prefer a good book. I enjoy films like The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Narnia, The Golden Compass, that sort of thing. No romance, no rudeness, just a good yarn. [Nonnymouse]
If I have to watch a movie at home I think I may finish one movie in ten sessions spanning 4-5 days. I can never sit thru a full movie. And yes there is just too much violence on screen now. [mayka123]
We only go to a cinema 2 or 3 times a year at most, to see things that you really need a huge screen to properly enjoy. It is simply too expensive for me to pay for myself and 3 reenagers who are all classed as adults. I usually wait for movies that we want to see to come out on DVD and buy them, which works out cheaper and, if it is somethig we know we will enjoy, we can watch it over and over. I generally watch action and adventure-type movies, although I do have a few favourites such as "50 First Dates", that don't fall into those categories and are, I guess, romantic comedies. [Piscesmoon]
Yes for four adults to go to a cinema hall is pretty expensive nowadays. And then the teenagers like to have the eatables in the theatre itself which are priced very exhorbitantly. But I somehow cannot sit through a whole movie at home. Just get bored however good the movie may be. [mayka123]
I have not been to the theatre in a while. We have PPV(paid preview video) a channel on satellite that shows movies that have been in the theatre. They don't come out on ppv until the movie comes out of dvd. So I can wait to see the movie. It cost so much to go to the movies here I the US. I like action movies an comedy too; from time to time i will enjoy a little love and emotions in the movie but I like action movies the most. Have a great one. [twallace]
Thanks for your reply. Have fun. [mayka123]
I can watch like nearly any movie..Rally no choices as such N well..I watch em on tv as well as on the theatre tho quite less on the big screen:) [doctorgenius]
Thanks for your reply. Have fun and Happy posting. [mayka123]
I watch one movie every day , you can count easily then how many movie in a years I watch ... Thanks !!! [sincere4frdship]
That makes it 365 movies a year???Feeling dizzy just looking at the figure. How do you manage that. Have fun and happy mylotting. [mayka123]
I don't watch many movies on TV, but I will watch VCRs or DVDs. I go to the expensive movies about once every two months, and the cheapie movie theater (used to be dollar theater - now it's $2.50) about twice a month. At the cheap theater, you can usually see movies that just left the more expensive theaters. :-) What do I like? Comedies mostly. And when my step-daughter is with us (every other weekend), we often see kiddie animated movies. [kenzie45230]
Thanks for your reply. Have fun and happy posting. [mayka123]
No, I do not like to go the cinema at all. I'd much rather lie down on my very comfortable sofa and watch movies on satellite TV. It is way more fun and comfy and I can smoke and eat and drink, while watching, to my hearts delight and this way I get to watch movies all night long, not only one:) [Marleysa]
Thanks a lot for your reply. Enjoy your movies and online games. Happy posting. [mayka123]
hi maykal, how are you. i like to saw movies. In yearly i saw atleast 30 movies in theatre.on last week i saw a movie with my whole family. That movie is so nice, my family enjoy this movie. [vimaal]
Hi vimaal, thanks for your reply. Which movie did you see with your family that they liked so much? [mayka123]
I usually watch news intermittantly from early morning until early evening, then I switch to movies. I usually watch one movie on my DVD per night, but occasionally I watch two. I have not been inside a theater for many, many years, and I have no plans to return. I prefer the comfort of my own home. I have a DVD plan that permits me to take three rentals out at a time. It's from Blockbuster, about three miles from my home. The plan costs $37.44 a month and I can rent as many movies as I want to. I enjoy all types of movies except cartoons or those with computer-generated characters. I despise movies that are made with video cameras, and I'm not too fond of musicals or Westerns. [rjscott]
Thanks for your reply. I too do not watch cartoons and dont allow my kids to watch them when I am at home. I am free just for a couple of hours at home and they can watch their cartoons when I am out the whole day. [mayka123]
Dear friend, I do like to watch movies both in theater and Televisions. But I like to watch movies in theaters if that movie is a good one and if not that good I would watch it on my laptop or vcd players. But all those sound effects and other special effects are more attractive in big screens that too in theaters. Hence I feel more satisfied when I see those good movies in theaters even though I had seen in Television or laptop.happy [SHAMRACK]
I do not like the idea of watching a movie on a laptop. Find it very boring. Have fun and happy posting. [mayka123]
i HAVE SEEN OVER MAYBE 200 or so sorry for caps [k468524]
Thanks for your reply and happy posting. [mayka123]
There was a time when I went to the movies several times a week and on a loose day twice for the day. Now, I'd be lucky if I go more than three times for the year. I just don't have the fascination I once had for movies. I think a lot of them are cheap and artificial and I prefer to stay at home and read a book instead or go to a bar and hang out with friends. I know movies are the most popular entertainment for so many but people do change with time and I guess I have. [Bluepatch]
Thanks for your reply and have a nice time. [mayka123]
i go to the movie theater nearly once a week. i also like to watch tv or television with my family. although tv is good, i much prefer movie theatres because you can pick what you want to watch, and nothing beats the thrill of going to watch a movie on a HUGE screen in a big darkened room for the first time. even now, going to the movies, i remember the excitement and how awesome it was when the lights dimmed, and the movie started, my first time at the movies. my six year old self ooohed with everyone else, and i have loved going to the movie theatre ever since. i watch movies at home as well though. i love that with the advance in technology, i can now put a movie on my ipod touch for long car rides, or waiting at the airport. i am an avid netflix user, so i watch about 3 movies a week during the school term, and nearly one a night during the holidays.i go to multiplexes most of the time, as that is what they normally are. my favorite movies are comedys, action, and who doesnt love the great family movies. i honestly love family movies, like disney ones, because i can watch them with my whole family. i think i speak for everyone when i say MOVIES WHERE A GREAT IDEA! they are a wonderful source of interest and wonder for all ages. [mia123]
Thanks for your reply. I agree with you that movies are a great source of interest for one and all. Have a nice time and happy mylotting. [mayka123]
i don't really love to watch movies... but this year i had already watched 2 movies at the cinema... one is indiana jones... and the other one is sex and the city... both i got free tickets... that's why i watch it... i'm planning to go again as i have one more free ticket for me and my hubby... i'm waiting for nice movie to come out before i use it... take care and have a nice day... [lingli_78]
thanks for your reply .... have you used your free ticket yet?.... take care and happy posting [mayka123]
When i was in my country i never go to a movie theater anymore but since we moved out here in the US my husband loves to go out every friday night and watch a movie. We always called that day a ,movie time.He said its the start of his free time. [msedge]
I don't go to the cinema very often to watch movies. I sometimes watch them from home, after my family downloads them, or if we buy a DVD. I don't watch too many movies on TV much anymore either. In fact I don't watch too much TV at all. We used to tape movies all the time from TV when I was younger, using you know those ancient video cassette tapes that no-one's heard of these days? And we would fast forward the ads while we were taping it so that when you rewatched it you wouldn't have to fast forward them. The only problem was that you had to know when to press record again before the movie actually started - so we have a lot of old tapes with the beginnings of movies after each ad sequence often missing... [corilat]
Yes I too do remember the times when we would tape movies but now with DVDs so cheap kids like to bring DVDs and watch multiple movies in a day. I find it difficult to sit through one movie. [mayka123]
there was a time a few years ago when I would make it to go to a theatre atleat once a week and watch a movie. Things have changed since then and I get to watch movies now only on the T.V [alokn99]
Yes with life getting more and more hectic its difficult making time to go out to the movies. And these days with just remakes one does not have the inclination either. [mayka123]
once in a week,so i see about 52 movies in a year [licisheng508]
Looks like you keep yourself busy every weekend. [mayka123]
That's really sweet. I'd love to go to the movies as well but I'm on a budget right now so I haven't seen any since SexandtheCity. I buy dvds most of the time or just download movies off the internet. I don't know how much energy that process consumes and what the dollar value of it is, but to me it's free. I don't pay for my internet connection anyway so if I get to see a movie I downloaded, then it's zero cost for me. Generally, I see around 3 movies a month. It's not much, but it's enough. :) [mimico]
Enjoy your movies at home! Though I can watch movies on the cable I just get bored watching them. [mayka123]
It depends, I have netflix and I download a lot of movies, and when I have the money I go to the theater to see a movie, usually big named ones, next one im going to see is batman. I went to see hulk opening weekend. [darkjedi]
Thanks for your reply and happy posting. [mayka123]
I honestly don't know. I do know my husband & I rent a lot more movies then actually going to the movies itself. First it's way too exspensive nowadays to even see a movie & 2nd there is not much out there that I want to see. Lately they have been coming out with a lot of horror movies & I am deffinately not into that. So we rent instead. It's a lot cheaper & we can choose a couple of movies to see rather then going to see just one. [photographygirl73]
I think other than finding the movie houses too expensive there is hardly any choice for us to see. The movies that are being made nowadays are not that interesting to be spending so much. Thanks for your reply and happy posting. [mayka123]
About once a year I take my Mum to a movie, and we really enjoy it because we hardly ever go! We make it into a nice day out, with a special lunch and a look around the shops. It has to be a movie we both really want to see, though - not just any old thing. I don't watch movies on TV because I find I can't concentrate for that long, and usually fall asleep! [guybrush]
Good to know that I am not the only one who falls asleep watching a movie at home. Thanks for your reply and happy posting. [mayka123]
I guess I am an oddball...I don't really like to go to movie theatres. The last time I went was probably four years ago. I prefer to just get a pay per view on the television and watch it in the comfort of my home. My favorite movies are romantic comedies. [thetruth4you]
I too really dont go to the movie theatres anymore. [mayka123]
I think I probably see about 8 to 12 movies per year. [kellys3ps]
Thanks for your response. What is your choice of movies? [mayka123]
When I find the time, I will go to a theatre to watch a movie. But with two young kids it's a hassle. We need a babysitter, and we're always looking at our watches to make sure we're home on time. So we try to catch a movie when they're having a sleepover with the grandparents. So most of the times I will watch 'new' movies when they come out on DVD. The troubled life of a young mum, I guess ;-) [bieke81]
I guess you could call this the trouble life of a young mum, but you have the choice of keeping the kids with their grandparents. I never had that option but my kids enjoyed movies themselves so I did not have any hassles taking them to the theatre when they were small. [mayka123]
I usually go to theatre for movies, abt 5 times a month. And have been my habit for abt 2 years for now. here in my country the most popular is 21cineplex. so I often go there. And now I hv a girl friend who also like to watch movies, so sometimes we watch 2 movies in 1 day. [xsquid]
I cannot stand the thought of watching two movies in a day. One movie is a punishment for me. [mayka123]
I watch very few movies a year and most of them are on television. I only go to the movies when the film I want to see is in English or Spanish and then I really enjoy my outing, as it is not fun to see a film and only understand a percentage of it. The percentage is sort of high by now, as I have been living here for almost 15 years , but I still miss bits and pieces and that kind of annoys me. [sylvia13]
I have not seen a Mr Bean movie till date but have heard that he is very good. [mayka123]
I watch movies only at home... It's been 5 or 6 years since I walk into a theatre :) Don't know exactly how many I see in a year because there are many... but approximately 300 movies per year. [blueSoul]
I love animations, comedy romance and horror movies :) [blueSoul]
I love watching movies. I'm an addict. But I don't watch movies in the theater or cinema. I rent dvd. I watch all kinds of movies..horror, scifie, suspense, lovestory, comedy...everything. [lyzabelle]
Dont you think its more fun watching a movie in a theatre. With all the crowd and the surround sound and not forgetting the popcorn there. [mayka123]
hi mayka. I watch movies from time to time, I think it would be from once a week to once a month, depending on how much free time I have. I sometimes go to the cinema, and sometimes watch the movie at home. I'd prefer to watch all movies at home, but I have to buy good DVD player first;). I prefer watching movies at home, because cinema is quite crowdy place and I don't like crowdy places. The second reason is that I like to feel comfortable and change position while watching movie. I like to pause a movie so watching it at home is the best solution for mee. I liek to watch a movie with my boyfriend or my sister. I don't watch movies when I am alone. I like it, but I like reading books even more:). So when I have a spare time I prefer to read books or surf an internet than watching a movie. Have a nice day, jazgottt. [jazgottt]
Yes seems to me that you like to have the remote in your hands which is not possible in a theatre. Enjoy and Happy posting! [mayka123]
Hi there, I tend to watch movies on the television. I usually rent them by video if there is a good one to see. I typically rent a movie every couple of weeks. Very rarely do I go to the theatres anymore. I just get distracted with all the talking around me all the time. cheers, [golfproo]
And I get distracted at home. Just cant seem to concentrate on any movie at home. [mayka123]
Me and my fiance will not go to theaters to see a movie often, because it is becoming too expensive, and we would rather stay at home and either catch movies on television,or watch movies that we have,or occasionally rent a movie from the video store. [hellcowboy]
Yeah the remote is really handy, and it is easier to watch a movie because if you are watching a DVD or if you have satellite and have DVR then you can record movies or rewind them whenever you want while watching live, have a great day, good luck in your life, and Happy Posting. [hellcowboy]
I am a person who is not at all movie type. may be atmost 1 or 2. i do not like watching movies. the man concern is that i can't sit 3 hrs to watch a movie. [subha12]
Yes even I have the same problem of sitting fo three hours thru a movie. If I get the DVD at home I will watch the movie in instalments for 4/5 days. Little by little. [mayka123]
When my wife and I were still dating we would go and watch a movie every weekend. So if there are 52 weeks in a year, I reckon we see at least 52 movies in a year. Now that we have kids, the frequency dropped to a low 5 movies a year lol.:) [Muelitz]
When I was dating I think it would be more than a 100 movies a year. Now it is once in 8/9 years. [mayka123]
I seldom go to the movies. The last movie I saw was the Garfield movie. I met a friend at the theatre as we both love cats and dogs and we just wanted to see something fun. I switched jobs and go to work at noon and get off at 930pm so movies are usually not at the correct time for me PLUS in the USA it is very expensive....somewhat less in the afternoons but I am at work. I do watch some movies on TV once in awhile. [muscles4me]
I think people all over the globe are finding the theatres too expensive now. What with all the multiplexes coming up. I have never seen a Garfield movie. [mayka123]
I'm having two young children, elder boy is 7 years old and the younger one is about one year old only. I saw my last movie in any theater for about one and a half year ago and I've not gone to theaters since then because of having an infant. However, I love to watch movies on television also but I don't get much time to do that. Still I've managed to watch few movies on television in recent past. [suruchi86]
Thanks, you got it right. [suruchi86]
I honestly can not remember the last time I went to a movie in a theater! I never liked going to an inside movie anyway because the chairs were uncomfortable and I always missed half of the movie when I went to the snack bar or restroom. So most of the time I went to the drive in...of course I still missed parts of the movie when I left but I could at least sit comfortably and talk when I wanted to. And then videos and dvd's came out I was in 7th heaven, now I watch almost everything on video or dvd but once in a while when I'm busy working on the computer and need a break I will watch a movie on the computer in pieces, when I have to get back to work I stop it and go back as many times as I need to in order to finish it. [sagesunicorn]
Thanks for your reply. Its difficult for me to sit through a whole movie even at home with the DVD. I watch a movie in 5/6 instalments spanning a few days. [mayka123]
I watch movies at home sometimes, but I like to go to the discount movie theatre. We do that 2 or 3 times a month. It only costs $1.25 for the matinee, compared to $9.00 at the regular movie theatre. We see dramas, romantic comedies, sci fi, and about every 6 weeks or so I take my three grandchildren to see a children's movie. [rhettaa]
We too here have discounts for the matinee show but since I work I do not get a chance to for for a matinee movie. And anyway I do not like the kind of movies that are being made now and am waiting for a good movie to watch in a theatre. [mayka123]
We watch movies on television, and we hardly see movies at the Theater, but my younger son gave us some free birthday movie passes for one year. We saw Vantage Point on my birthday, which was about an assignation attempt on the President of the United States which was planned by some very bad people and how it was seen by others and really was not what you thought it was. My husband's birthday is in October and we will see a movie then. Next year, I do not know what we are going to do. We have these muliplexes and I miss the old theaters. [suspenseful]
I have not yet been to a multiplex. The one movie that I have seen of late was in one of those old theatres. [mayka123]
I really enjoy watching movies, but only go to the movie theater about 2 to 3 times a year. It's just too darn expensive to see movies in the theater. Besides, movies come out on DVD so quickly anymore it doesn't really matter. I like to watch dramas, comedies, psychological thrillers, independent films, and some foreign films. [reg415]
I think everyone is complaining that movie theatres are just too expensive to take the full family together. People not prefer watching the movies on DVD. But the fun of watching a movie in a theatre and at home is completely different. [mayka123]
i love movies my hobbies is wacthing movies i like to see movies in a years is 20 to 15 movies [ken18neth]
Do you like watching the movies at home or do you go to the theatres to watch? What kind of movies do you enjoy watching. Do you and your husband have the same choice or does one of you havet to compromise sometimes? [mayka123]
hi myka123, my husband and I used to watched movie before almost every weak but not now, beacuse we have no time to go to cinema, instead we just watch athome before we sleep. thanks and have a nice day. [rosema]
Having a very busy life I see. What are the kind of movies you enjoy watching? Thanks for your reply and ave a nice day. [mayka123]
I go to the cinema if i am with my friends and we have nothing else to do, ill go cinema about once every 3 months or so, but i always watch movies on sky as it is free to watch them. Also i download a lot of movies on my PC ad watch them in my spare time. [RastamanG]
Is it really fun watching a move on PC? I have got bored whenever I sat to watch the movie on PC. I think the sound there is different. [mayka123]
I'm sort of an avid movie person, but it's getting to be an expense I've had to cut back on. We can blow $30 easily going to a special movie night. I like small theatres in small towns. They generally are cheaper, the have nice owners, and are often quieter. It's not so far to walk once you get inside, and they are generally more tolerant of kids. In fact, in my hometown, if it's truly a movie just for kids, the owner lets my eleven year old and seven year old go alone, and tells me when to pick them up. They never have a lick of trouble with them. When I lived in Anchorage, I went ot a smaller theatre that specialized in foreign films. That was always a neat experience. And in Fargo, silent movie night has been expanded to several nights, and is always packed. Seeing a movie can be so varied. And while it isn't as much fun, the movies we can see for free on the internet is good, too. We get so see ones we couldn't see before we were born, etc. Enjoy film! [wearmanyhats]
Thanks for your reply. [mayka123]
im a movie lover person. for me watching good and interesting movies can relieve my stress from work. When i was in school i used to watch movies in cinemas, but these days through the technology, i watch movies through the internet for free. On my day off i used to watch new movies all day long..But that was before i joined MyLot. After i joined MyLot last night and today is my day off i spend all my time here.. [hindichinese]
im not really specific on a movie.. but as long as i enjoyed it i'll surely love it... but for me Jackie chan and will smith movies are great for me... [hindichinese]
i don't like going to theaters to watch movies. i prefer watching it on television or just rent dvds and watch it at home. i think i watched less than 100 movies last year. [sutanhartanto]
Movies at home is good and cheap but the sound effects that you can enjoy in a theatre you will never get that at home. Thanks for your reply and happy posting. [mayka123]
I am disabled, and must go to the movies with another person. Well, hardly anyone comes over to take me out anymore. They are either scared I will die in front of them and/or embarrassed to be seen with a person with ALS/Lou Gehrig's Disease, so I watch movies at home. I have to settle for the small screen. [fec139]
Sorry to hear about your plight. I think you should just forget such friends and go on with life. Have a nice time and happy posting. [mayka123]
hi i would like to see movie in my home on my computer so I think i see 3 or movies in a week but sometimes I will go to cinima to see take care [Petercheung]
Hi, thanks for your reply. What kind of movies do you like watching. Romance or action or both. [mayka123]
i watch movies in theatres and also in television.mostly my favourites heros pictures and message giving to society type of pictures i definitely watch in theatres.others small budget iwill watch when they are telecasted in tv [bharatsrinivas]
Yes enjoyable watching movies in theatres and financial beneficial to those who take the trouble of making these movies. Thanks a lot for your response and happy posting. [mayka123]
i will watch movies only my favourites and some socially related to society in theaters.all others will be watched when they are telecasted in television.as they are taking pictures for us ,you have to view them in theaters when they are socilly helpful to society. [bharatsrinivas]
Yes seeing movies in theatres is financially beneficial to many so its good you see movies in theatres. Thanks a lot for your response and happy posting. [mayka123]
its not fix ,but i am watching minimum three movies in a year. i like watching movies in threatre withi my family and friends ,i like movies in television also but not more then threatre.last time i was watch jannat in threatre with my brothers. [sangeetgupta20]
Jannat...did not hear of this movie. Anyway watching movies in theatres is much more interesting than television. [mayka123]
I don't know if i could count we probably watch over 100 new movies a year. [baileycows]
Thats quite a lot. Thanks a lot for your reply. [mayka123]
we watched movies on dvd's every weekend since our kids are still going to school. i also watched movies in theater together with my husband every saturday if there's an extra money. [ande71]
Thanks a lot for your response. Have a nice day and happy posting. [mayka123]
In the summer and winter time, when there are so many good movies are being released, I go to the cinema many times. But in the spring and fall time, I don't go at all because simply there are nothing good to see in cinema. I can't remember how many movies do I watch in a year, so many, more than 20 titles. I also like to watch movie at home. Most of the movie that I watch in cinema are action movies because I don't have a good sound system at home. For drama movies, I just watch it at home. [badrun88]
Thanks a lot for your response. I do not watch action movies at all. Just dont like them. Happy posting and have a nice day. [mayka123]
I mostly watch movies at home. At the theaters it happens a lot that people are kicking the back of my chair and they won't stop doing it even when I ask them kindly or get angry (when you are watching a long movie like harry potter you get really annoyed!). This is the main reason why I don't like to go to the theaters any more. I will only go to the theaters for movies I really, really would love to see like the new harry potters movies and certain disney movies :) [cyberfluf]
That's ok, we all have our choice in these things and it's a good thing we all have different views. What a boring world this would be and how crowded the theaters would be! Lol... happy. I appreciate people who come out and say what they think about stuff, having an opinion is one of the signs that people are happy and secure around themselves and others. Take care! [cyberfluf]
I don't know how many movies I see in a year because I saw so many movies movies in a year. But I think I saw 100-150 movies in a year. [PRIYANK1992]
Seems to me that you are very fond of watching movies. Thats great. I could not even watch half that number. [mayka123]
Well! I watch movies on my computer... I dont like to watch movies on TV because they show too many advertisements in between... Sometimes i go to a theatre to watch movies along with my friends... Its nice to watch movies in theatre... but i cant afford to watch all movies on theatre.. So i download them to my computer and watch them for free.. I watch almost all big hits in english and hindi on my computer... I watch around 2 movies a week... so almost 100 movies a year... [venkygec]
100 movies a year??? Thats great....I would get bored watching that many. [mayka123]
i usually like to watch movies in theaters but due to lack of time availability i have to drop my plan for a movie. It is good to watch movies on television too because some time unknowingly we saw some good movies about which we never heard before. I like to watch action, suspense movies and movies on Real issues. [Valiantdude]
I watch a few movies on television but have not seen a full movie at one stretch. The maximum I could sit was for about half an hour. And with the number of advertisements they show I just loose interest. [mayka123]
I used to watch movies mostly on television. If at all if we want to watch movie in a theatre the whole family goes for the movie. We want to watch Rang de Basanti in Huma Adlabs. Nowadays i am not interested in watching movie in TV also. [nini89]
I have seen Jab we Met about four times and Taare Zameen Par just once. But have not seen Rang de Basanti. And I get bored watching the chinese movies with the actors moving around so fast. [mayka123]
I used to go to the movies at least twice a month. However since I've gotten married and had kids movies have become a luxery. Now however I have found a great website that I can watch all the movies I want for free right on my pc. I also just bought a new tv so I plan to hook up my pc so I can see them on my new tv. [onlinetomakemoney]
Good you can now watch movies at home but I do not enjoy watching movies at home. Too much of distraction around. And then you cannot get the same sound effects also. [mayka123]
Hi dear Movies have become a part and parcel of our lives. I watch one at least every weekend. A good movie is kind of charger that charges me for the next week. Having said this, I love funny, comedy films that make me laugh. However, films like Taare Zameen Par is a bliss and I would like to watch more of such kind. Smiles... [mimpi1911]
There was a time when movies were a part and parcel of my life. I think I would see a movie everyweek. And now it was one movie after 8 years. Have started watching movies on television these last couple of months. Before I would not even watch on television. I wish we had more movies like TZP. [mayka123]
Hello mayka123 in fact, because of the development of the internet, now, i watch more and more movies on the net.And it is very convenient to me.I could watch any one which i would like in the menu of the PPS.I would wtach about 40 movies a years or more.Of course, if they are attractive to me.lol good luck happy happy [successlog]
I do not much like the sound system on the television and on computers so do not enjoy the movies all that much at home. [mayka123]

I have not seen any of the harry potter series. But my kids love it. I enjoy the movies more in theatre than on the television or online. [mayka123]
I am not a great movie buff. I rarely see movies in cinema halls. Once in a six months, I go for movies, else I see movies on my computer. Till a movie is an outstanding one, I do not feel like visiting a theatare. I would like to spend time elsewhere, instead of sitting for a movie continously for three hours. I have seen TZP and have replied to your other discussion regarding this movie. I love to watch comedies and hilarious movies only. [dpk262006]
Many thanks for the best response. You made my day.happy [dpk262006]
I can't count actually :) . I generally watch Movie on every weekend, that means around 8 movies in a month, which sums up 100 Movies(approx.) in a yeah. Ohhh my GOD!!! i have count it earlier... its too much. i think i should include it in my monthly Budget ;-) [amit_joamon]
I see one movie in eight years and you manage eight movies in one month. Thats great. I would never have that much patience now. [mayka123]
this year I went to nearly 100 movies all of them I saw @ theater alone.. I didn't included those movies I saw at DVD or vcd @ home... I too saw TZP and I enjoyed it a lot it was a very touching story isn't it [maathavan]
I watch in night normally and sometimes on holidays... [maathavan]
