Are there any particular movies you watch over and over and over again? I think this is the 5th time I have watched the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. It's been on tv twice so far and I have watched them both times. I have also seen it on dvd twice and then once at the movies.

My movies that are the worse for wear, maddysmommy, are Dirty Dancing, Highlander, Lonesome Dove series, and Die Hard. There are others that I re-watch, but not as often as these. I'm trying to get around to watching the LOTR trilogy, and I will as soon as I catch up. [worldwise1]

Ya there are certain movies we watch over and over again...For,me gladiator is the movie i have seen it nearly 18 times....I love to watch it again...what a movie it was...its never get bored....this is the movie that i have seen maximum times... [chaithudagger]

I'm not big on watching a movie more than once. But if "Evita" with Madonna ever came back to the big screen I would go and see it again maybe even twice. There was something really awesome about that movie and I Do Not Like Madonna. But she was good in that movie!! [Adoniah]

For me it is Blue Streak with Martin Lawerence. I got totally addicted to this movie and ended up watching it sometimes 3 or 4 times in one day! It was terrible. I mean, the movie is awesome, my favourite. But it definitely felt as if I had no life. Which was mostly true. Another movie I watch a lot is The Matrix, and also the old Star Wars Trilogy. [namd3r]

I watched the Lord of the Rings once and only once on TV. If the movie is only available at the cinema, I will watch it only once since I have to pay. If it I have the VCD, I may watch it again when I am not in the mood to do anything except lazing around. [whyaskq]

I have SOOO many movies here i will happily watch over & over again. Here are a list of just a few that we have bought on DVD that i've seen at LEAST 10 times since we've owned them :- * The Grinch - it's awesome! * The Lord of the rings - Trilogy! * Van Helsing * Barnyard - i know it's a kids movie but my little one likes it too! * Shrek trilogy - & we haven't had it long! * Clueless -- i know that one word for word. * Blade - i just love it! * Ice Age 1 & 2 * Fast & the Furious - trilogy They're just a few off the top of my head. I usually only buy movies that i REALLY enjoy & if i enjoy them enough to buy them then i'll watch them whenever i get the urge. well i think that i have watched resident evil for the nth time. i really am caught up in the story and it makes me feel happy and excited whenever i watch mila jovovich do her stuff. i really love the resident evil series and actually i bought a complete dvd series and i watch it over and over again. i just love it!. i guess its more if i like the movie or not i know that i have watch grease, grease2, phat girls, and many others countless amounts of time and never get bored with them.. only movie that i have problems with now is saving private ryan where i watched it 6 times in a row in one night... long story on that one... it really depends what the movie is and if we own it on dvd. i remember when i was younger we had a "matilda" tape and during the summer my siblings and i would watch that day after day. we even got the chance to memorize the lines! and it was with that movie that i convinced myself that i got powers like matilda. hahahaha. and then we now own a school of rock dvd. before we got tired watching that film, we were also able to memorize the lines and the songs. I am usually not the type to watch a movie more than once. That is why I don't really purchase dvd"s, but if I do watch a movie over again it is more for nostalgic reasons. Here are my picks -Pulp Fiction -Scarface -Aliens I and II -Kill Bill I and II -Cyborg -Terminator -Matrix trilogy -LOTR trilogy -Willow -Pitch Black I am sure there is more, but those are the ones that come to mind for now. I usually like to rewatch my favorite movies once a year. I would say that the movies I can watch more then once in one sitting, such as dramas and comedies. Maybe an office space or adam sandler movie make me laugh. Or Duets when I'm alone and can't be judged for watching it. [Target359]

I've watched several movies several times. The two the stick out the most are Dirty Dancing and The Shawshank Redemption. Shawshank is my all time favorite movie and I could probably recite it for you if you wanted me to. I actually was able to go to the prison where it was filmed for the Haunted Prison Experience around Halloween, and it was awesome just to be there. [ky1119]

if you have seen the Kung Fu by Xingchi Zhou, i'd like to say i have seen all his movies for more than ten times on average. Xingchi Zhou is a chinese movie star, as a leading comedic act ,meanwhile as a director for now, he is well known in China and even some overseas places. his movies Kung Fu was played at USA about one years ago. lots of my friends and i like his movies very much,his movies are always quite funny . even when you feel blue,to watch his movie, you will become happy at once. i often watch his movie while i have chafing dish with my friends at dormitory when i was a student.which feels really so cool~! Titanic I guess I watched it billion times. But no matter I watched it that many I'm still not fed up. I have a lot of favorite movies that I really wanted to watched many times but I don't want to easily fed up with them. It depends on whether I really like this movie. In the past when I was a child, I liked to watch Superman so much and we watched it from the cinema at least three times. I also watched Brave Heart so many times. I don't mind watching my favorite movies for many times because everytime it seems I can find something new. [youless]

personally i don't own that many movies, so those i watch are on the plane or in the cinema or loaned to me from a friend. so i only get to watch them once! i don't really like to watch movies more than once cos I already know the ending. part of the fun of watching a show is not knowing the ending. especially for shows like sixth sense. although some may argue that watching it again makes you notice different things and how it all makes sense haha. Yo man!!!...there are quite some movies that i have seen more than once...I saw all parts of Matrix..twice when they came!!!and then few days ago I saw them In a que!!!..because I loved that movie.. I have watched the Ten Commandments at least ten times, and Sense and Sensibility about six times, and I have watched several of the old 1940s movies about five or more times. I plan to get Ten Commandments, Sense and Sensibility, and Pride and Prejudice on Dvds, I might get the old version of the latter as well as the new version and I definitely want to get all of the LORD of The Rings movies as well as the Godfather series on Dvd since I consider these as classics. I watched Philidelphia seven times and cried each time too. I knew the ending, but the story line just got to me. The pain the unjustice, our corrupt world and how it crushes people. Tom Hanks was an asset to this movie, just as he is with any movie. Anyone who is a fan of Tom Hanks HAS to watch Philidelphia. [ljegbers]

My favorite movie is "The Bodyguard." I don't know how many times I have watched it. I also like the movie, "Lean On Me." Most people think that the things that I watch are "Goody good," movies. I wouldn't say that. But I will say that I do not like violence, horror, or Science Fiction. To me, Science Fictions are like cartoons. There are no realistic limits on these type of movies. It's like they got bored with normal stuff, so they turned to make believe and magic. I think that anyone with any amount of talent can make a hit movie if the skies the limit. My best friend likes to watch the Science Fiction cable channel. One of the main reasons I can not get into it is because they always contain violence, horror, or some kind of magic. That stuff does not interest me at all. But I know a lot of people who really enjoy that stuff. So I know that I am the exception and not the norm, but I am alright with that. [Rozie37]
I have never seen the Lord of the Rings, any of them. I have been meaning to since I know it won so many awards and everyone raves about them. I have to admit, as silly as it may sound, that I watched Step Up 1 13 times in theatres. That's how crazy I was before about Channing Tatum all because he kinda looks like my ex whom I hadn't gotten over with at the time the movie came out. Haha. Well;It depends a lot on how good I find the Movie or whether I like it so enjoyable that I watch it over and over again . I have watched "Lord of the Rings -Return of the King" 2 times and so did for "The World is not Enough" and "Tomorrow Never dies" . I have watched the James Bond Movie - "Golden Eye" - 4 or 5 times and so did for the Hindi Movie : "Sholay" , "Herapheri" . I have also watched Movies : "Golmaal" , "Awara Paagal Dewana" many times . well i think the most number of times a movie that i have watched will be the matrix. i have seen that in theaters more than 7 times and also reloaded more than 5 times and i have a dvd of them both and i have seen them also for quite a few times at home. and then the next will be the triology of the lord of the rings. just a few days ago i got the collectors edition of the DVD of lord of teh rinsg which is of 12 DVDs. Usually, I watch a movie just once. I am not a big fan of movie and tv. I like internet but not movie. There are some movies that I watch many times but after they are played on cable TV. Those are blade, patriot, finding forrester, and rambo. Those are what I remembered, but I think there are some more, I just forget what they are. But not too many, I am sure they are less than 10 movies. The reason I watch those movies over and over again is not because I like them but because there are nothing else better than that.
