I always find myself singing along to Moulin Rouge, and the disney movies I loved when i was a kid, like Aladdin, Beauty and the beast and Lion king.

I have made my own cds to the soundtracks of Highschool musical and highschool musical 2 as well as songs from aladdin, little mermaid, pochantoas and oter disney movies as well. another movie/musical i find myself singing too is grease.. the first one not the second one that much. I always sing the songs from The Phantom of the Opera, especially "Masquerade" (it's such a fun song!). I just love that style of music, even though my voice is horrible at reproducing their awesome tones. I do my best tho. :P [rabonnobar]

Oliver! even when it's not on. I don't really like musicals that much but the movie of this is just magical. Who will buy and Where is love are just wonderful songs. I also like West Side Story and My Fair Lady. I didn't mind Chicago the movie and Moulin Rouge the movie. [Nerophile]
Les Miserables. Actually, I was drunk out of my mind one night with some friends and sang the entire musical. Well, I wasn't completely out of my mind, I remember it all completely. The funniest part of that night was actually all the people gathering at the bottom of the steps staring at me. I was sitting halfway up a staircase. Someone commented that I really was singing the whole thing. Someone else commented that the best part was that as drunk as I was, and with no background music, I was still in key. [wiccania]

I find myself siniging to Evita, Grease or at times The Lion King. I have the Evita sound track and The Lion King sound track too. I guess I've seen Grease sooo many times I don't need the sound track ;). [barrudaki]
I sing along with the Lion King as well. But the other movies I sing along with is Happy Feet, Crooklyn, A Goofy Movie, The Five Heartbeats, The Temptations, and all the Tyler Perry Plays. I like the movies he's come out with too, but to me the plays are much better. They are more coarse, like original, and Tyler gets away with more. The song breaks are better too. [drknlvly6781]

I like singing or humming that song that the Fairy Godmother sang in Cinderella or from any of the Disney movies. Sometimes I think of Fantasia and those hippos in ballet skirts dancing or that one with that primitive bird being stalked, but I do not think classical music can be hummed. When I cannot think of any, I just make up a song in my head. [suspenseful]

lol when the girls where younger OMG yes it was beauty & the beast and Little Mermaid! but now since they are older they LOVE *Grease* they love to watch it a million times over!! singing to all the songs - imagine how excited they got when we introduced them to The BeeGees! I have to admit, I have a weakness for Disney songs, too - I used to have them all on Video when I was younger, and used to watch The Little Mermaid almost religiously, every weekend, so I know all the songs from it. I also love Beauty And The Beast, the songs in that were FANTASTIC! Aside from that, though, I've always been a Grease fan, and, more recently, I've fallen in love with Wicked - the musical about the wicked witch of the west from The Wizard of Oz - it's AMAZING, and I have all the original songs (the ones by Idina Menzel) on my MP3, lolz. You hit the nail on the head with a couple of my favorite musicals to sing along with! Aladdin, Little Mermaid, Grease, and Moulin Rouge are all great! I think there are a lot that I sing along to and I don't even pay attention to it any more. Being that I have kids, and a lot of kid friendly movies, and my daughter loves musicals, things like Cats Don't Dance, Pure Country, Harmony Cats, Annie and Sound of Music come to mind.
