There are some movies that I can only watch once every few years but there are also some that I never get sick of. These are: The Sandlot kids; Edward Scissorhands; Grease and 50 First Dates! 50 First Dates is on TV here it seems about once every 3 months! It's such a great movie suitable for the whole family (mostly..) and it's just a really nice story. Whenever it comes on I think 'Oh no not again!' but before I know it I can't stop watching it! What movie do you watch often?

I think "JUDE " is one of those films you mention. Try and see it it is terrific. Very sad !! [CAMILLERI]
oh mine is topgun. I've never seen an "airforce" movie as good as the one mentioned. the others are simply "fake." That one movie showed almost real dog fights without even the benefit of 21st century CGI. It' the real dea. Perhaps i've watched it 50 times.. lol [myworldathome]
There is only one movie that I never get tired of and I constantly watch it whenever I feel down and that movie is "You've got Mail!" The movie is just so cute and adorable. You should watch it if you haven't. [cooldude_no1]
Hi, I like few movies that I can watch any number of times and forever. Actually it is my child's fav movie 'Chicken Little'. Another movies that I like is Ghost, Signs, Beautiful mind, Titanic and some more that I cannot recollect now. I watched signs so many times but still I don't get bored. My most favorite movie is 'Shakespeare in Love'. It is a romantic comedy. It's a cute movie. Have a nice day! [lavenderbloom]
OH wow LOL there are tons of movies I'll never get sick of...like pretty much all of Tim Burtons movies..(he's just BRILLIANT) and most of David Cronenburgs flicks then there are movies like A Soldier's Girl Powder Pay It Forward Hunchback of Notre Dame Breakfast At Tiffanys Funny Face Girl, Interupted May Strangeland Hotel Rwanda Boys Dont Cry Cry Freedom omg I am drawign a serious blank but there are tons of others... [Ravenladyj]
I too had a serious blank when I made this discussion! I also own Reality Bites and Singles on DVD and never get sick of those either. Funny Face...I have a calendar of old movie posters and that was last month's poster! I really want to see it. [coffeeshot]
Walk the Line. I love that movie. When it first came out, me and another girl watched it at work just about everyday. Now anytime I hear a Johnny Cash song, I think of the movie and picture Joaquin Phoenix. I just love just about any movie with Reese Witherspoon too. I think they did an amazing job in that movie. I loved the songs so much that I even bought the soundtrack. I love that they are actually singing. It's very commendable. Not many stars could do that. Or would be willing to do what they had to do with the voice coaches and lessons and all. I know all the songs by heart. I love Jackson. It has to be my fave. [just2crazygirlz]
I'm pretty sure Reese Witherspoon at least did. It was one of the best movies I have ever seen. And I didn't have any interest in Johnny Cash before it. I love that music now. But I always picture them. Kind of like Lou Diamond Philips and Labamba. [just2crazygirlz]
Okay here is my few movies I never get sick of because they remind me of when my son was small and we used to watch them together..Never Ending Story and Legend. [TheHairDresser]
Were you Ambie? I know it was lovely wasn't it? I think my son also liked Labyrinth with David Bowie in it! xoxooxoxo [TheHairDresser]
We watch National Lampoon Christmas Vacation over and over again, mainly at Christmas time. It is funny to watch and there is always scenes in it that you hadn't paid attention to before. We laugh every time even though we know what will happen next. [stephcjh]
Well one I never get sick of and it drives my husband crazy, is Overboard. Any time its on tv I watch it. I like the classics. Pretty in pink, 16 candles, ghost. And I could watch most movies with adam sandler, robin williams, mike meyers and will smith in them over and over again without getting sick of them. I like movies that make me laugh. [ravinskye]
Shawshank Redemption, Forrest Gump, Aladdin [angemac23]
well someone in here sure has a lot of movies on his list... i have not decided on that one yet... its so hard for me to decide on whether what movie is my "all Time" favorite. there are a couple of movies i watched more than 3 times... but honestly.. i feel a bit tired of watching them again haha [chiyosan]
Independence Day, Grease, Titanic and there are a few more that I just can't think of right now. I think that Independence Day has to be my favorite movie of all time because if it is on and I flip to it, I will stop and watch it. I also like 10 Things I Hate About You. Again, another movie that I will stop and watch no matter where it is in the movie's progression. [cortjo73]
I would have to say I have watched Legally Blonde 1 and 2 as many times as I possibly can. Whenever it's on tv I watch it, whenever I get the need of wanting to watch it I pop in the dvd. Another one is 40 year old virgin. Seen the advertisements on this morning so I know it will be on the tv sometime this week. Anything with Vin Diesel in it, because he is one of my favorite actors. 10 things I hate about you is almost worn out from me watching it to much so I will have to buy another copy of it soon. I watch any of these at least once every two weeks. [miller1978]
I like 50 First Dates Too. It seems like we are always watching one of the Back to Future movies here, and for a while I think we watched National Treasure once a week. We would joke if we put it on after more than a week "Oh we haven't seen this in forever." I also like Grease 2 I'll watch that whenever I see it on. Hmm...sadly probably all the popular john hughes films, when nothing else is on I can always watch one of those. [castratton]
I dont' really watch movies, as I normally end up falling to sleep. But these are ones I can watch all the time and never get tired of them. You'll get a kick out of this! Every ground hog day hubby and I watch "Ground Hog Day" and we never miss it! We never get sick of watching it and he even knows all the lines, which I hate because he repeats them throughout the movie. We have a dvd library of about 800 movies and are adding all the time. Sound of Music, Finding Forrester, Facing hte Giants, I usually watch movies over and over again as it is, because i'm a creature of comfort, and just set in my ways... I tend to like Comedies, Romance, and Family movies, Another movie I really like was The Second Chance, with Micheal W. Smith... I haven't watched Grease in Ages so maybe we should rent it just to watch it once, and well Grease 2 wasn't as good as the first.... But I htink more htan that the sitcoms of the 80s are and early 90s is what I really like... Mooch [oneandonemakesix]

Ok I would have to agree with 50 First Dates, but my all time fav that I've watched ALOT of times and never get tired of is The Wedding Singer. I love that story and I cry most of the time at the end. Nothing sweeter than a man singing you a song just for you! [kblakley]

Well... I have spent the last 12 months building myself a collection of DVDs... I collect them... because I know I will want to watch them again. Some more than some other. I could safely say that any good movies made in the 70's and 80's... I did watch half a dozen times. But those that I did watch the most... like a dozen times... would be... - The "Dirty Harry" movies with Clint Eastwood. - The "Lethal Weapon" movies with Mel Gibson. [Aussies2007]
I find that I'll happily rewatch most movies if some time has passed between the last time I watched it. However, there are several that I can rewatch, even if barely any time has passed: Moulin Rouge Dirty Dancing Ever After Sound of Music A Knights Tale First Knight There are probably others as well, but these immediately leapt to mind as movies that I will watch several times a year, and never tire of them. [kriszelunka]
I have seen Windwalker, Quest For Fire, Honeysuckle Rose, and The Rose many times. Windwalker is a great story, Quest For Fire is just enjoyable, and I really like the music in the other two. [ycanteye]

This may sound funny, but I can watch the original Gidget movie over and over again along with Little Women (the one with Elizabeth Taylor in it). I love 16 candles, the breakfast club, grease, and weekend at Bernie's. I could watch these all of the time and never get sick of watching them! Hi coffeeshot! Most of the movies I never get tired of seeing are the holiday classics and I try to watch my favorites every year. The best one of those would be It's a Wonderful Life... I never EVER get tired of seeing that one! I also like the original Miracle on 34th Street... but that's because of a little miracle of my own that's connected to the movie. :-) Besides that, the only one that comes to mind that I don't mind seeing often is The Lion in Winter, either the old or new version. My daughter would list Pirates of the Caribbean on this list, but I saw them all once and that was okay for me. I liked them, but I wouldn't need to see them a second time. [katiedoubleu]
My all time old favorite is Some Like it Hot with Marilyn Monroe- actually her movies are my favorite old movies all together. My new favorite movie that is so cute and I can't get enough of is called Once. A friend of mine brought me that movie and it's a great story. Wow, there are so many great movies out there. You know it's a good movie when you can watch it over and over again without getting tired of it! When my sister and I were younger, we were big fans of the 'Anne of Green Gables' books and movies series. When it came out, we watched 'Anne of Green Gables: The Continuing Story' at least eleven times. That's the most times I've ever watched one movie in my life! (LOL) The runner up to that would be 'Over the Hedge.' I think I've seen that movie six or seven times now. The best part of the movie, believe it or not, is not a part an actual part of the movie either. It's an independent clip the creators made called 'Hammy's Boomerang Adventure.' The ten-minute-long clip can be easily overlooked, but it's the best part. If you've seen it, you know what I'm talking about. If you haven't, I'd encourage you to watch it! Other movies that I can watch over and over again include 'Transformers,' 'Gladiator,' 'A Walk to Remember,' 'Mr. Deeds,' 'King Kong,' any Amanda Bynes movies since she's one of my favorite actresses (including 'She's the Man' and 'Sydney White'), 'Titanic,' and 'Frequency.' I prefer movies that have happy endings, including comedy and romance. 'Gladiator,' 'Titanic,' and 'King Kong' are a couple of exceptions to my "rules," but they're amazing. I also like '50 First Dates' as you mentioned in your discussion description. I completely agree with you that that's another movie that can be watched over and over again. [JJ4Ever]
It's funny you should ask this question tonight, as The Sound Of Music is on Family Chennel, and I'm watching it. It's not just on tonight (Firday,) but it'll be on tomorrow, and Sunday too. I'll probably watch it all three times that it is on. I will never get tired of that movie. [danishcanadian]
The star wars full set. Independence day. Galaxy quest. 300. Gladiator. The stand. Liar, Liar. My Fellow Americans. Man of the year. Robin Hood: Men in tights (I know corny). These are the top 10 movies that I watch over and over, there are many others though lol. [getunaddicted]
Batman and Robin all the way! [livecon_1]
