Well, I don't know about you, but I can't sit in a movie theater without a snack, even if I've just had lunch or dinner, it just doesn't seem right.
When I watch movies at home, that's never the case, but at the cinema, I better have something to munch on.
The best snacks would have to be something that's not too messy, and easy to eat, and something you don't have to look at constantly while eating. I guess the most popular snack is popcorn, and it is for me too.
My favorite is the sweet/caramel popcorn, or sometimes I like a mix of the sweet with the regular.
Another of my favorites is the chicken popcorn from KFC, that is a great movie snack, of course its' also one that has to be sneaked in, but lucky for me, being a girl, I just hide it in my bag. I once sneaked in a whole medium sized pizza in my bag, but that's a story for another time, I guess.
I also enjoy the nachos with cheese, but it's hard to dip and then eat and you constantly have to look at it, so I try to avoid it, especially if I'm watching a movie where I can't afford to look away.

I seldom bring anything in to eat or drink. That's because I usually plan my movies before or after meal times. I think they only have regular popcorn at our theater. If they had caramel popcorn, that'd be my favorite. I don't normally get snacks at the movie theater because I don't have the money, if I do, it's usually the nachos and cheese or twizzlers. yeah, that is true, sometimes at some theaters, the snacks are too expensive, and those days I usually carry a larger bag then, ha ha, I sneak in huge chips and stuff, don't wanna waste my money on common snacks when I can get better ones for lesser money. [vega83]
I never get any snacks and it irritates me to be sitting near someone who's eating or drinking. The sound they make makes it really hard for me to concentrate in the movie. I always make sure people sitting near me in the movie theater don't have any snacks. [sofia29]

My favorite snacks inside the movie house depends on where I'm watching it. I only watch movies in Rockwell, Shangri-La and Glorietta, sometimes even in Podium. When I'm in Shangri-La, I only buy Coke Light and Pringles from the cinema bar because they only allow food from the cinema bar. But in Glorietta, I buy Tater's Potato Chips Large and Wendy's Bigtime Coke. Glorietta and Rockwell allow outside food so it depends on my mood and my appetite. Sometimes I buy from McDonald's, Wendy's, Jamaican Beef, Starbucks. Whatever I feel like eating. [marababe]

It's popcorn. I used to have a rule which seemed to annoy my friends no end, it was 'never start eating before the movie begins'. Well I can't say I still do it, I rarely go to movies these days, I much prefer watching DVDs at home at my own comfort. [Zalvor]

I really like popcorn or nachos with cheese and chillis! Thing is though they are horrendously expensive to buy at the cinema which really narks me so much, so I tend to sneak in snacks and drinks and to be honest I don't give a damn what they think...if they want to have people buy stuff from the cinema they should really consider lowering prices a bit. Popcorn is the standard movie snack, and for a long time, milkduds, but I also like m&m's, or reeses pieces. As for sneak in snack, when we were kids you couldn't get pretzels at the movies so we sneaked those or cheese doodles in. and I still associate snowcaps with going to the movies. Since pop secret makes movie theater butter microwave popcorn, I can have my popcorn for movies at home. Unfortunately the last time I went to the movies the pop corn was aweful, actualy the last couple of years it is just not up to statards since they don't make it at the movies like they used to instead it is in large bags brought in and stored in a store room, well I can buy that at the grocery store, melt my own butter and add it to the top. Finding a movie theater that actually makes the popcorn is the hard part. [nowment]
Yup, I sure do know what a drive in movie is, but there isn't anything like that here, so never been to one. I would like to, though. When I see people going to drive in movies in the movies, it looks fun. Fortunately, the movie theater that I go to, which is a multiplex at the mall, still has the best snacks, and they are oh, so fresh!! That's why I prefer going only there, I hate the sweet popcorn at the other mall. And unfortunately that's where they showed "the marine" which I had been waiting for, for so long. Hello! My famiy and I don't go to the theater very often because it has gotten so expensive, at least here where we live, so we just rent DVDs from Netflix and watch them here at home. When Amy and I go to the Rave theatre we get popcorn and add seasonings that the theatre has such as white cheddar,natcho,parmesan,and caremel flavoring but I do not add all those flavorings in one day at the movies. Amy and I also get candy and Mr. Pib soda. We get different types of candies at different times when we go to the movies. When Amy and I went to see Georgia Rule we had cotton candy in a bag, but sometimes we have care bear gummi bears or other candy's that they have at the movie theatre concession stand. Amy and I always go to the concession stand when we go to the movies. After the movie is over we play in the arcade at the Rave theatre by Mall of Louisiana. [carebears]

My favorite snack at the theatre has to be popcorn..you just can't find popcorn at the store that tastes so good..and when I order my popcorn and they ask if I want butter..I say "Oh Yeah"..so they fill the huge drum halfway with popcorn add butter for about 20 seconds then they fill the rest of it with popcorn and add butter for another 20 seconds..till it's practically swimming..then I add a bit of salt..shake it up and walla my favorite theatre treat..hmmmmm. Before I started losing weight and put myself on a diet I LOVED to get the Jolly Rancher Fruit Chews...oh yummm! Then I like to eat popcorn with the pepper juice from their peppers, but sometimes I don't crave that so I don't eat it. Now I like to sneak it JuJuBes into the Theater *gasp* lol. well, popcorn is a perennial favourite. they sell salty and sweet popcorn at the 'official' (read expensive) stall outside the cinema box office. I prefer sweet to salty. I also sneak in burgers from burger king or mcdonalds if it's a show in the evening and I haven't had the time to grab dinner. so I'll just eat dinner during the advertisements and try to finish it really fast. Yup i don't believe in paying exorbitant prices for the drinks selling officially outside, so sometimes I'll bring in my own drinks and hide it in my bag. Well everytime I go see a movie I always get the same snack, no matter what. Even if I've just eatten right before going to the movie I have to get it. I get a large coke and a box of skittles and a bag of twizlers. I'm not really big into popcorn but I love skittles and twizlers. They are easy to eat and don't make a huge mess. Well I don't know much about the avatar issue, but the only thing I know is that the dimensions of your avatar are supposed to be 60 x 60 for it to work properly here, and for it to be moving. there is a movie theater in my hometown of Guelph Ontario Canada that makes the best nachos and cheese I have ever had. Their popcorn is also good, and I just can't say no to a chocolate bar, but their nachos and cheese are the best! [danishcanadian]

I love watching good movies, specially at cinema halls. I love to go there but only with my beloved. To say I was a cinema freak till last year July. The month when my beloved left for her college to a city away from me. Since then I haven't been very regular at movies or any thing enjoyable. Its quite unejoyable without her by my side. I miss her all the time. Ok Thats a different story, actually since I am such a movie junkie, I would also like to add up that I am a bic muncher as well. I just cant keep my mouth empty while watching those good movies. I always buy one thing or the other to snack up between the movie. While other things like burgers, and stuff are still not that important, a big bucket of pop corns and a big pitcher of cold drink is just necessity. I need them. I don't usually like to snack when I'm at the movies. I like to pay attention to the movie when I'm watching one and pay attention to what I"m eating when I"m eating:) Snacks in movies were created for profit for the owner of course and people fell for it completely, but they certainly are not necessary since most people won't go to the movies hungry LOL The only thing I will have is a bottle of water because I drink lots of water and also because sometimes it gets a bit dry inside. Yeah, I did! Once I bought an apple pie from Mc Donalds and I sneaked it into my pants pockets. I also bought a regular sized french fries and sneaked it into my other pocket. Well, I sometimes eat before movies too, but I still like to have my popcorn, it just feels weird not having it at the movies. [vega83]
My favorite at the theater is popcorn with butter on it a package of peanut m&m's and a diet coke. That makes for a really good movie watching snack! Sometimes I will get something else like a recess peanut butter cup but I usually stick with the same old thing. [hip2bemom]

Oh, I love watching movies in theatres. I believe some movies are made to watch in theatres only. On TV screen they does look real. I also prefer to eat while watching movie in cinema theatre. I prefer snack, which does not make any noise for me and people around me. Like popcorn, all time best snack. Or some sandwitch or local food items with cold drink. [BeachLover]

I like bringing along pop corns to the movie. It helps so I wont get bored becoz it takes long to eat. I also love to bring a long soft drinks and cheese curls. Do you know the snacks called piatos and chippy? I love them so much and I wanna take them to any movie theater. [hersmart4ever]
Well, takes long to eat? I'm not sure I can agree with that, my popcorn's over before the movie even starts, it's gone in the previews. I guess I'm just a fast eater, plus it's better because then I'm not distracted during the movie with eating. [vega83]
