weekends... that the very best day of my life... because i could just sit down and relax... and rest whole day thru... with a very hectic work during the week days, a nice week end of rest would be a way to go... but sometimes i went out with my frined my special someone... or watch tv at home... a movie marathon.. or cook anything.. or rather surf the net and anything under the sun... as long as it would not tire me... and you??? what would be your weekend like??

it all depends on what got done during the week...if the week was too busy to get housework and errands done etc then it has to be taken care of on the weekend..if it got done during the week then the weekends are free for more personal fun type things..hanging wiht the kids, movie day, spending time outside, reading, writing etc... The weekend for my consists or grocery shopping, doing some stuff around the house, and maybe going out to dinner if there is enough money to use. The weekend time usually isn't my time to relax but during the week i can sit around the house usually doing nothing but being on the computer trying to make some extra cash of course. I have Church service during the Saturdays, and its fully packed. It's really fun, cause instead of going out and compromising yourself, you get clean fun with people who shares same views as you are. We usually are sent to distant places to serve, meet people, have fun with the children, sing songs of worship. Then at night would be another Team Revival Night, it's really fun, and investing on the Kingdom of God! Dear friend, I would be in the resturant that is near to the beach of Kerala in India it is one of best friends resturant. I have a work from home setup but when weekend comes, I make sure that I do not work. During weekend, I spend it with my husband. On Saturdays, we would just stay lazy the whole day, watch dvd while eating pizza or potato chips. On Sundays, we would go to the mall, do some groceries and eat out. [bubbletush]

I love weekends. Its the time that I don't do that much and always waiting for it during the week. At weekends, I woke up late around 10am. I will get a good lunch for myself at my favorite restaurant. There are times I go to the malls or if I am not in the mood, I will just stay at home and run a DVD marathon or read a good fiction book. Go shopping lol. I usually try and visit my mom once a week so she can spend time with my girls. This past weekend we spent alot of time at home. We washed the cars did yard work and threw some stuff on the grill. Enjoyed the nice weather we had. We also rented some movies which we haven't done in a long time and wow the prices went up a lot. $7 a movie. Weekends are generally family time for us. They're not the relaxing do-nothing lounging around days that they used to be before we had children. But I still value them as they are times when we see our families and my daughter sees her grandparents. Apart from this they're our washing days and (sometimes) our cleaning days or gardening days, and when we do our weekly shop. Well there are times that I still work on weekends since I conduct safety trainings. There are those that would want it conducted during weekends since they are free. Though when I have no scheduled work activities, I usually go out with my family on a nature trip. It could be a day on the beach or a day in some spring. The good thing about it, is that we live very near beach resort areas, and the mountain is just a few hours ride from where we live. So usually we enjoy our weekend on those places. When my sisters are home from college my weekends are fun and hectic and I spend too much money doing stuff. When they aren't they can be just busy enough but not super slow. I like to do to the mall with my mom in the afternoons, hang out with my boyfriend at night, and have the morning to myself. Sunday night I like to have to myself so I can prepare for the rest of the week so it does not get too hectic, like prepare all my meals for the whole week that night and pick out everything to wear ahead of time foe the whole week and do any errands. Usually Saturdays are thorough house cleaning day. Normally during the week there's always picking up and tidying the house, you know, doing dishes, sweeping and vacuuming floors, laundry, etc. Saturdays, changing bedding, dusting, even more laundry, total house day. Usually done within and hour or so. Then from there on, except for meals and tidying up, it's rest and relaxation time until Monday rolls around. Sleep in late if I can, I'm not as blessed as the children and my husband. They sleep until 9am or so. I'm usually up still early, but that's cool, for it gives me some quiet time to. Surfing the net is definitely in, visiting friends and relatives if possible. Sometimes just take a 20 minute ride maybe, would like to do more, but gas prices here are still up there.
