What Is Your Favorite Disney Movie

I love all Disney Movies. Walt Disney was a genius! I remember when I was about 5 years old and I saw SNOW WHITE. What an amazing memory. I also loved the SONG OF THE SOUTH with Brair rabbit and Uncle Remus. POLLY ANNA was a good movie. If I had to pick an all time favorite, It would have to be SNOW WHITE. I remember being scared of the Wicked Queen. I loved FOX AND THE HOUND, LION KING, ALADDIN. I will say this though, I like the first Disney classics better like BAMBI, CINDERELLA, SLEEPING BEAUTY, AND LADY AND THE TRAMP. What is your favorite Disney movie? dl

My favorite is Beauty and the Beast. I saw this Disney movie when I was a child, together with my Dad and younger brother. I love the story and the music. My dad bought me the soundtrack of the movie after. I also love the theme song and its different versions. :-) This is one of my best childhood memories. [arystine]
I loved BEAUTY AND THE BEAST! Now that was a love story. I am still hoping the my beast will turn into a handsome prince. Five years and still NOTHING!lol Ialways wanted to see the play on Broadway. THE LION KING won several awards for it's broadway play. I want to see one of them this year. I was just saying to my man that I would like to go for our anniversary in July. If its still playing. dl [dloveli]

When I was a kid I would constanly watch Pollyanna. Over and over again. My parents probably wanted to shoot the VCR. I also like A Far Off Place. It costars a very young Reese Witherspoon. Oh man, that was a good movie! If anyone has not seen it, try renting it. Surely they have it on DVD now. Reese Witherspoon almost seems ageless. As for animated Disney films, my favorite is The Little Mermaid, although Cinderella has a spot in my heart too. [AmbiePam]
I have never seen the movie A FAR OFF PLACE. I am going to blockbuster on Saturday. I will see if they have it. THanks for the recommendation. I loved Arielle. I think they have so many good characters like Flounder or Sebastian. I didnt like when they made a weekly cartoon out of them though. [dloveli]

this is a tough one, since i am a fan of disney movies. i guess, the one that would be my favorite for all time would be LILO and STITCH. yes, others might not like it because stitch is not your typical cutesy and lilo is not exactly princess material. but i guess, that's exactly what i love about this movie. it's sooo unique and original. and it talks about a not so typical family relations. sweet, close to the heart, very funny but a tear jerker. so, my vote goes to lilo and stitch! you have to watch it if you haven't yet. [barnkinney]
Lilo and Stitch was good because it showed how sometimes you cant help who you love. Lilo didnt care where he was from or what he was she just loved him. It was a tear jerker in some spots. I think you made a good choice. dl [dloveli]

My favorites when I was child were Bambi and the Lady and the Tramp and they are still my favorites even at my old age! LOL! [whiteheather39]
Old Age what? Disney movies keep you young. Your only as old as the first memories you have about watching the movies. SO that makes you what? FIVE? Come one were only as old as we feel. YOu are still a teenager for cripe's sake. Pretty soon you'll be old enough to watch other movies without a chaperone. lol You are the lost Disney Princess. It was supposed to be Princess Jasmine, Cinderella, Belle, Arielle, Snow WHite, SLeeping Beauty, WHite Heather, and so on.Happy Hunting for your prince. dl [dloveli]

Oh Bambi. adn Song of the South I would like to find a cd of that movie! Its not even been I tv that I know of and really it was a very good movie loved the animals in it! [Lakota12]
I am so hoping you can find it!. But I am afraid it might be under the not political correct junk! For whyhas it NEVER been shown on tv. I think they should show it. Its al the songs and the animals and every thing that make the show and Uncle REmus telling the story! I am always singing zippity do da [Lakota12]

hidloveli oh Song of the South by all means, I was little and that was so good, I loved the music, specially that song Zippedy Do dah, zippedy ay, plenty of sunshine going my way,I have a bluebird on my shoulder, etc. see I do remember some of the songs, It was one really great movie. I liked them all but Song of the south really stuck in my mind. Wish they would show them over again, would love that. [Hatley]
Nice song there Hatley! I wish I could hear u sing it in person. I am hoping someone can tell me where to find that movie on DVD. Uncle remus was unforgettable. That is what a classic is. UNFORGETTABLE. Just like you us. We are unforgettable! lol dl [dloveli]

There are a lot to choose from but I would say Aladdin. I've seen it a lot of times but I never get tired watching it. Even my older brothers watch it with me. It's very funny especially having Genie in the movie making all sorts of characters. [mareeh]
Robin Williams made ALADDIN. He made that Genie come right off the screen. I wasnt happy when he didnt do the second one, THE RETURN OF JAFAR. I know he didnt do one of them I think it was that one. dl [dloveli]

Hi dloveli, I have to say that I really could not pick a favorite. I remember when I was a kid Disney came on Sunday nights and we were allowed to stay up and watch it before going to bed. I loved almost all of his movies. There was kind of a magic to them. They had to be great because kids today are still enjoying those same great movies! happy [sid556]

I kinda liked Bambi. I think that was a Disney film. And yes Polly Anna was also a good one. I still remember that strict aunt and Haley Mills falling out of the tree because she was trying to sneak out her bedroom window. Did you know that is who plays the part of Miss Bliss, the teacher, on Saved by the Bell? [muscles4me]
Actually Muscles, I did know that Miss Bliss and Polly Anna were one in the same. I like her. I also liked the parent trap too. I liked the remake with Lindsey Lohan but not as much. I didnt like the Disney Pixar movies too much. Buzz Lightyear didnt do it for me. Nor Woody Im afraid. Sorry TOY STORY fans. dl [dloveli]

I love Disney movies, too! ^o^ I grew up watching all those classics you mentioned- its hard to pick one favorite...I guess the DIsney movies I love most are Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Little Mermaid, Peter Pan, Lion King and Alice in Wonderland. [olisaur]
The only movie I really couldnt follow was Alice in Wonderland. Peter Pan was okay. Walt Disney was a remarkable man. His family is doing a great job carrying on the legacy. dl [dloveli]

My favorite Disney movie is snow white, because i really love the love story between snow white and prince Lenard. snow white is a simple girl and she is so beautiful so prince Lenard falling in love with him. [mlno054321]
That was my all time favorite too. I loved the dwarfs and cried like a baby when they thought snow white was dead. It broke my heart when they were all crying. Great choice.DL [dloveli]

Lady and the Tramp was my very first love story I watched. It is my absolute favorite. I also love The Lion King. I had a cat named Simba and believe me he looked like Baby Simba. I love Bambi although the movie made me cry. [randylovesdar]
I loved Lady and the Tramp! The whole spaghetti love scene was the best! I just love BAMBI! I loved NEMO the best. With his little handicapped "fin". My husband lost his hand in an industrial accident so I used to tell him it was his special fin like NEMO. Disney movies always had a way of relating to a problem so we can use it as a lesson. DL [dloveli]

High School Musical, hehe. Seriously, I love the old ones like Polly Anna and the old Parent Trap (although I liked the more recent one too, but prefer not to associate the cute twins to the current Lindsay Lohan)and Mary Poppins (was that Disney?). As for the animated movies, I remember loving Beauty and the Beast more than I did The Little Mermaid. I think I also had a crush on Simba for a time because his hair was all grunge, lol. [wahmivy]
Good choices Wahmivy! I forgot about BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. I loved that one! Im sorry you and Simba never really got a chance to hit it off. lol. I am more of a Nemo kind of girl. dl [dloveli]

In my opinion I would have to say Pirates of the Caribbean together as a full story. The directer did a very good job at making the characters come to life. By far the best movie from them of all time. this is just my opinion and others are free to have theirs. [kttribal]

Tinker Bell , UP, 9, Monster vs. Aliens, etc. many movies are too good to watch, all i can say they are to very good creators and directors specially the animators wow i can't imagine what secrets do they have to create a all most realistic animation, they're so great. I would love to watch it, for you do you love them? [john_ronald]

I love all Disney movies too. When I was a child I started to saw Disney movies. many movies are my favourite.like LITTLE PRINCESS,SNOW WHITE.and I like Disney cartoon too.like Minnie,All the Diseys things is my favourite.I will love it forever. [fairytale123]

Dont forget about Tinker Bell! This is my favorite:) [Emilycheerup]

Just like you, I love all Disney movies but the best I liked has to be Lion King...OMG it was such a beautiful reflection of real life trials and triumphs we humans face...our downfall and then the rising like the Phoenix...it was all so human and it celebrated the victory of the spirit above all odds...friendship, love, relations, conspiracy, betrayal, bravery...it had all the elements to make it a super movie. I can watch Lion King over and over again LOL [sudiptacallingu]

my favorite Disney movie is the lion king. [DOLLYBABY]

My faves are Bambi and Little Mermaid but recently I saw UP and I love it. [reeyaah7209]

My favourite is the The Jungle Book, made way back in 1967. It is an oldie, but I love it. It seems to me all the cartoons were a bit higher quality back in the day... [fejzicjasmin]
My daughter had that .. and I bought her the book when she was little. That is a good movie. [OreoCookie3]

um..probably fantasia. that one's a bit different than their usual classics. a lot of the classics i haven't seen since '74-'76 though.. [scarlet_woman]
i'm glad they're going back and cleaning up some of them. snow white was yellowish looking when i saw it in the 70's,and it was only about 40 years old then. [scarlet_woman]

Disney always has great movies. I cried during The Lion King...Toy Story was great, and of course you cant forget all the classics. But my favorite ould be the Cars movie. The animations on it are so great, n the movie is hilarious the whole way through!! I really love Mater!! [erikmama]
Ya know,I am 29,not a fan of NASCAR, racing, nor have I ever been. But when my son got this movie I just thought it was hilarious!!! Especially Mater!! I thought it had great lifelike animations as well. I of ocurse enjoy all of the classics I grew up with too such as Bambie, Mary Poppins, etc. It's crazy to see cartoons now and how theyve changed, wvwn Disney.I think everyone should make sure there kids see all the classics!! [erikmama]

My favorite Disney movie is Mary Poppins. I love that movie! One of my all time favorites. [Picquarian]
lol...I love Julie Andrews in that movie. Mary Poppins was so unconvential. [Picquarian]

Well, I don't think I can pick just one Disney movie. Almost all are my favorite. I can say that I love Peter Pan. It's something about Peter pan that makes you feel so happy inside. I also think the Jungle Book and the Lion Kong are on the list. Also, beauty and a beast as a child use to be the best. However Alice in the wonderland still has my vote. Now a days, high school musical seems to be the best. I own all of those movies. [willis_tsw]
You sound like me. It IS hard to pick just one from the many titles, especially if you own a lot of them. [niara25]

I love most Disney movies. I own 57 animated and 3 live action Disney movies. Cinderella was pure magic for me growing up. I have to get Snow White on DVD before it goes back into the vault. I don't remember being afraid of any of the bad guys, just not liking them very much. I hated Cruella DeVille. I thought she was soooo mean. I also prefer the classics, but I have several cherished ones that were made in the 1990s that became "instant classics." Those would be Beauty and the Beast and the Lion King. [niara25]

Shrek is definitely my favorite Disney movie. The first Shrek was better than the others, but I still enjoyed them all. Come on, who can resist such lovable characters such as "donkey", "Puss in Boots", and "The Gingerbread Man"? These movies are instant classics that are not just for kids, but are humorous to all ages! If you watch Shrek and do not laugh, I suggest that you go immediately to your doctor for a checkup - your x-ray may reveal that your missing an important bone (the one that's funny) Sure, there's some fart jokes in the movie; o.k. those are a little immature and low brow, but come on, who didn't laugh at "better our than in,I always say" - Good advice as well. [Rallon]
The first SHREK was better than the others. What amazed me is how they took all the fairy tale characters and kept them in their own storys but implementede them into SHREK. That movie was created by Geniuses. Oh and yes Better out than In was hilarious. It can be OURS I guess. It is GROSS if you think about it. LMAO dl [dloveli]

Lion King would be the top on my list, its a masterpiece. The storyline was amazing and heartbreaking and the picture was perfect, completely based on the wildlife setting in africa. I can still remember when we watched it and my friend cried when simba's father died. Many walt disney movies are also captivating and promoting good values especially to children. [iceman23]
I loved it too! I think they portrayed Africa wonderfully. I also heard that the Broadway play of the LION KING is excellent. I want to see it soooooo bad. I only hope my family gets the hint. If not I'll go by myself. Want to come? dl [dloveli]

I always like Dumbo but when Shrek came along, I have to say shrek is my favorite. Seems each of the movies has a personality typ for each character. My daughter liked Ariel in the Little Mermaid, she always liked to go off exploring into the unknown and wanted to have a different lifestyle than she had. My older son always liked the Lion King and wanted to wander off to have adventures and stick up for everyone around him. My youngest son always liked Aladdin, he is my wild one!! Always getting into something that keeps everyone on their toes while trying to win the affection of a certain young lady. I think I used to like Dumbo because even though he was the underdog and was always picked on, he rose above everyone else's definitions of who he would end up being and that no matter what, we all have a reason for being here whether great or small. I like Shrek now, seems it doesn't matter what someone looks like to me, it is what is on the inside that counts. [mzz663]

I have been watching disney movies since i was very little. Cant quite remember the first movie i watched. I have watched so many of them!! i think i have watched all of the ones you mentions above. The movie which i loved the most was lion king! It was a really nice movie when it first came out. Everytime i show the little ones lion king the want to watch it again. Well i guess thats how all kids are. [dh1811]

One of my favorite Disney movies a lot of the classics that you just mentioned. I also like a lot of other movies that are newer.. like Up, (not sure if that is Disney.. but I think it is).. Edward Scizzorhands.. not sure if that is Disney either.. but I think it is. I'm always borrowing my daughter's DVD's to watch on my player. [OreoCookie3]
Hey cookie! I believe that EDWARD SCISSORHANDS was put out by 20th Century Fox. Its easy to get them confused. Disney does have their hands into every thing. They do all types of movies. I could see why you thought that. It is a good movie! dl [dloveli]

There are lots, My favorite is Toy Story, The Mighty Ducks Trilogy, Snowwhite, Sleeping Beauty, Anastasia. I am really not sure if Ratatouille is from Disney too. Mary Poppins also I like old disney movies and teh # 54 car, the car that is flying, i forgot the title. Hahahaha. [grecychunny26]

I LOVE cinderella, beauty and the beast, snow white, lion king, aladdin, and sleeping beauty...im actually trying to collect what i can on dvd and so far i have pinocchio, peter pan, sleeping beauty, bambi, aladdin, snow white, 101 dalmations, and alice in wonderland. [mgmagana]

I have to say my favorite disney movie is Mary Poppins...I love the music. My second favorite would be Toy Story. I'm looking forward to seeing the new Toy Story 3 and the new Alice in Wonderland. It looks really good. [jewels1231]
