What is your favorite movie trilogy? Why?
My fave movie trilogy I would have to say is Lord of the Rings. I like the drama and the quest that they are on, it is a really good trilogy I think.

I liked all of the Matrix movies and all of the Saw movies. Those 2 are my favorite trilogys for movies. Lord of the Rings we own all of them and I haven't watched one yet I need to do that someday [Lauraleigh99]

I have three that I have to put up there. All time for me, it has to be the Original Star Wars trilogy. It was so ahead of it's time for special effects, it had worldwide appeal and a story that anyone, either a diehard or a new fan, can still appreciate, and it set the bar for Sci-Fi movies to this day. Then I go with Indiana Jones, while it still is a Trilogy. There will be another one coming out, so we'll have to see about it. But Harrison Ford was the quintessential hero in those movies and the clear good vs. evil. The last, one that I am not sure too many people will say, is the Back to the Future trilogy. I am a huge Michael J. Fox fan and I thought those movies were creative and dynamic and multi-layered in the stories. I loved how they all fit together in some unusual ways. [thrwbckjay67]
well i love the harry potter movies but i would have to say my favorite is the star wars trilogy. i grew up with it and well it has always kind of stuck with me. i never had all teh star wars stuff or anything like that but i did love the movies. i still watch them about 1 time a year my kids like them too. i have never seen any of the lord of the rings but i might have to watch them at some point i know alot of people like them. my husband loves the saw movies he watches them about every 4 months lol i like them too. star wars was just a classic [easymoney75503]

My fav. movie trilogy is the matrix..........i luv the whole series of it: 1. Matrix 2. Matrix Reloaded 3. Matrix Revolutions I am not interestred in the story of the movie.lol.I am still under the process to understand it.haha...but I luv those 3 for their actions. The action is out of the world. humm that is a hard one for me..I loved the Scream trilogy's..they just got better and better as it went..and i didnt think that they could top the first one...and i loved seeing what hair style Courtney Cox had next..lol..and it was of the feww mocies that made me jump..alot! lol.. The Lord of the Rings is my favorite trilogy of all time. It's the only movie that made me pay extra only to reserve movie tickets because I'm afraid the movie theater will be too full when we get there, and I was right. I could watch it over and over but wouldn't get tired of it, there is something in the movie that excites me everytime I watch it. [lafavorito]
Lord of the Rings.. its a great film and book... its not boring if you really get into it... it has great effects, characters, soundtrack, creatures, and of course story line.... just great.... although i'm very looking forward to the final installment of Pirates of the Caribbean....AT WORLDS END... my favorite used to be star wars but then it became a sequel.. so i really can't put it here... so i would definitely go with LOTR... The Spider-Man series shows how Peter Parker's character changes into something of an ideal for all of us to take lessons from. That's also the ssame for Neo of the Matrix trilogy as well as Frodo in the LOTR series, where other characters also face their fears and weaknesses and get thrust between the choices of good and evil. My favorite of the three choices? I'd have to pick Spider-Man, although the third installment isn't out yet. [alvinwriter]
Lord of the Rings is definitely one of my favorites. The other trilogy that I enjoyed most is Star Wars. They are the fourth, fifth and the sixth episodes. Now that there are the three new ones but I still prefer the original three. [shakeroo]

Mine has to be Back To The Future as i like sci-fi and especially time travel movies, and it is engaging and fun. [islander7]
OH man trying to think on this one is not easy. There are several that I really enjoy. "Lord of The Rings" is one but also "Indianna Jones", "Die Hard", "Back to the Future" and "X-Men" are ones that I love to watch. I'm not really sure I could pick one over the other. A lot depends on the day as to which one I'll watch and what mood I am in. They are all good in their own way and very different. Out of them though if I was going to pick one I'd have to say "X-Men", I think :) It's one I will pop in most often but not sure if that's because I like it or because the others in the house aren't keen on some of the others. Trilogy, I only have one The Back to the Future 1, 2,3. But i favor lots of series movies.THere's the Star wars, Harry Potter, Terminator, Superman,etc. There's also the James Bond collection. I just like these movies because i like to know what happens to the characters and also i want to know the ending so i would understand everything. [cryztal_hh]
