What Is Your Favourite Tv Program

I haven't had a favourite TV program for some time. I hardly ever get time to watch TV nowadays with taking my daughter to swimming training. However, a new series has begun in Australia. It is called "Patrol Boat". It is a drama based on the navy patrolling our northern waters to stop illegal activities. We have a lot of illegal activities occur, such a fishing in our waters, illegal immigrants, catching protected fish, & more seriously, bringing in drugs to Australia. This drama series has some excellent actors too. Fortunately I am home from my daughters swimming just before it starts each thursday night. Wjat is your Favourite TV program?

Theres a show on I think the History Channel or Discovery Channel called "How It's Made". Each half hour show has 2 or more different items on that show us how it's made from start to finish. I've seen them make canoes, generators, light bulbs, wrenches, trucks, tarctors, different foods etc. You get the idea. Anything and everything in time is shown on this show. I like seeing how things are made then I slap my forehead saying, "Ohhh so thats "Hoe It's Made". Hmmm?" HAHAHA! HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~ [webeishere]
That is the sort of program my hubby would LOVE. He is a very "handy" man. [jennybianca]

I haven't heard of that show yet. I'll try to remember to watch it this Thursday. My favourite shows are; Thank God You're Here, Desperate Housewives, Simpsons, Extras (when it was on), Chaser's War On Everything, The Office (when it was on) and Buffy (when it was on) [nikkiwith]
I aslo like Desperate Housewives very much.Firstly,it reminds me that nobody is perfect and every family has its own trouble.Secondly, the plots are interesting and attractive. [Far525]

I do not have any favourite programme as such. I like to watch cricket, especially in Star Sports and ESPN wherein they telecast some classic matches. I am from India where people are passionate about cricket. I think you should be knowing a lot about cricket, because Australia is the No.1 Team in the World in Cricket. [nrsatish29]
Yes, cricket is watched a great deal here too. [jennybianca]

I am glad you have a t.v. show you like. My favorite show now is L.A. Ink. It is a show about a new tattoo parlor in L.A.My other is Miami Ink. It is about, you guessed it, a tattoo shop in Miami. [sarahruthbeth22]

My favorite program is Perry Mason. This show is only on in reruns and I watch it at lunch time each week day. Each show, Perry must figure out who did the crime and he solves it with help from other people. The show is based on Earle Stanley Gardner, who had been a local resident, but has passed away sadly. He was a great lawyer in this area, who never lost a case. The building that he worked in still stands and is quite interesting to see. [Fishmomma]
I have heard of this show, but dont think we have it in Adelaide TV. [jennybianca]

My favorite television programs are "Heroes", "Kyle XY", "Who Wants To Be A Superhero?", and "Gargoyles". [rogue13xmen13]

I am currently staying in Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City) and even here you can get plenty of the AFL football . Still my favourite TV. plus the Discovery Channels. [18071963]
Yes, the Discovery channels are very interesting & educational. [jennybianca]

I do not watch very much TV at home, except for 2 or 3 hours a night. My current favourite TV program is Prison Break. This is one of the series I follow quite diligently. But you may be surprised if I tell you that aside from TV serials, my favourite program is the half hour local English news that comes on every night. I'm very interested in current affairs and news happenings both in my country and around the world, so I find the news program very interesting to follow. Last night, I also saw the first episode of a new weekly show "America's Got Talent", and boy, what an interesting and entertaining show it was. It reminds me of a previous show "30 secs of fame", which also showcased talented people showing off their skills. [lexus54]
I wathed Prison Break for a while, ,but I just couldn't get into it. It went too slow for me. I love the news too. [jennybianca]

In TV I would like to watch reality programs like - Indian Idol, Voice of India etc., and NGC & Discovery. Ofcourse I find time to watch news channels too. [gloria777]
Most reality shows I don't like, except Australian Idol.. Discovery is a very good program. [jennybianca]

My favorite program is Big Brother 8 and Desperate Housewives. However Desperate Hosewives has been running reruns now. I am ready for the new stuff. [UDDERONES]
I don't like Big Brother, but I do like Desperate Housewives. [jennybianca]

hi! like you I haven't had a favourite TV shows for a couple of years but lately I'm enjoying the "Bachelor-Paris" and "The biggest Losers" - I am so motivated to do what the contestants do..plus I love to hear how their lives was changed because they lost weight. I am also enjoying "Americas Top Model"..I guess I'm enchanted by reality shows..LOL [cefaz_21]
I am not always into reality shows. I did like a couple of the Batchelor shows, but they don't show them anymore. [jennybianca]

Your words wake up my memories. There was a very famous sitcom in the USA during 80s, which is The Pain of Growth.I like it very much. It portrays a common family with 3 children and their bitter and sweet.I liked Mike very much, the eldest child of the family. He was humorous, smart, kind but naughty. From these three child, I can recall a lot of things about my life and childhood. In my eyes, it is specially worthy of watching for parents, because they will meet alot of troubles similiar from the sitcom. In addition, I like Friends very much.It is the shadow of the real world. How face love and friendship, loyalty and lie and so on, they are also questions we need to solve. The attractive actors and humorous plots are very important elements. [Far525]
I am not familar with The Pain of Growth. I have heard of Friends, but don't watch it. [jennybianca]

Right Now I dont have a favorite tv program either, everything is reruns. The thing my husband and I love to watch is the brewer game. They are in first place right now and its very exciting to watch them. If they are not on we ususally watch reruns of law and order because there are alot of shows we have not seen. [dianel]
I don't know what the brewer game is? I agree that there is not much on TV. [jennybianca]

As you know I live in Scotland pal and yet my favourite progs ate thee soaps . I especially like the Australian ones , Home and Away and neighbours xx [weemam]

Right now my favorite program is Dirty Jobs, on the Discovery Channel. It's about a guy who goes to people's jobs to learn how they do their work. He visits the unsung heroes, if you will. The blue collar jobs, or the jobs no one else wants to do. He's been a dog groomer, a sewer cleaner, an ostrich farmer, a tanner (deer tannery), firefighter, construction worker, and more. [AmbiePam]
I have not heard of that program, but it sounds quite worthwhile. [jennybianca]

I like the show "Heros" it is a new show that started last year on NBC. But there are some others...CSI, House, Ghost Whisperer, ER, and Grey's Anatomy [shambuca]

Thanks for this discussion u made me recall my fun days.....thanks again jenny [ArienKing]
I am not familar with those programs, except The Wonder years, which I don't think I ever watched. [jennybianca]

I find that Patrol Boat makes for some good Aussie viewing of an evening, I do however make sure that I am of the computer to see House every week. [spasticseagulls]
I have tried watching House a few times, but I can't take to it. I think there is some guy in it, (a Doctor) who is up himself!! [jennybianca]

We Get Law & Order too. I get a bit bored with it sometimes. My hubby likes it as he is a Police Officer. [jennybianca]

The only television show I ever watch is the reality program SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE?...a lot of entertainment mixed into that show and the judges are way more fun than the stuffy old American Idol [ArsonCuff]
We have a dance competition type program, with a lot of tv star, sports people, etc in it. I am not that into it, but my Mum loves it. [jennybianca]

I love the Wife Swap show. It is amazing to see what goes on in other peoples homes. [jennybianca]

A long time ago I used to watch an australian series about rescue in the australian coast. It was a nice show, way much better than Baywatch, for instance. Too bad I couldn't see it anymore. They just stopped showing it here in my country. I think I would like to see this new series you are talking about. As for your question, my favorites shows now are Lost, Bones, Dexter, Criminal Minds, House. [Daelin]
Yes, I remember the rescue p[rogram you are talking about. Patrol Boat will probably come to your country eventually. [jennybianca]

Unfortunately I have a lot of favorite t.v. shows. I can't miss an episode of Grey's Anatomy, the new show Greek, One Tree Hill, Heroes and October Road. Although there were a lot of new shows last year, I forced myself to keep busy while they were on because I didn't want to get hooked. However, I did recently get hooked on the show My Boys after they ran the first season marathon. Oh well!! [racheld]
I don't know what My Boys is or October Road? [jennybianca]

WEll, I have a few. I like the Closer -- I think Kyra Sedgwick is excellent in that. Such a cute quirky character. Then there are is a Showtime series, Dexter, that's really good. Also an HBO one called "Big Love." But those last two, my sister tapes for me because I don't get those channels! [cremechese51]
I am not familiar with Closer or Dexter. [jennybianca]

hello my favorite t.v. show is The Young and the Restless. i have watched this soap opera for years...it stays so interesting...do you watch it? The Young and the Restless - did you know? The Young and the Restless (commonly abbreviated as Y&R) is a popular American television soap opera, first broadcast on CBS on March 26, 1973. Y&R was created by William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell, who set their show in a fictional version of Genoa City, Wisconsin, a town near their annual vacation home in Lake Geneva. When it debuted, Y&R storylines originally examined the domestic and professional lives of two core families in Genoa City: the wealthy Brooks and the poor Fosters. After a series of recasts and departures in the early 1980s, the show has focused more on the Abbotts and the Newmans, including the corporate rivalry between their two respective companies. However, one basic plot that has run throughout almost all of Y&R's history is the rivalry between Jill Foster Abbott and Katherine Chancellor. The series was originally broadcast as half-hour episodes, five times a week. It was expanded to one-hour episodes on February 1, 1980. Y&R is currently the highest-rated daytime drama on American television. As of 2006, it has appeared at the top of the weekly Nielsen Ratings in that category for more than 900 weeks since 1988. Y&R has won seven Daytime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Drama Series; only General Hospital has won more times (nine). [RLFinNash]
