For me, we rented "Man of the Year" with Robin Williams. It was okay, a bit of a disappointment for me though. I love Robin Williams and while I think he made the movie, the entire thing was a little slow going.

I think it's been Zodiac....it's a great movie, but i think it's too long...it lasts like 2 horus and 40 minutes...i'd erase 40 minutes and the result would be better i think. But still i recommend it. [LightninStrike]
We watched Madea Family Reunion Friday night on DVD and I found it to be a bit disappointing too. It was very slow taking off and I almost turned it off. It was not nearly as funny as what I had heard others say it was. Don't you hate let downs on movies where others rave about a movie and you find it so-so? [kareng]
I hate when you SEE the best parts in the previews that suck u in to see the movie!!!! Aggrevating that you paid to see what you saw for free and it didnt' get any better!!! LOL [hockeygal4ever]
The last new movie I've seen was, Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan. This movie was so sinfully funny I laughed so hard I was crying. I watched a dvd the other night, which was in a three pack, and it was Double Jeopardy, with Tommy Lee Jones and Ashley Judd. Was quite a good movie. The others in the pack were also very good, with several twists, and they were Along came a spider, with Morgan Freeman, and Kiss the Girls, also with Morgan Freeman and Ashley Judd. [muscare]
for me it was a film called click. I ghad never heard of it and a friend got me a copy on cd. It is great, how i wish i could freeze time like that blessed be [ESKARENA1]
Last movie i watched From director Michael Mann and based on the 1980's television series comes this flashy, but overlong and unfocused Miami actioner about Vice detectives Sonny Crockett (Farrell) and Ricardo Tubbs (Foxx) who must go deep undercover and throw their personal lives into disarray in order to stop an international drug trafficking scheme. Pulls you in with its stylish direction and flamboyant visual scheme, but the two leads have poor chemistry, character development is almost nonexistent, and the film drags on from one convoluted plot twist to the next. Action scenes provide a spark every once in a while, but overall the film is frustrating and never provides one single reason to care about any of its characters! A disappointment considering the cast and crew involved. ** I was disappointed and i guess the TV series spoiled things I think when you have an outstanding series on TV that runs several years and then they make a movie with the two leading characters changed it is not the same I loved Mission Impossible the TV series but i just could not get Tom Cruise in that role etc etc [vmks31]

I watch movies with my daughter every day - usually the same ones over & over coz we watch the ones she likes but the last one i saw, this afternoon was The Grinch - definitely one of my favourites, it's hilarious! Oh silly me, there was a movie on TV tonight that i watched too - Stuart Little 2 was on so i watched that as well. It seems odd watching HOUSE be a loving, friendly family, don't you think? I plan on hiring a movie or 2 some time this week - i have seen all our collection so many times & we have a pretty decent sized collection! [Gemmygirl1]

I watched Catch and Release with Jennifer Garner last weekend. It was cute....not amazing or anything, but cute. I am going to watch Jack Black's movie, Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny tonight. I love him, so I hope it's really funny. [dfn12968]

I agree... Man of the Year was very disappointing for me. I can honestly say he actually carried the movie though.. it was so slow and actually boring. The last movie that I watched was "Ghost Rider" starring Nicholas Cage and Eva Mendez. It was a pretty good movie and had lots of great action and great special effects. It was not my favorite movie of all the time but not the worst either. Nicholas is a good actor and of course Eva Mendez is very good as well as being very attractive. Hopefully tomorrow I will be seeing The Fantastic Four - Rise of the Silver Surfer. [kgwat70]
I always end up going to movies like Fantastic Four with a date because they usually are dying to see it and in the end really do enjoy it. So I should just fess up and admit I have some messed up hormone that lets me like those kind of movies along with sports! There was a repeat on tv of the second Bridget Jones movie. It is called Bridget Jones Diary - The Edge of Reason. It is very funny movie and I think I could watch it again and still enjoy it. Bridget is played by Renee Zellweger. I also enjoyed the first film some years ago. I guess they will not be making a third Bridget movie? [organiclady35]

The last movie I have watched is "The invincible" with Mark Wahlberg. I loved it, it's inspired by the true story of a football player #83. I just bought another one called "The Guardian" with Kevin Costner and Ashton Kutcher and I will watch it. I'll let you know once I watch it. [mimatexas]
I rented and watched a rather disturbing movie called Little Children....It had a very creepy character in it..it was interesting yet had an unsettling subject matter...Hard to describe other than interestingly directed and acted with some very intriging scenes...but the underlying subject matter was uncomfortable.. We just had three movies from Netflix that were pretty good. Mr Fix-it with David Boreanaz,it was very good. The Holiday and Relative Strangers. All of them were movies I would see again. We usually watch in groups of three. [suscan]

I watched "Daddy's Little Girl's", a movie written and produced by Tyler Perry. It was really good. It held my interest throughout the whole movie. It shows what a man goes through in order to keep his daughters/girls. There were some funny parts, and some scary parts in it. You can feel what the character is feeling and that is what I like the most. [favorgrays]

I just got done watching Charlotte's Web last night with my kiddos, and the last adult movie I watched was The Holiday which I watched last week while I was on vacation. Both movies were great! I am using a free trial for Netflix right now and I am trying to decide if I want to go with them or back to Blockbuster. I just finished watching spiderman three. My cousin came over and she had not seen it yet. The movie was more of a love story. The super couple were seeing the things that they did not like in each other. MJ had a jelous streak. Peter was so full of himself that he could not see anyone but himself. A relationship can not work if there is no communication and when there is jelousy involved. The show did have some good action scenes but they really did not work for me. I did not like the second spiderman so I was not surprised when I did not like this one. The good spiderman vs the bad spiderman was a story line that I just thought was over done. I have seen Robin Williams man of the year as well as his new one. I can not remember the title but he is a minister and counceling a couple before they get married. That show was funny and worth seeing again as soon as I can remember its name. [sizzle3000]
