What was the last movie you watched? Was it a good movie or do you wish you didn't see it? Was it at home or at a theatre? The last movie I saw was Underdog... cute movie but I was glad I didn't spend $10 at the theatre to watch it.

responses and comments:
The last movie I had watched would be "The golden Compass" but I'm really sad that I watched it in home. It would be really great to watch this movie in theatre. I was dying to watch this movie from the starting but because of the lack of time I simply rented the DVD and watched it. I really like this movie. It was simply great. [diillu]
Not a whole lot of people realize but libraries are a great place to get DVDs for 'free'. The only drawback with my library is the wait-time on these movies, usually 2 weeks or more. But other than that, they have been great. [zeloguy]
As I write this Brokeback Mountain is airing. I had to see it. It is Heath Ledger's best role. [sarahruthbeth22]
Checked my mailbox and it is not here yet... hopefully it will make it by tomorrow so I don't have to wait 'til Tuesday. [zeloguy]
I watched a Series of Unfortunate Events at my client's last week. It was cute, but I'm also glad I didn't go to the theater to see it. [ElicBxn]
It was hard for me to pay attention to the movie, it kinda went in a bunch of different tangents and really wasn't tied together all that well but once I got myself through it the second time I was able to appreciate is much better. The acting was actually very good. [zeloguy]
LOL does falling asleep to a movie count?? Last night I attempted to watch The Invasion (w/Nicole Kidman) but nodded off....from what I saw it was good...I'll be watching it today actually, the whole thing LOL.. [Ravenladyj]
Many of Kidman's performances have been like that lately. In fact I think there was a story done about the most overpaid actresses and she was won of them. The other I clearly remember was Sandra Bullock. [zeloguy]
I guess that was DOA, that movie was quite old already but I love watching over and over again. [mjweed21]
Don't know if I have ever seen that I will have to look it up to see if I will like it or not. [zeloguy]
The last movie I saw was I am legend and that was in the cinima. It was a great movie, but my mother and sister thought that it was a bit scary. It was very suspensful especially at the end of the movie where he pulls the grenade to save the others. [bradthechamp]
That is a great movie... a little on the gory side but still a really well done flick. [zeloguy]
I just watched "We Are Marshall"...a DVD I borrowed from the library. I really liked it...great acting, uplifting story, and awesome soundtrack. I love most football movies I've seen...Remember the Titans, Friday Night Lights, Jerry Maguire...even Waterboy and Varsity Blues. [brimia]
I'll try to pass the message on to her again that sports movies are not about sports, and even when they are (Caddyshack & Major League come to mind) they are extremely funny and poke fun at the sport they are portraying or in the case of Field of Dreams it is a very deep and moving story. [zeloguy]
I refuse to go to a theater to see a movie there isnt any movie good enough that I cant wait until its out on DVD so i can watch it in the comfort of my own home the last movie I watched was Saw 3 I am foaming at the mouth to go buy Saw 4 so I can see it [zukepr]
i too can wait for the DVD..as the seats are not that comfortable..lol..and I would rather be able to pause and stop the movie for any reason..but then again some movies should be seen on the BIG SCREEN with a audience and the audience effect has effect on the viewer somethime..like the laugh tracks on the comedy movies...its nice to be able to see the whole thing without any distraction from the phone or people asking you to do something..like take the dog out..lol [asawako48162]
Last movie i was watching is "Firewall" act by Harisson Ford, watched at HBO. good film 3 stars film (3/5) but if you want 5 stars film i recommend this film: "Mission impossible III" (2006) [aesopm]
I really thought more could be done with Firewall and Mission Impossible III was... worth the wait I guess but it wasn't the edge-of-your-seat flick that I would have expected from a movie that had so many delays in it. That and the fact of the weird stuff that has been going on with Tom Cruise... that always lingers in the back of your head but he is a darn good actor for sure. [zeloguy]
The last movie I watched was a movie called The Last Soldier. Have to be honest, apparently it wasn't that interesting because I fell asleep in the first thirty minutes. [miller1978]
That's another one I don't believe I have heard of. I will have to look for it and see if it is worth putting on my rental list. [zeloguy]
the last movie i watched was 100 pounds beauty.. it's a nice story.. it shows how inside beauty can be loved by people.. no need of plastic surgeries in order to be accepted by the society.. [baebieDARNA30]
Cool. With hit shows like 'Ugly Betty', and new stars like Queen Latifa and others who don't fit the Hollywood 'type' it is great to see that ordinary people can be just that... ordinary people. [zeloguy]
I just watched ¨Death at a funeral¨ at home, and it was a funny one... =))) And yesterday I watched the Blood Diamond. It was a great movie, and had it all, the action, the drama, it was great. =) [Kerber]
It's a f***ed up situation. People are getting exploited all over the world, not just Africa. And as long as the laws aren't strong, and there is a demand in supply, things like this will always be able to take place anywhere in the world. [Kerber]
The last movie we saw was Knocked Up. We thought is was funny and very good. The story line was a "real" life thing. I REFUSE to go to the theatre anymore. Have to wait til they come out on DVD. [stylist7698]
Knocked Up was a stupid stupid movie but it WAS funny and that is why I liked it so much. I agree with the theatre and there are ideas I have about that but that is for another post. [zeloguy]
The latest movie that I watched is for Jet Li the War with Stat Johnson... I hope I have the good memory on who is with him. [cherylal]
Anything with Jet Li in it has to be a good movie. [zeloguy]
I am legend. Quite a good movie, the ending was kinda... eh... corny? [eoeoeo]
Haven't seen that yet but it is one I will definately put on my to see even if the ending is corny. [zeloguy]
The last movie I saw was I am Legend. My son wanted to see it so I took him. I had to hide my eyes at a couple parts.lol It was pretty good, but not really my kind of movie. [OURDEW]
My son is 16.:) [OURDEW]
I just signed up for a trial offer for Netflix and I got my first movie last week. I watched Rush Hour 3. I though it was funny. I like Chris Tucker he's funny. I think Jackie Chan is a little too old to be doing all those stunts but if he does them more power to him. [dreamy1]
They said Rush Hour 3 was the same ole same ole. I was like GREAT! I loved the movie. Wasn't as good as the first two but still was a laugher. [zeloguy]
Last movie I watched was "The Professional" with Jean Reno. I had a couple of friends drop by unexpectedly and they all wanted to watch that movie, which was alright by me cus i LOVE that movie ^-^ pretty much all of Luc Besson's work is pure genius! haha. [linkmasta]
Don't think I have seen that yet. I will have to check and see if I can find a trailer for it to see if I would like it or not. [zeloguy]
the last movie I watched was at home, it was called "The Tree of the Wooden Clog" It is an Italian film which documents peasant Italian life at the turn of the century - it is not really a story per se, but just like being there peeking into their life for a brief moment... I did enjoy it very much, I think most Traditional minded Catholics would. [Modestah]
The only Italian movie I can remember watching (in Italian) was Life is Beautiful with Roberto Benini and it is one of my top movies and my #2 favorite foreign film of all time (behind Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon). [zeloguy]
Don't laugh ok! The last film I watched was last Sunday night, Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, the latest one with Johnny Depp! I have seen it about three times now! I love the film, I never get bored with it. It's a great family film, with lots of humour and it's a real feelgood, relaxing moving that you just can crash out too, not too much thinking as everyone knows the plot. I bought the dvd cheaply at the local supermarket because I know I will watch it time after time after time! Sad eh! [wolfie34]
I actually watched that on my Zune when my wife was in the hospital and I was there just waiting around while she was in surgery. I have never seen it in anything bigger than that... I am sure it would be more enjoyable. I really liked the movie. [zeloguy]
In the theatre i paid six fifty to see tom hanks..charlie wilsons war and i like that very much..very informative but a friend told me to watch "the last king of scotland" and that was a rented dvd but I enjoyed this too...a movie called BadASS? about some young guys doint their thing..quite funny,, but I like the Transformer too...like you ..i still am a child at heart...so many movies..so little time [asawako48162]
thanks for the input..i don't believe the movie critics..most of the time I don't always agree with two thumbs up or two thumbs down..by any movie critic.. i have to see the film myself or get a friend whos taste is like mine..but I did see "the last king of scotland" and I like that and I usually like this type of movie about Amin..also Downfall was good as it was about the Downfall of Adolph Hitler told my his private secretary...but it had subtitles.. I watch a lot of movies from all over the world and they all have subtitles..sometimes I like to do this even on American movies as I have problems with my ears and too much noise is bad for my nerves..so i don't like to wear head phones or my hearing aides so i use the sub titles..it is more relaxing to me but sometimes you have to read very fast..lol [asawako48162]
i haven't seen Underdog and i don't think i want to see it. it seems like for kids only. ^__^;; but my mother actually wanted to watch this before. the last movie i saw was Sweeny Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street and i just so loved it! Johnny Depp was so amazing there and he may not have the fantastic vocals but he sure did make an effective portrayal of an angry and vengeful Mr. Todd. and he sang like a rockstar which was suitable for his character. i loved the singing even if i can't understand some of it because they were singing so fast. ^__^;; i do still remember some of it and i just love the "no one's gonna harm you, no one's gonna hurt you, not when i'm around..." part, and also the "hey sir, you sir, how about a shave? i don't want redemption, i want retribution, i will get revenge.." or something like that, and "I'll steal you joanna, i feel you joanna..", and the song sang by Johnny Depp at the start of the story. ^__^ i love the gore too even if Mr. Todd's blood looked like hot chili at the end of the movie. ^__^;; [secretbear]
I actually watched Underdog last night on the computer while I was working (that's when the 22'' widescreen monitor comes in handy) and it was kinda childish. There weren't many laughs and there was only one very quick glimpse of the throwback Underdog I remember as a kid. [zeloguy]
I think that the last movie that I watched was the marine with John Cena...It was a really good movie prob. one of the best movies that I had ever saw...I really do wish that they would make a second part to the marine because like i said it was a really good movie...I watched it at home because I went to blockbuster and bought that movie along with a few others....I think I paid about seven or eight dollars for it but I would have gladly have paid the ten dollars to watch that movie in movie theaters(and if you know me you know that i wont say that very often) [jhl930]
Wow that is one I haven't seen yet. Another wrestler gone actor. I am glad to hear that you liked it, I will definately have it on my list of must-sees. That is the thing about the theatre... if you see something that is just total crap and you go: OK self, you just paid $10 for a ticket $15 on refreshments times two cause I took my significant other... I just paid $50 to watch a piece of junk. I can completely understand how you feel. Then there are movies you watch on DVD and you go sheesh I really would have liked to see this on the big screen. I kinda helped myself out by buying a 50'' plasma TV and hooked it up to my surround sound. I haven't gotten the high-def blu-ray DVD yet so I am still watching at 480p (instead of 1080p) but it is a lot better than watching on my old 27'' tube tv. [zeloguy]
the last movie i watched was a dollar store movie that had 3 movies on it there was maybe i'll come home in spring with sally field, ginger in the morning with sissy spacek and choices with demi moore. i haven't seen the demi moore one yet but the other two are pretty good movies there old ones tho. ginger in the morning was made in 1974. maybe i'll come home in spring was made in 1971. and choices in 1981 [mouse27]
OK I was just going off what Blockbuster was telling me. I'll believe the DVD more than them and I will definately check the dollar stores. If I can get them for $1 that is cheaper than renting them [zeloguy]
wel i had seen i hindi movie thats sunday released on last friday n its an awesome movie i think u must go n watch it it'll make u mad n people wil actually call u mad because it is so hilarious [sahermann]
The last movie that I've watched is "Shooter" by Mark Wahlberg. Its great and I loved it. [sakuramitchie028]
That is another movie I have yet to watch I need to get the DVD fired up and start watching more movies! [zeloguy]
The last movie I watched was The girl next door.It was so sad,I cried I could not believe people could be so cruel. They say it can happen all around you. This is a horrible way to treat someone. It was a very moving film. I watched it at home,on a free website. [jezzmay]
I just finished watching A Might Heart with Angelina Jolie. It's about the murder of Daniel Pearl the jounalist. Very good movie, and Jolie was excellent. Shame she didn't get more awards attention. [bochco123]
I watch a DVD every day instead of watching television. So... the movie I watched last night was "Apocalypto". Not a bad movie... but not what I expected. Here is a quick list of good movies I have seen recently. - Die Hard 4 - Blood Diamond - Simone - The Story of Us - Two weeks notice - The Muse - The Holiday - Love and War - Tempted - The constant gardener [Aussies2007]
It was "Shattered" with (thanks Netflix). It is a psychological thriller my favorite movies)..When their little girl is abducted by a kidnapper (Pierce Brosnan) with an elaborate scheme, Neil (Gerard Butler) and Abby's (Maria Bello) perfect life is instantly turned upside down. With the clock ticking on their daughter's life, the couple is forced to comply with the whims of a madman. I think the ending was unexpected but great. [whiteheather39]
Hello zeloguy The last movie I watched was Number 23, with Jim Carrey. The movie was okay, but I couldn't seem to get past Jim Carrey. I saw the movie on HBO (or one of those sorts of channels) Monday night. [Transdisc]
I have seen just about all his movies and this is one I have not seen yet. It seems with Jim Carrey it is a big hit or a big bust... no in between. [zeloguy]
We rented a movie last week from the movie store called License To Wed. It was a pretty good movie. I had seen the previews on tv when it was in the theater and had wanted to see it but never got to the theater. So when I saw it in the store I got it and rented it. [sweetgirl_k1]
That was a pretty cool movie. I wasn't sure if I was going to like it or not but I was pleasantly suprised. [zeloguy]
I've actually the last movie I watched in a movie theatre was Pirates of the Carribean 3 and The Devil Wears Prada. And that was a long time ago. I've really been trying to save some money to pay for loans after I finish college. I don't mind borrowing DVDs from the library. (it's free!) [mishastar]
Pirates 3... we all knew that was going to be good. The Devil Wears Prada. OMG, what a performance by Merrell Streep. How could she be such a b**ch through that whole movie. Unbelieveable performance. I was extremely suprised I liked the film. I watched it just 'cause my wife wanted to watch it and I found it to be one of the best films of the year. [zeloguy]
I don't go to the theatre very often. The loudness of the sound and the huge screen make me dizzy and nauseaus. It has to be a movie I really want to see to get me in there - like Hairspray, which is the last movie I saw in the theatre. Then we bought the DVD for Christmas. However, we also bought Shrek the Third which I watched the other night. It was hilarious seeing all the innuendos of other movies. My 14 year old didn't even catch them until I pointed them out to her, and it was her second or third time watching the movie. The voice of the Queen is played by Julie Andrews who was Maria in The Sound of Music. During Shrek The Third she bangs her head against the wall and becomes dizzy and starts humming the song "Favourite Things" from the Sound of Music. We rolled through the credit, checked the stars' names and then went back to listen to them to see if it sounded like them - like Regis Philbin as a barmaid. It's a movie you can watch over again and see things you missed before because so many things happen so fast. I loved the movie. [patgalca]
I even found some similarities to "High School Musical", but maybe that's just me. LOL! [patgalca]
The last movie I watched was 27 Dresses at the theater. I watch movies online once in a while...but I find the color a bit dark. My husband and I try to go to the movies when there is something good playing. My kids are old enough now, so that I don't need a sitter...so we tend to go more now. Nadine [Nadinest]
I haven't heard of that movie. I will have to do my reasearch on it. [zeloguy]
The last movie I saw was Mr.Woodcock. It was an ok movie. It had one part in it where I cracked up laughing but the rest of the movie wasnt that great. I watched it at home on the internet for free. I think movie theaters are just to expensive to go to. Another movie I had just watched was Juno and that was a great movie! Very funny and emotional at the end. Recommend it to everyone. More of a chick movie though. [myworkid1987]
We have a a place here where It only cost a dollar to rent older movies and the really older ones is 2 for a dollar. The new releases are usually around 3 bucks form on night. Sometimes if Im broke and want to watch a movie Ill just go to one of the sites where you can watch the free and watch a movie there. [myworkid1987]
I have to admit that I've fallen behind with watching movies. I'll get back to normal soon, I like watching movies. [Estina54]
The last movie I watched was "Over the Hedge," but I didn't watch it all the way through because I've seen it at least ten times by now. (LOL) I own it, so I can watch it whenever I want. It's a pretty cute movie, but you have to be in the mood, I guess, which wasn't true of this last time I tried to sit down and watch. The last movie I watched all the way through was "Transformers," which is my favorite movie that was made in 2007. I love the Camaro because I own a '96 T-top and so want to trade mine in to buy the new one (even though it's not available yet). I bought two copies of the movie, one for my dad and one for my boyfriend for Christmas because I love it so much. I've seen it twice now. Both the two movies I mentioned I watched in the comfort of my own family room. I don't go to movies too much because I don't have time to make an extra trip out anywhere usually and going to the movies is so expensive nowadays! I usually just end up buying the movie and watching it at home. By the time you rent the movie either you've already paid for half of it. I buy them and if I don't like them, I give them away, trade them in at game/movie stores, or sell them at garage sales. It's all good! Great discussion, Zelo. [JJ4Ever]
Over the Hedge was awesome. I really loved it. It was light and airy and you didn't have to have your thinking cap on for the whole movie. You could just sit back and relax. Transformers, I wasn't sure about that movie. I skipped watching it in the theatre and then I heard how successful it was I had to see it so I saw it the day it came out on DVD. Even my puny surround sound was pounding out the bass in the crashes. It was stunning. And of course the visuals were incredible. [zeloguy]
the last movie i'v watched is cloverfield .. it was okay .. too bad it was long time ago .. i'v missed all the good movies like rambo .. [aconites]
I haven't seen Cloverfield yet... I will have to put that on my list of movies to watch. [zeloguy]
It was a James Cagney movie on TCM that started about Marathon Dancing. I did not see all of it. I mostly watch women in danger films. We get the Movie Channel, but the last movie I saw in full was The Godfather Part III on A & E. Most of the time, we do not go to the Theater, so we watch the movies on the Movie Channels and if we have already seen the movies, we switch channels. [suspenseful]
I used to switch the channels to when I have already seen a movie but I have found if I watch a movie a couple of times I pick up a lot of stuff I missed the first time around. One thing I will not do is start a movie in the middle. If I haven't seen it and it's already started then I'm changing the channel. [zeloguy]
The last movie I watched in the theaters was "Enough" with Jennifer Lopez... in 2002! It was good, I loved how empowered she became towards the end. The last movie I saw on DVD was "Elf" with Will Ferrell. It was actually pretty cute, and was perfect for the holidays! [goodnightmoon]
"Enough" is targeted more towards women, with an empowering theme. Not award worthy, but still, an enjoyable film. "Elf" was great! Kind of cheesy, but still adorable the whole way through! I've only seen it once, but I could see it again and still love it. [goodnightmoon]
This past weekend we watched "The Game Plan" with The Rock. It was good family movie. I am so behind on movies, since my girls are 11 and 6, we tend to watch what they want to watch. LOL The last movie at the theater we saw was Alvin and the Chipmunks. This is one we will be buying for our collection. We don't go to the movies too often since it is so expensive. I would rather wait for them to come out at Redbox. We rented the Simpsons and I was very disappointed. I am glad we didn't see it at the theater. [kimbers867]
The girls and I liked the Chipmunks for different reasons. Some innuendo's that went right over there head. I'm hoping it comes out for an Easter release. [kimbers867]
The last movie I saw in theaters was Sweeney Todd. I loved it. Last night I watched Howl's Moving Castle at home... which is just AMAZING. Miyazaki films are brilliant. :) [hitsuzen_x]
I have been wanting to see HMC for a while now and went to rent it the other day, but they only had it to buy. I was pretty bummed. I have heard so many good things about it though! [hayleyhavoc]
The last movie I saw was No Country for Old Men. It was fabulous! [hayleyhavoc]
I would say that many movie titles seem strange if you havn't actually seen it. [hayleyhavoc]
The very last movie I watched was The Chronicles of Narnia. I haven't seen that on the big screen and I actually watched it on my tv with cable connection hehehe.. I missed a lot of movies on the big screen actually so made up to my cable instead. The very last movie I watched on the big screen was of Nicholas Cage. I forgot the title he has a burning motorcycle on that movie. Remind me of that movie anyway.. [MGjhaud]
Ghost Rider... That one one freaky movie. The Chronicles of Narnia I can't remember if I have seen or not I will have to check it out. [zeloguy]
I just watched Bee Season on DVD which stars Richard Gere, Juliet Binoche and Flora Cross. I initially thought it was just another spelling bee- and feel-good movie, but it was so much more complex and deeper that that. I really enjoyed it but I'm still trying to understand what it was all about, because it was quite complicated. Clearly not just a spelling bee movie! Haha. [girlontheside]
Heh I don't think I have seen either of those I will definately have to add those to my list of movies to see. Thanks for the post. [zeloguy]
American Gangster. An amazing piece of work. Maybe i'm a little biased because it stars two of my favourite actors: Denzel Washington and Russel Crowe. A must watch. [spamjammer]
That was a really good movie. I forgot about that one... that is one of those movies that you had to really sit on the edge of your seat the whole movie and have your brain working at the same time. Excellent choice. Zelo [zeloguy]
