I have a lot 'coz I'm a hopeless romantic. But I love Julia Roberts' line from the movie Runaway Bride. She was trying to win Richard Gere back:
"I guarantee that we'll have tough times.
I guarantee that at some point, one or both of us will surely wanna get out.
But I also guarantee that if I don't ask you to be mine, then I'll regret it for the rest of my life.
Coz I know in my heart, that you're the only one for me."
Now I can't help giggling about it.

[dbeast]

Mine is from the movie Chasing Amy.When Ben's character confesses his love for Joey Lauren Adams character. This line really gets me..coz it soooo true.LOL 'And I know this will probably like queer our friendship, but I had to say it cause I've never felt this way before and I don't care, I like who I am because of it. And if bringing this out tonight means that we can't hang out anymore then that hurts me but God I couldn't allow another day without getting it out there regardless of the outcome...' [sweetrala]
One of my favorite lines is also from Chasing Amy, when Ben's character says: "You are the epitome of everything I ever looked for in another human being". also: "There isn't another soul in this f**king planet who has ever made me half the person I am when I'm with you" I loved that movie! [berlinlife]
I love romantic stuff too! There is a part of a dialog from Meet Joe Black, where Anthony Hopkins character is talking with his daughter about being in love and tells her: "I want you to get swept away out there. I want you to levitate, I want you to sing with rapture and dance like a dervish. Be deliriously happy, or at least leave yourself open to be. I know it's a cornball thing. But love is passion, obsession, someone you can't live without. I say fall head over heels! Find someone you can love like crazy and who will love you the same way back. How do you find him? Well, you forget your head and you listen to your heart. cause the truth is, honey, there is no sense living your life without this. To make the journey and not fall deeply in love, well, you haven't lived a life at all" [berlinlife]
Yeah.. Meet Joe Black! I love that too! "Be deliriously happy! Lightning can strike!" [dianavarro]

( he's nervous so he kinda mixed the words ) mary (lauren holly) : not good. lloyd : not good...like one out of a thousand? mary : more like one out of a million. lloyd : so...i knew i had a chance that was the best response to rejection. one of my favorites was from the movie as good as it gets but I don't know the exact words... basically jack nicholson said.. " you make me want to be a better man". If a guy said that to me i'd probably melt. Hahaha! [purplesea]
One of my favorite movies is "A league of their own" with Rosie O'Donnell, Madonna and Gena Davis. I can remember every single like from that movie, but my all time favorite is... "Okay, well maybe some of them are going to go home!" That is the part where they are practicing and Rosie throws a fast ball at Gena Dabis and she catches it with her bare hands. Yea, it's a boring line but it has played over in my head for years and is an ongoing joke with my friends. Trust me, I have so MANY more favorite lines from movies. Maybe we should continue this post in parts, lol. [Laydee83]
i have another one, actually this one is not from a movie but from the videogame tomb raider legend. "...from now on, every breath you take is a gift from me..." - Lara Croft [stefan_diego]
There are a lot of lines that I like from a lot of different movies. Some of my favorite lines are : From Lilo and Stitch [first movie] when Stitch sits in the wilderness with the book open to the story of The Ugly Ducking and cries "I'm lost." I love it but it sends me into the boo hoos for a bit. I love the Tremors movies, all four of them and there are great lines from all of them. "This valley is just one long smorgasboard." cracks me up, from the first Tremors movie. Then there's "And THAT'S why we're at the top of the food chain!" from Tremors 3. Funny stuff. Then there's some of the lines from the Stargate SG1 television series. There's the character of Teal'c who has very little to say but packs a lot into what he does say. His one word line is "Indeed." He says it in his deep voice. It's great and fits all occasions. There's also a line from the last Jurassic Park movie. The 4th one when he says about their chances of getting off the hungry dinosaur island "We probably won't get off this island alive." [horsesrule]
One of my favorites comes from the movie "V for Vendetta" where the main character V played by Hugo Weaving introduces himself to Ivy played by Natalie Portman. It's not just a line, but several lines, a full discourse where almost every word starts with the letter V. It's really cool and fantastic the way it was delivered that it made me rewind back to watch it all over again. I'd really recommend that you watch it. :) [posterBOY]
Couldn't resist adding the actual dialog; here it is: "Voilą! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is it vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished, as the once vital voice of the verisimilitude now venerates what they once vilified. However, this valorous visitation of a bygone vexation, stands vivified, and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose vis-ą-vis an introduction, and so it is my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V." - Hugo Weaving as V, "V for Vendetta" For the plain translation, look here: http://www.the-reel-mccoy.com/movies/2006/VforVendetta.html [posterBOY]

I have two, one is a line and one is a quote. 1. Professor X from X-Men: "Mutation, it is the key to our evolution, it is what enables us to evolve from a single celled organism into the dominant species of the planet. This process is slow and normally taking thousands and thousands of years, but every few millennia, evolution leaps forward." 2. Yoda from Star Wars: "Try Not, do or do not, there is no try." [rogue13xmen13]
from my best friend's wedding "when you love someone, you have to say it out aloud or the moment passes you by." -It only shows that we have to be demonstrative when loving someone or else time will leave us, all alone and without the person we love [leasantos17]
Yes! I was waiting for someone to mention it! Thanks! [dianavarro]
The one line from "ConAir"....why couldn't you have just put the bunny back in the box? My daughter says it so well, it cracks me up everytime! [paradisesuns]

"For want of a nail, the horseshoe was lost. For want of a horseshoe the steed was lost. For want of a steed, the message was not delivered. For want of an undelivered message, the war was lost." These are the lines from Tokyo Drift. I never imagined that there will be such great line in a movie like that. It really impressed me. Such small words but great meaning. Isn't it??? [unishwetabh]
I love this line from the movie, "Great Expectations" it was when Anne Bancroft playing a bitter old woman got Finn's hand and placed it on her chest and said, "What is this?" Finn answered, "your boobs?" And Anne Bancroft replied, "my heart, it's my heart. It's broken. Can You tell? Then when Finn grew up to be a man, He went after Estella, Anne Bancroft's beautiful niece. But because of Anne Bancroft's doing, they never got together as a couple. Then one day, Finn went to look for Estella at their house but she wasn't there. Anne Bancroft revealed to Finn the scheme she has done and Finn, took Anne Bancroft's hand, put it to his chest and repeated the same lines that Anne Bancroft gave when he was just a boy. It was so neat and heartfelt. [xanjvill]
There is also this line from Notting Hill when Hugh Grant was telling Julia Roberts that he cannot love her because of her being a star. Julia: ...but you should also remember that even if I am famous I am also just a girl standing in front of a boy asking him to love her. That was so romantic... [xanjvill]

My favourite line has to be... "I am too old for this sh..t" (I can relate. lol) This was the line from Sergeant Murtock in the first Lethal Weapon movie of 1987. Since then... I have heard this line in more than half a dozen movies. Talk about copycats. But it is a good one... to which any 50 year old can relate to. [Aussies2007]
I think Danny Glover and Samuel L Jackson has said this line in just about all their movies. [phatkat]

I do quote movies and songs alot. One of my favorites is run forrest run. Off of forrest gump. [lisa101]
I am a plus size woman. But men get a kick out of my imitation of Eartha Kitt (old lady CEO) from the movie 'Boomerang' starring Eddie Murphy and Robin Givens. I usually will act it out to break dead silence and have been told on several occasions that this is how I am remembered: "Marrrrrrrrrrcus Dah-ling. I'm not wearing any panties!" [phatkat]

It sounds that you have enjoyed romantic term; I am not so romantic one as you to post this. I am happy to learn from you as much as I can. I am also a hopeless romantic one and looking for many ones but I have never succeeded in romance yet. Romance is good and like the medicine to ignite any work to succeed in a short time with happiness. I love romance movie, too. [phon4u]
My favorite is from the movie THE NOTEBOOK. It says: "I am no one special. I am just a common girl with common thoughts. I have led a common life. My favorite line from a movie is " You are nothing but a second rate trying hard copy cat"....uttered by Cherrie Gil to Sharon Cuneta in "Bituing Walang Ningning" a Filipino movie. Or Nora Aunor's " Para kang karinderia, kung sino sino ang pumapasok". It is hard to translate the full meaning to English. This is also a Filipino movie. [ladymoonstone143]
