we all watch movies and are addicted to it in many ways.Some say that its the reflection of our lives,some says its the mirror of the community and some says that its like our own lives.
different people have different choices.So whats your flavour of movies?
I like comedy movies as compared to any other becoz they are mood freshners and i watch movies not for crying but for making my day and thats only done by comedy movies.

I love gangster films.... Casino, Goodfellas, American Gangster, Scarface... those types of movies. I was never able to get into The Godfather though, I have no idea why... maybe because it's old school. I don't know. But, yeah, gangster films... they're the best! [mrseharper]

Dear coolcat123, I like romance and comedy. Mostly I see comedy movies as you said it is mind refreshing and I really want to be in a happy mood always. I want to enjoy my life and don't want to waste my precious time in some crying and horror movies. I never like to see a movie with a sad ending too. I've recently watched, Marley and me. i am a movie freak i love to watch movies of all genres and all kinds of movies and all sorts of movies... i love to watch good movies .. classics may be... and my second choice of genre which i love to watch are horror movies... i love to watch horror movies tat too at mid night alone ... it s a great experience... then i like war movies .... this genre of movies i started liking recently after watching Schindler's list .So i went on to watch some more movies in this genre and to my surprise i really liked them all..... I like any movie that makes me laugh. But for some reason I don't like a lot of Will Ferrell movies. I'm not sure why because most people think he's really funny. I'm not really crazy about them at all. [stacysmomstl]

I am very big fan of movies with strong message that is not clearly visible through the whole movie. Kubrick used to do such movies, with questions about morality and violence mixed with strong reality. For such I love war and action movies, also some good drama may come in handy. :) [egosbeat]
I don't really have favorites but i rather like all kinds of movies except westerns & sports types....and i hate war movies....Hahah guess i was wrong about liking all types Huh? the genres that i am into are the following in order of preference sci-fi, horror and action. sci-fi and fantasy are my favorite genres even when it comes to reading material. i like the universe that is opened up with this genre, because anything can happen. i like being scared by horror, whether it is by the undead, things that go bump in the night, or serial killers and suchlike. my idea of a romantic movie it the matrix, neo and trinity, now THERE is romance for you. My favorite type of movies are drama, some action and comedy. I like to also movies that are based on real life issues. When I look at a comedy, I look at them for a good laugh. I like to laugh as much as I can. I love movies that make me feel good about myself and others. [laurenrich]

i like all types but depends on mood..if i am sad i dont like to see sad movies as they give u more pain..and make ur mood still worst..but really speaking..in bad mood i dont like anything..even comedy movies i cant enjoy..as the scenes can't make me laugh..so mostly i listen to music in bad mood...movies i see only when i am free and happy..and in such condition i can enjoy any kind of movie..but quality should be good..a 3 class movie is not worth giving my time..actually fromt he time i have got computers i dont have time to watch movies... Hi Coolcat, I prefer romantic and comedy movie.I love to watch movie at the cinema when I was young. I will go to cinema at least 2-3 times per week. I can say that I watched every single movie that played in the cinema. That 's my past. I have not been stepping cinema for the past 2 years since I have a kid. No time for it!! I like movies that are romantic, comedy and sometimes scary but when the ending is not that good sure I will be disappointed. I don't prefer to watch emotional films, the reason of us to watch films is to be entertained , if we watch emotional films it only lead us to be hurted and sad. I don't like crying. I don't like full drama. Comedy films I like are movies of Sandra Bullock , Adam Sandler, Rob Schneider, and some feel good movies. Romantic movie like a walk to remember and the Notebook is my fave.
