For me the best James Bond is Pierce Brosnan.
He is my favorite hollywood actor and when he played the role of James Bond made me gald
I watched all the Jmaes Bond movie when it was his turn to be James Bond. I never missed one.He is such a handsome cool and dashing man and for me he is the best.
Now that they have naother James Bond, I never watched James Bond again and would never watch it unless it ia Pierce Brosnan.
The new James Bond is not really familiar to me so I never bothered watching it.

I believe Daniel Craig is. The original James Bond of the movies was meant to be tough and rugged. He wasn't written and meant to be a pretty boy. And Sean Connery, the first Bond, wasn't a pretty boy. As time progressed, the movies relied more on gadgets than the plot and character of Bond. I feel with the new actor in the role, that this opens up way more opportunities for deeper stories. [AmbiePam]

Well, having grown up watching Roger Moore as James Bond, I sort of have two favorites, both Roger Moore and Pierce Brosnan. I was rooting for Pierce Brosnan to get the James Bond role the first time he was offered it back in the 80's when he was playing Remington Steele. The show wouldn't let him out of his contract, though, and for a while, we thought he'd never get another chance but the producers of James Bond movies came back to him after he was out of the contract. I've also become more of a fan of Sean Connery in recent years so I may have to go back and watch some of the films with him as James Bond. I still have to say that since I watched Roger Moore for so many years, it's hard for me not to think of him when James Bond is mentioned. [whimsystoryteller]

Hello Zelmarq!:-) Pierce Brosnan has been a very good James Bond in the 007 series. I was really surprised to see that he has so many devoted fans after him. I was more surprised when his fans started a sort of movement and/or protest to bring him back when his contract was over with 007 series. I really liked him as James Bond but I would recommend you to see the new one with Daniel Craig as James Bond. He has done adequate justice with his role and overall character and I hope you would like him, if not consider him the best. I liked Sean Connery also. He seemed perfectly fit in the character. Though we have many bonds, he was in a lucky era of enormous gadgets which the older bonds did not get much. so i think he is best. I think I'll support Daniel Craig. People were almost sort of bound to Pierce Brosnan = James Bond like equation. When I grew up 007 was Roger Moore. I really like him. He looks smart, funny and always dress well. He is also good looking, although some people said he is the shortest among other actors at least he is still 6' and dark haired, it fits 007 description a smooth agent. I'm a James Bond fanatic. I have watched almost all 007 movies. It all started when I watched GoldenEye, the Bond movie where Pierce Brosnan first played the lead role. I then rented DVD's to watch previous movies with Sean Connery & Roger Moore at the helm. And I agree with you, Pierce is the best Bond ever.
