It is likely that you will eat some snacks when you are watching a movie. We are a little different. Usually when my husband and I go to see a movie together, we won't eat anything and we just watch the movie. It seems that we don't have a break to eat something:)

Movies after all meant for entertainment and I do not take it seriously as we used to during childhood. So I take breakfast while watching TV news, I take lunch and watch some serials and at night I take dinner and watch star movies channel. [ssh123]

Back in the 80's when it didn't take 20.00 to pay for popcorn and a drink,we would get popcorn before the movie but we would eat it before the movie started. These days , we don't get any popcorn because it is too expensive.At home,it depends on the time of day. If it is dinner time or I want a snack.I'll eat. Whenever my wife and I watch a movie, we always buy popcorns and chips and then drinks. This happens when we expect the movie to be more than an hour and a half. If I am running behind, and the movie begins without me having something to eat, I will not get up and leave to get something, and will watch the entire movie without eating anything. Most of the time. Whenever my husband and I watch a movie, it is always best when we are munching on something. In a movie theater, there is really a vast variety of snacks that we can buy near the theater. Or even just at home, when watching a movie on dvd, we gladly anticipate with eating something, usually munching on junkfoods, dipped in vinegar.(: [sophylline]

Yes, I'm actually fond of having snacks while watching a movie. I get to see it either with family or friends. Sometimes, we also get a bite to eat either before or after a movie, but yes, we do eat something also while watching one. I usually don't, and when I do buy something I would eat it before the movie starts or after it ends. For me it is too much of a distraction - and so is people unwrapping the paper from their items all over the theatre while the movie is going. [Qaeyious]

Yeah probably the most time I would eat something or do something else to while watching the movie. Like outting puzzle together or read a magazine, because sometime I just feel like I need to so many things at once. I know it sounds crazy. And I tell you secret , what is my favourite snacks. I don't always eat while watching a movie. I wanted to understand the whole story of the movie so I wanted to focus more on to it. Whats the meaning of watching movie without eating? I always eat something while watching movie. In the first half I may not eat something but in the second half, I always buy and eat something. Yes we do have a habit of eating something when we go out to wathc a movie. Its normally popcorn and hotdog with some colddrink. If my children to go along then we go to a theatre where eatables are allowed to be taken along as i dont know when they would be telling me that they need some refereshment. [limcyjain]

In Canada and the USA the theatre snack bar probably makes more money then the tickets to enter the show and the snacks are taken back into the theatre to be disposed of [Cancer2005]
we generally dont go out to see a movie, because it is much too expensive, but when we watch a movie at home (whether it is rented [which we do sometimes] borrowed [from the library or relatives] or one that we have, we buy popcorn kernals and make a large pot of popcorn. [cher913]

Hey yl, My family likes to munch when we watch a movie-I have a funny story for y'all about that: Since the theatre snacks are so expensive we would stop at the store before we got to the movie & grab a little snack to sneek in w/ us-my son wanted this full size bag of cheese popcorn & I was like "how are you going get that in the movie?" well,he wanted it so we got it for him-the only thing we could figure out was to put it on his back under his jacket so he walked in the movie w/ this big hump on his back it looked so funny!! +'s |:) [meme0907]

Yes, usually popcorn. Other times a hot dog. One time I had a hamburger in the theatre (they were selling them and they weren't bad). I've also had a slice of pizza along with a movie. Everytime I go to the movies I always get a drink and a popcorn.. I always complain bout the prices, but to me going to the movies without getting that stuff, just isn't going to the movies. Normally I don't. 2 reasons. The first is that the cinemas here restrict the kind of food we can bring in. They only allow food bought at their counters to be brought in. Believe you not, if you are seen carrying a packet of macs fries, they will stop your way (how can they do this?!!!). That really brings me to the second reasons. They only sell popcorns and hotdogs and maybe taco so not many choices there. I don't really like popcorns because crunching them makes a lot of noise and I feel it disturbs others who are watching the movies - not to mention it makes my fingers sticky. As for taco and hotdogs, I do not need to bring them in lol... I can swallow them in one slurp. :P [lordwarwizard]
